Hunter’s P.O.V. Alpha Karl asks what is wrong and I explain to him that Daphne is head of my protection detail, “I need to figure out who can replace her, I took unmated females to give them a bigger chance of finding their fated Mate and I have replacements to make sure that those that find their Mate can stay.” I say. “Well, you don’t need to replace Daphne. I think Jack will be more then willing to come along, he has always wanted to travel and this way he gets what he wants while you get to keep Daphne as head of your team.” Alpha Karl says. I must have looked rather confused as Alpha Karl says, “Jack is my second Pup and that means he is free to do what he wants. I think he will have no problem to follow his Mate wherever she goes.” And I am actually relieved I don’t have to replace Daphne. I send Mom a text to let her know that Daphne found her Mate and that he will becoming with us, Mom replies that she will move all of Daphne’s belongings to a family room. Jayce is standing behind me with his arms wrapped around my waist and the females in front of the Pack-house keep staring at us. Justice decides to provoke them and turns us around in his arms, Jayce seems to understand what we are up to as he lowers his head to press his lips on mine. I slide my arms around his neck as we deepen the kiss and his hands travel down to my ass. “Your Highnesses, just in case you forgot, you have an audience.” I hear Matt say and an ouch right after that, “Why did you do that, Max?” He asks and Max replies, “They are doing that on purpose, Shithat.” I hear giggles and chuckles around us and Jayce pulls me even closer to his body. We slowly break our kiss as someone clears their throat behind us, “Prince Jayce, every Alpha is waiting in my office. Why don’t you follow me, so we can discuss the reason of your visit.” Alpha Brad says. I don’t have to say or do anything, everyone steps behind us as if they have one mind and I slowly turn around towards Alpha Brad. “Alpha Brad, I want everyone out here. I will address all your Pack-members and every member of the visiting Packs at the same time, I hate to repeat myself.” I say coldly.For a moment it looks as if he wants to object, but the other Alphas are already coming out of the Pack-house and I see a female approaching Alpha Karl. She steps next to him and I see similarities in their faces, so I am assuming she is his Daughter. Matt and Victor order everyone to step of the front porch and my protection detail surrounds me and Jayce as we walk up the steps. Victor, Matt and Max position themselves in front of us, while the girls stand behind us and I see Daphne and Jack return. Both of them walk up the steps and stand to my left side, while Jayce is standing to my right. “I would like to thank the Alphas from the surrounding Packs for coming here on such short notice. I am Princess Hunter and to my right is my Mate, Prince Jayce, My other three Mates are currently at other Packs. They will deal with the same thing there as I am dealing with here, the Law on age of consent. It is a Law that was created three hundred and fifty years ago and about seventy years ago it was removed from our Law books, but the Law is still affective. There are a few things that were removed or added to make sure it will benefit those that find themselves in this situation. Age of consent was and still is seventeen, this means that as soon as the underaged Mate turns seventeen he or she can agree to mating with their Mate. However, marking is still not allowed until a male or female is eighteen and only on or after a Harvest Moon. An underaged Mate younger than seventeen is not allowed to sleep in the same room as his or her Mate, the Mate that is of age is obligated to inform the Council of Elders that they have an underaged Mate. On the first Harvest Moon after the underaged male or female turns eighteen they will have to be at the Palace and if it turns out that the male or female of age has lied, they will receive the death penalty. Anyone that tries to break this Law or denies someone this Law will face a punishment that the Pack-members have decided on.” No one has said a word as I was talking and I let them think on my speech for a few moments longer. I look around the crowd and by the looks of it Jack’s Sister has a question for me, I nod my head to grant her permission to speak. “Your Highness, my name is Anna and I am the future Alpha of Little Light Pack.” She says as she steps forward. “What if the male or female of age wants to reject their underaged Mate?” She asks and it is a question I was expecting. “Anna, no one can reject a Mate that is underaged. It doesn’t break the Mate-bond as they are not of age yet and once the underaged Mate turns eighteen they will be able to feel that their Mate is cheating on them. If this would happen we would have to deal with another Law and that will require a trial in front of the King.” I answer her. “Your Highness, can you tell me what one has to do to get a trial like that going?” She asks and by the look on her face I can tell that she has been talking about herself. “Matt, Victor and Max, I want the three of you to arrest the guy she is talking about and he will be facing trial.” I say through the mind-link. “Anna, can you tell me who did this to you?” I ask and for the corner of my eye I see a male standing next to Alpha Brad pale. I turn my attention to him and ask him if he is the male Anna was talking about. He starts to shake his head, but one look from Anna chances his entire demeanor. “Yeah, so what. Who wants to be mated to that.” He replies and I see Max walking over to Anna, he walks around her twice with a strange look on his face. “I don’t see anything wrong with her, nice ass, nice size boobs and a gorgeous face. Oh, and I forgot that she is going to be the Alpha of Little Light Pack. I think Anna should be the one to say who wants to be mated to that.” He comments as he lazily walks over to Alpha Brad and grabs his Son by the throat. “At the order of Princess Hunter, I place you under arrest. Alpha Brad, you will be informed when the trial will take place. Make sure he gets a damn good lawyer, one that might be able to beat Princess Hunter when it comes to our Laws.” Matt and Victor are standing behind Alpha Brad’s Son and Max finally releases him. “Alphas, sorry for this interruption. Is there anyone that has any questions about this Law?” I ask, but it seems that I have answered all their questions by explaining the Law from start to end. “Raise your hand if you are still opposed to this Law?” All Alphas leave their hands by their sides and I turn to Jayce as I say, “Looks like we will be sleeping in our own bed tonight.” Jayce’s P.O.V.Colt is rolling around in my head as we listen to Max say he doesn’t like to play with Barbie dolls, “The plastic one…” Colt can’t even finish his sentence as bursts out in laughter again and it takes everything I have to keep from laughing. Hunter prepared herself well on the way over here and I am surprised that no one says a word as she is talking. While Anna is asking her question I notice that Alpha Brad and his Son are no longer paying attention as they are communicating through a mind-link. I decide this is the perfect opportunity to test Jax’s theory and I concentrate on the Son. I nearly jump as I hear them talking about Anna’s question and I want to rip the guy a second asshole as I hear him say that he is not willing to give up his girlfriends for a Mate like Anna. Hunter’s voice puts a stop to the conversation between Father and Son and I decide to pay a little bit more attention to the two of them as Hunter and Anna discuss her question. I see his face pale as Hunter asks Anna to tell her who the male is she was talking about. I hear a few giggles behind me as Max is talking about Anna and I am surprised she didn’t punch his lights out. Once Victor and Matt have a hold of the guy Max walks back towards Anna, “Anna, I want to apologize for what I said. I usually open my mouth before I think about what I am about to say.” Anna tells him there is no need for an apology if he was stating the truth, “Well, then I will keep my apology. You are a very beautiful woman and I hope you will one day find a male that is worthy of you.” Max replies and Anna smiles at him. I hear Hunter and Jack talking behind me and I wonder why his Mate rejected him, but Hunter beats me to the question. It turns out that his Mate rejected him because he wouldn’t be taking over from his Father and she already had a boyfriend. “Jack, why don’t we follow your Father and Anna to Little Light Pack? It will give you time to pack your things and it will give me the chance to talk to Anna.” Hunter says and I like the fact that my Mate thinks about things others don’t think about. She sends the SUV with Alpha Brad’s Son in it to the Palace with a few of the guards and the rest of us will follow Alpha Karl to his Pack.
