Alpha Raelyn: The Alpha They Never Saw Coming

Chapter 133 Just Be Together Already

"Taylor, do you have anything left to say?" I glanced at her and let out a light laugh. "I..." Taylor fumbled for words, unsure what to say. Suddenly, while we were off guard, she lunged forward and grabbed a fruit knife off the bedside table, pressing it against Madam Regina’s neck. "Taylor, what are you doing?" Aiden’s eyes widened in shock. Seeing how deranged she looked, he didn’t dare make a sudden move. "What am I doing? Aiden, why? I’ve loved you for so many years, and the moment I came back, I had to watch you fall in love with her. Why? All of you sided with Raelyn, bullied me, pushed me out! You’re all so blinded by her that I’ve lost everything! It’s all your fault!" Taylor screamed hysterically. I watched as her trembling hands caused the blade to drag slightly across Madam Regina’s neck, leaving a thin cut that immediately began to bleed. "Raelyn, I hate you! I wish you were dead!" I didn’t dare move either—I could only glance toward Aiden. His brow furrowed tightly as he let out a deep sigh and said in a calm voice, "Taylor." His tone was unusually gentle, making Taylor freeze. She stared at him in disbelief. "What did you say?" "Taylor, let’s get married." The words struck her like lightning. Her entire body began to tremble, and tears burst out of her eyes. She looked at Aiden like she was in a dream, grinning through her tears. "Aiden... I’ve finally waited so long to hear you say that... Aiden, I love you." Off to the side, Andrix suddenly lunged forward, snatching the knife from Taylor’s hand and kicking her away in one clean motion. She collapsed to the floor, her dazed eyes still fixated on Aiden. Aiden rushed over to protect Madam Regina.I turned to Andrix and saw a deep gash running across his palm from the struggle, blood dripping freely. I quickly tore a strip from the bedsheet and wrapped it tightly around his hand. "Don’t be so reckless next time. Have someone disinfect and bandage it properly or it’ll get infected." Andrix was momentarily stunned by my concern before snapping back and pulling out his phone to call the werewolf guards. Taylor sat there, utterly broken, tears streaming down her face as she mumbled over and over, "Aiden... Aiden..." I couldn’t help but sigh quietly. Born from love, twisted by jealousy, consumed by hatred. Pitiful? Maybe. But not worthy of pity. The werewolf guards arrived quickly and moved to drag Taylor away to the station, but Madam Regina stopped them. The rest of us—Aiden, Andrix, and I—looked at her in surprise. "Let her go. I still can’t bring myself to be that cruel." "Mom. Her?" Aiden looked at the Luna of the Midnight Pack in disbelief. Taylor was stunned too, staring at Madam Regina. Her lips trembled as she turned to Taylor. "Taylor, whatever bond we once had is over now. Don’t ever step foot in the Midnight Pack again." Aiden let out a long sigh beside her. Taylor curled into herself, sobbing into her hands. In the end, Madam Regina still couldn’t bring herself to truly hurt the girl she’d cared for over a decade. Andrix called out, "Just toss her out. Post guards at the door—don’t let her back in." "Yes, sir." The werewolf guards dragged Taylor out.Silence returned to the room. I glanced at Madam Regina’s neck, where the blood still hadn’t stopped seeping. "Are you alright?" "I’m fine. It probably just got nicked earlier." Madam Regina looked at me, her eyes filled with emotion. She reached out a hand. I walked over slowly. She gently held my hand. "Raelyn, I know it was all my fault before. From now on, I won’t interfere in anything between you and Aiden. And if he ever treats you badly, I won’t let him off the hook!" As she said this, she shot Aiden a warning glare. I felt a warmth in my chest and gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "You just woke up. You’re probably not feeling your best yet. We’ll step out and let you rest." She nodded and finally closed her eyes. The three of us tiptoed out and walked into the garden outside. Andrix looked at me with a smile. "Looks like you two can be together in the open now." "What’s it to you?" I rolled my eyes at him. His sarcastic tone made me uncomfortable. Andrix lowered his head and said softly, "Because I like you too. If you end up with him, then what about me?" "Andrix, quit pretending. It’s getting old." I called him out directly. I still didn’t know what exactly he wanted from me, but with how persistent he’d been, I knew he wasn’t going to give up easily. "I’m not pretending. This is the first time in over twenty years that I’ve liked someone. Don’t misunderstand me." He smiled at me with an oddly sincere glint in his eye. "Why don’t you just tell me what you’re after? Maybe I could even help you out." Andrix pretended not to hear and asked instead, "Then would you marry me?" I let out a helpless laugh. Aiden stepped forward and put his arm around my shoulders. "She’s going to be your sister-in-law. Stay away from her."Andrix chuckled. "Sister-in-law? I’ll be looking forward to that."
