Hunter’s P.O.V. Alice stares at me and Jason as another contraction hits her, I grab her hand to give her something to hold on to and Jason tells her to keep breathing. I grab my phone to call Ella, because I want answers and not just for Gabe but also for Alice. I don’t even get the chance to tell them that Alice is here or that she can hear them, Marc just starts talking about what happened and something tells me this is very difficult for him to talk about. We thank Marc for telling us the truth and after disconnecting the call I look at Alice who is in tears. I keep holding her hand and when the time comes for her Pup to be born I ask Jason to leave the room, which he reluctantly does. Alice gives birth to a little girl and I see that she has her Father’s eyes, but other than that she looks just like her Mom. Jason and I are about to leave the infirmary when a male rushes in and we both recognize him from the picture, making us take a step back to see and hear what will happen. Marc had sent Jason a text that if Alice needed a place to stay, she was more than welcome to stay with him and Paula and that is exactly where she will be going right now. It will also prevent him from coming after her as he is not allowed on Palace grounds. Alice is sleeping in the backseat when we pull up to the Palace and Adam is waiting for us to help with whatever it is we need. The moment Jason opens the door Adam’s head snaps towards the SUV and a smile crawls onto my face as I see Alice looking at Adam with big, wide eyes. Adam opens the door for Alice and holds out his hand to her, waiting patiently for her to grab it. Her eyes turn to mine in the rearview mirror and as I nod my head she places her hand in his, Jason has already gotten little Mariah out of the SUV. Marc introduces himself and Paula to Alice and welcomes her to the family, while Gabe grabs Mariah from Jason’s arm. They will make her feel right at home and I know that given time she and Adam will become a great fated couple. Gabe and Jason pull Adam aside to tell him what happened to Alice and his Lycan roars in anger, but instead of getting scared she walks up to him to place her hand on his arm. Paula is holding Mariah while Brent is standing next to her with Ace in his arms, Paula carefully places Mariah in Adam’s arms as she looks him in the eye, “You take good care of these two, Son. They are family and so are you.” She says as she hugs Alice. Jayce and Justin are patiently waiting until I have time for them and after I have kissed all my Mates I turn to Alice to see a smile on her face. Jayce lifts me up and I quickly wrap my legs and arms around his body, “Where is Jax?” I ask and Jayce tells me he is in Dad’s office.I wiggle out of his arms to get to Dad’s office and Justin follows behind me, before I reach the door he grabs my arm and pulls me close to kiss me again, “Safe that for later tonight, dinner is about to be served.” Mom says from behind us and Jason releases a soft growl. I knock on the door as I immediately open it and I start giggling as Justin repeats Mom’s words, making him growl again. I keep kissing Jax as I reach my hand towards Justin, he doesn’t need any more encouragement and his hands snake around the front of my body as he starts kissing my neck. I feel content with my Mates and Family around me and I know life is going to be great from here on out, Jason grabs my empty plate to fill it for the second time tonight. As I put food on my plate the entire room goes quiet and a smile appears on my face as I hear everyone cheer. We spend the rest of the evening in the main living room and slowly everyone in the Palace finds out that the next heir to the Throne is on his or her way. My Mates have explained to the family that the Pup is Jayce’s Pup, but that they will love him or her as if they were their own. I snuggle deeper into Jax’s embrace and as I listen to my family and friends my eyes slowly close on their own accord.
