Prince Xandros’ P.O.V. I am pacing up and down my living-room as I wait for Vivyanna to arrive, Grandmother is sitting in an armchair and she is smiling as she watches me. “Grandson, if you keep this up we will have to replace the carpet soon. She will be here, stop worrying.” She says and I look at her with fear written all over my face. “What if she has changed her mind? What if she doesn’t want me if we are not fated Mates?” I know I am rambling, but I can’t help myself. The door to my Quarters opens and my Sister walks in. I look at Grandmother and she just shrugs her shoulders. “Xandros, stop worrying. Vivyanna will not change her mind, I have watched the two of you and you are the one she wants in her life.” Taliyah says. She hugs me as she keeps talking to me and slowly my panic attack disappears. “Thanks, Sis. You are right, I am just overthinking it.” I sit down next to Grandmother and take a good look at my Sister. “Taliyah, are you trying to make your Mates throw protocol out of the window?” I ask her teasingly and Grandmother starts giggling as Taliyah’s face turns red. “And she is doing a very good job, if that is her intention.” Malachay growls as he walks towards my Sister. Grandfather walks in to my Quarters and tells us to go downstairs to welcome our guests. My Grandparents walk out first, Taliyah walks out with Ward and Eamon at her side and Malachay and I close the ranks as we make our way down. I look for Xandros as I exit the SUV and he just stares at me. I am wearing a navy-blue halter-dress with a partially open back, formfitting at the top and flaring wide from the waist down with a split on the front. As described by protocol my hair is done up to show that I am unmated, it is the only part of the protocol I really hate and I know that Taliyah is going through protocol to see what she wants to change. I slowly walk towards the King and Queen with Armas beside me and I can’t wait to talk to Xandros. It seems to take forever before I am standing in front of Xandros and he leans forward to whisper in my ear “You look gorgeous.” I blush at his words and he quickly kisses my cheek before he stands up straight again. I know it will take a while before he can join me so I walk over to Barin and Aurora, who are standing close behind him. Barin whispers a name from time to time and Xandros is making his way through greeting all the guests. I am so proud of how he handles his new title and how he deals with all the protocol. I watch as he greets Alpha’s and Luna’s and I see the looks on their faces as he introduces himself as Prince Xandros, Son of Princess Izabella. Some of them recognize him as the Son of Talon, but not once does he react to their questions. The King and Queen turn towards the front door and I know that this is my que, so I walk over to them as Xandros steps next to me. “Your Majesty, in a few seconds a few more guests will arrive. Armas talked to Taliyah about it and she approved it.” I quickly fill them in on who are coming and what their connection to the investigation is. Just as I am finished speaking the SUV’s pull up and the King turns to greet them. I introduce everyone to the King and Queen, so they can greet them in a proper way. I step back with Xandros as I keep my eyes on Ragnar and once he has greeted the King he walks over to me. “Ragnar, this is Prince Xandros. Prince Xandros, this is my Nephew Ragnar, a Squad Captain.” Ragnar introduces Aziza to Xandros and asks him how he is enjoying his new life. “If only I could get rid of the title Prince.” He whispers, making the three of us laugh. “Your Highness, I can not imagine what it is like to be addressed with a Royal title. However I do understand that sometimes people expect to gain something from knowing someone with a title.” Aziza responds, making everyone laugh. Aziza’s P.O.V. I can’t believe that I am at the Palace and I am greeted by the King and Queen. Vivyanna is standing next to a very handsome man and I have a feeling that that is Prince Xandros. Once Vivyanna introduces us I understand why she likes him, he is easy to talk to and he seems very uncomfortable with his title. I am glad he can laugh at my words and I know that he feels the same.
