Alpha Raelyn: The Alpha They Never Saw Coming
I finally understood everything. The most urgent thing now was to find proof that Taylor was the one who harmed others and clear my name. Not to get lost in these tangled and helpless emotions. Taking the initiative—taking control of love—has always been my nature. I immediately called Jackson to ask about Madam Regina’s recovery progress. Jackson sounded a little excited. “You won’t believe it—after three days of surveillance, Taylor finally walked right into the trap. Earlier tonight, she tried to pull out Madam Regina’s IV. One of my people caught her and recorded everything.” I was speechless. Taylor really was vile—she actually dared to try hurting Madam Regina again. I said, “She’s scared. If Madam Regina wakes up, her good days are over.” Jackson must’ve heard the ease in my tone, because he got curious. “You sound pretty happy, Raelyn. Something good happen?” I smiled. “Nothing much. By the way, what about Ruby’s case?” Hearing me bring that up, Jackson’s tone turned even lighter. “The blood found in Ruby’s house matches a known criminal who used to be in Varken Prison. He served ten years and had only been out for two months when he killed again. I looked into his recent activity—twenty hours before Ruby’s death, he received a five-million transfer from Taylor.” “So that means all of this was Taylor’s doing?” “Exactly. She’s the mastermind behind the murder.” I took a deep breath. The truth was finally out. Looks like I really did wrong Andrix… “Alright. Gather all this evidence tonight. Tomorrow morning, I’m going to the hospital. It’s time to pay Taylor a visit.” I was going to make Aiden see just how fake and manipulative the Taylor he trusted really was.Jackson worked fast. Not long after, he sent me all the documents. The next morning, I brought the evidence and went alone to the hospital where Madam Regina was staying. I didn’t go in right away when I reached the door, because I heard Taylor talking to Aiden inside. “Aiden, when do you think Madam Regina will finally wake up?” Her voice was as sugary as ever, but I knew she was panicking—worried Madam Regina would expose the truth. “Andrix said she’s doing well. Might regain consciousness in a couple of days.” I felt a wave of relief and pushed open the door. Taylor gasped the moment she saw me. “What’s wrong? Scared to see me? Guilty much?” I fired at her. Taylor’s eyes darted away, but her voice stayed sharp. “Raelyn, stop throwing around false accusations. Everyone knows you’re the one who did it. Why would I hurt Madam Regina? She loves me—I’m grateful, not hateful!” Watching her keep up the act, I tossed the folder onto the table. “Since you insist, then let’s talk facts. Want to read it yourself, or should I help you?” Taylor stared at the papers in disbelief. “What is this? Raelyn, fabricating evidence is a crime.” “Is it fabricated? You’ll know at a glance.” I opened the folder and slapped down each document, one by one. “This one—your bank record showing you transferred five million to that convict. Don’t need to explain what that’s for, do I? You arranged the murder of Ruby’s entire family. I didn’t expect you to be the one behind it.” “This one—a photo of you trying to pull out Madam Regina’s IV. Someone caught it on camera. Why would you do that? I think we both know.” Taylor’s face changed instantly. She stood there, speechless. “What, nothing to say? Just now you were so good at arguing. Cat got your tongue?” I smiled coldly at her. From her reaction, I knew the evidence was spot on.“I didn’t do it! It’s fake—this is all fake!” Taylor screamed in denial, but her voice was already trembling. I pressed on. “Then explain. How was this forged? If you think the photo’s fake, go ahead—send it to be verified.”
