Kaiden’s P.O.V. Every woman that walked in to the lobby looked amazing and I couldn’t wait to see Anna, Vivyanna entered the lobby first as Ynanna and Aziza followed close behind. As Ynanna walked towards Kaelan Anna came in to view and my heart skipped a beat, she looked drop-dead gorgeous in her purple, formfitting dress. I heard it the second Gunnar’s eyes landed on Rosa, because he muttered “Fuck” under his breath. “You look absolutely amazing, Anna.” I whispered in her ear as I pulled her closer to me. My Lycan was purring in my head and we both hoped that Anna was our Mate. We wanted to keep her safe, wanted to show her that there was good in the world and we wanted to make her forget about her past. Gunnar’s P.O.V. I hated waiting, I hated standing still with nothing to do and I hated it tonight even more as I was waiting for Rosa to appear. My Lycan was pacing in my head and he was driving me nuts with his whining. Not that I could blame him, because I wanted her near me just as badly as he did and I didn’t think we would be able to let her go if she was not our fated Mate. She was the reason I had been able to sleep through the night, something I thought I would never be able to do again. During my career I had done and seen things that made it hard to sleep through the night, but with Rosa in my arms I slept like a baby. Than my eyes were drawn to a woman walking behind Aziza and I softly muttered “Fuck” as Rosa came in to view. Ragnar’s P.O.V. As I held my hand out to Aziza, I saw Gunnar and Kaiden from the corner of my eye and I had to stifle a smile. I reacted the same way when my eyes finally saw Aziza walk in to view. She looked hot as hell and I couldn’t help myself as I linked her, just to make sure she knew what that dress did to me. I couldn’t wait to get her alone after the Full Moon, no matter what the Moon Goddess decided.On our way to the Palace I held her close to me and she had looked up at me with a smile on her face. We were told that we would arrive last and that Vivyanna would introduce us to the King and Queen. I had never met the King and I actually had been more curious about Prince Xandros, the young man that had my Aunt acting like a teenager. So as we approached the Palace I tried to find the man she had described to me. Aziza’s P.O.V. Prince Xandros leads us through the Palace and out the back in to the backyard. There is a stage to the left for the King to hold his speech, just before the Moon reaches its highest point. Every Full Moon the Palace holds a party for unmated High-ranking Werewolves and Lycans from four or five Packs and once a year on the Harvest Moon the Palace holds a Ball. For that Ball they invite every unmated Alpha, Beta and Gamma and five families with unmated children from that Pack. Today was just a party, but there were still a lot of Werewolves and Lycans present. As we walk down the steps a She-wolf looks up and down Ragnar’s body and as she looks at me Jenny pushes forward, just enough to show her that we are not amused. She quickly turns her eyes to Kaiden, but Anna gives her the same treatment I gave her and after that she made the mistake of turning her eyes to Gunnar. Rosa walks over to her and whispers something in her ear, which makes the woman pale. As she walks back to Gunnar’s side she has a huge grin on her face and I wonder what she said to the She-wolf. Vivyanna leads us to our table, which is next to the table of the Royal Family. Anna’s P.O.V. My Wolf and I are a nervous wreck as we walk out the backdoor of the Palace and the She-wolf that is eye-fucking Kaiden makes me feel even worse. That is until my Wolf pushes forward a little and scares the She-wolf off. His hand is on my lower back and his thumb is running small circles, it calms us down as we walk to our table. I am still at awe as I look around the backyard, seeing all the decorations that add to the sphere of the night. Kaiden is sitting close to me with his arm on the back of my chair and his fingers are tracing circles on my upper arm. From time to time I see men looking at me, but they quickly look away and I get a feeling that Kaiden is staring daggers at them. I really hope that the Moon Goddess is on my side tonight and will grant me the Mate I have been longing for, for so long. Someone to take me away from the life I was living, someone to love and cherish me, someone that will protect me from harm. Rosa’s P.O.V. I see the She-wolf eyeing Ragnar and Kaiden as we walk down the steps and I know she will go for Gunnar next. As soon as she looks at Gunnar I walk over to her and whisper “Stay the fuck away from our Mates.” There is no doubt in my mind that Gunnar is my Mate and because of that confidence she believes every word I say. I sit down at our table with Gunnar next to me and he inches the chair even closer. From time to time I hear soft growls and I know that his Lycan is not pleased with the men that are looking at me, I hold his hand to calm his Lycan down. Slowly the time moves towards midnight and the closer we get, the more anxious I become. Gone is my confidence in Gunnar being my Mate, gone is the feeling of happiness and I have to remind myself that the Goddess won’t be this cruel. Gunnar squeezes my hand as he kisses my cheek and I smile at his way of comforting me. Ragnar’s P.O.V. I see the looks Kaiden gives the men that look at Anna and I hear Gunnar’s Lycan growl as men are staring at Rosa, but I am not doing much better myself. Every time a man’s eyes land on Aziza, I want to tear him apart and Donny is right there with me. Aziza holds on to my hand as her thumb runs circles on the back of my hand, but it is not helping with the murderous thoughts that run through my mind. “Hello, Gorgeous. My name is Paul and I am the future Alpha of Red Forest Pack.” A young Werewolf says to Aziza and Donny is growling in my head. “Hello, Paul. My name is Aziza, I am an Investigator for the Council and I am not interested.” She says sweetly before she turns her back on him. Paul looks at a loss and Donny is cheering in my head for the way she handled that. I look at Paul for a moment longer, before I return my attention to the conversation at our table. “She put that guy nicely in his place.” Gunnar says and the others agree with him. Suddenly the She-wolf from earlier shows up and she stands really close to Gunnar as she says “Hi Handsome….” But Rosa interrupts her as she yells “Paul, this one might be interested.” We all choke on our drinks and I hear Aunt Vivyanna laugh. The She-wolf disappears quickly as Paul makes his way back to our table. “She went that way, Paul.” Anna says as she points in the direction were the She-wolf went and she giggles as Paul rushes in that direction. “And here I thought you would be the one causing trouble, Aziza.” I say teasingly. Chase looks from Aziza to Anna and then over at Rosa before he says “If those three ever team up, I am moving to the other side of the world.”
