Jayce’s P.O.V. It has been three days since Ace and Madison were brought home and I am so proud of our Princess to find this solution to a less than favorable situation for those Pups. After dinner we went to the Throne room and instead of just presents for the Pups, the Werewolves and Lycans that bought them were there. Ace and Madison were officially welcomed to the Royal Pack and Elder Edward was there with the legal paperwork. When the short party was over we went to Victor and Matt’s place first and both of them were surprised by what Emma, Ella and Mom had done. Max is helping out Matt and Victor as much as he can by taking over any of their responsibilities, giving them time with their Daughter. Matt takes Madison with him in a sling and it is amazing to see her sleep through most of what he does. Emma, Ella and Hunter have been taking a few responsibilities away from Gabe and Brent, Dad told them it was not necessary as he could handle a little more work and normally that wouldn’t have been a problem, until Hunter pointed out Mom’s pregnancy. Dad realized that they did it for Brent and Gabe, but they also did it for Mom and Dad. We help Dad as much as we can to give him some time with Mom, but also to give them time to prepare the nursery and I have helped him putting some of the furniture together. It will be a while before the Pup is born, but it means that they can take their time to prepare the nursery. Justin has started planning on our own nursery and he has been discussing with Jason about the furniture, but they haven’t shown us anything yet. Uncle Todd has been helping as much as he can and Aunt Sasha has spent most of her time with Mom and Dad. Peter, Cara, Benjamin and June have been running around the Palace followed by Pops and Papa. We are experiencing what it will be like when our Pups are a little older and I for one can’t wait until the day the five of them will be running around. So far no one has noticed that Hunter is eating more than usual, but than again she is doing her best to hide it as she only scoops up more food on her plate. She doesn’t go for a third round yet, but Justin thinks it won’t be long as he has noticed her snacking more as soon as we are on our own floor. Jax’s P.O.V. I just send Dad upstairs to spend some time with Mom, I am sitting behind his desk reading through the file on Anna and Marcos and I wonder how Hunter plans to get Marcos convicted. However, I also know our Princess well enough to realize that she will find something in our Laws to convict him of. Marcos is a year older than Anna and he found out a year before her that they were Mates, he rejected her on the spot. She had put no value to it as she was unable to feel if he was telling the truth and a year later she had found out that he was indeed her Mate. She accepted his rejection, but apparently it didn’t work as she had been underaged at the time of the rejection and for that reason her acceptance had not severed the Mate-bond between them. She had called and visited his Pack to get him to reject her again, but he has refused. Brick is raging with anger as I read that it has been three years since Anna found out that Marcos was in fact telling the truth the year before, I keep reading through Anna’s statement to see what else he did to her and I nearly lose my shit as I read that he has been cheating on her on a regular basis. I link Greg to meet me in my Dad’s office with three of his most trusted men and five minutes later the four of them walk in. “Gentlemen, I am going to send you on a mission for an upcoming trial. Marcos, the future Alpa of Bright Dawn Pack, is held for a trial and I need you to find some answers.” I say. After I tell them what I have read I have four very angry Lycans on the other side of the desk and I explain to them what I want them to find out for me, what I want them to do for Hunter. Greg tells me they will pack a bag and be on their way within thirty minutes. If anyone can find the answers I want for Hunter it is Greg and his men, they are some of the best investigators we have and I know they will leave no stone unturned before they come home. I make a few notes in the file before I put it on the shelf for “pending review” and I go on to the next file on Dad’s desk. A knock on the door pulls me from the file I am reading and before I can get up the door opens to reveal my Mate with a smile on her face. I smile as she walks over to me and I pull her onto my lap as I kiss her, enjoying the feel of her body against mine. “Dinner is about to be served, you two. Save that for later tonight.” Justin says from the doorway. His face tells me he got a similar comment from someone while he was kissing our Mate and if I had to put money on it my bet would be on Mom or Dad. Jason P.O.V. When Hunter had told that she and the girls wanted to give Gabe and Brent some time to spend with their Pup, Jayce had asked them how they were planning on doing that and Emma had explained that they would be taking care of some of their duties. Jayce had told them that was a great idea as long as one of us was going with them, he wanted to keep an eye on Hunter and for a moment I thought she would objected to it but she didn’t. Today I get to spend the day with Hunter, just like Jax did yesterday and Jayce the day before that. I am not going to interfere with what they do, but I am there when they have questions on what to do in certain cases. Hunter is sitting behind Gabe’s desk as the phone starts ringing. Without hesitation she picks up, only to hear her say “Hello” a few times and I stand behind her within a second to listen. It takes a few moments before we hear a female ask for Gabe and Hunter tells her that he and his Mate are not available as they are taking care of their Pup. I hear the female gasp and Hunter quickly asks her what is wrong, both of us stunned at her answer, “He is my Mate and I need him to come home as I have gone into labor.” Hunter asks her where she is calling from and when I hear the address I know it is a twenty minute drive away. Hunter tells her everything will be taken care off, before she disconnects the call and asks Emma and Ella to look into who the female’s Mate is. We quickly get into Hunter’s SUV and we head over to the Pack the female lives in. Within half an hour we are in the infirmary with the female and when Hunter shows her a picture of Gabe the female tells her that that is not her Mate, “I know he is not your Mate, he is gay and he met his Mate a few years ago.” Hunter says to her. Alice, as she tells us is her name, tells us she met her Mate eight months ago and he told her he was Gamma to the King. That he had to travel a lot for his work, but that they would move to the Palace as soon as the current trouble settled down. I ask her what that trouble was and she tells us that according to him there is an imposter in the Palace that tells everyone she is the Mate to the King’s Sons, “Did he tell you why he is convinced she is an imposter?” She nods her head as she says that the King’s Sons are not Quadruplets and for that fact they can’t be her Mates. “Sorry, but I forgot to introduce ourselves to you.” Hunter says. “This is Prince Jason and I am Princess Hunter, his Mate.” Alice looks at us as she is puffing through a contraction. “She is our Mate, to me and my three Brothers. We may not be a Quadruplet, but our bond is as tight as that of a Quadruplet and on top of that Hunter is a very strong Royal that needs us to keep her balanced.” I say as I pull Hunter closer. Justin’s P.O.V. Jason is with Hunter to help her take care of some of Gabe and Brent’s duties and Emma just walked into Jayce’s office with Ella, telling us Hunter and Jason just left for a Pack. I burst into laughter when Emma is finished talking and Jayce has a grin on his face. Emma shows us a picture of the man that is telling the Pack he is Gabe and I link Dad, Brent and Gabe to get to the bottom of this. They are in the office within seconds and when I tell them what has happened Brent looks at Gabe and both of them are rolling in the aisles. However, a roar erupts from Gabe as I show him the picture and I get this feeling that he knows the man in the picture, a few seconds later his Father walks into the room with a murderous look on his face. Marc is not easily angered, so this means there is something very wrong here and both, Dad and Brent, look at Gabe for answers. Marc tells Gabe to go see his Son and leave this to him, Gabe is quick to take his Father advice and rushes out the door.We all sit down to listen to Marc’s explanation, but before he can start his story Ella’s phone starts ringing and she puts it on speaker while she places the phone in the middle of the table. “Hunter, Gabe knows her Mate and his Father is going to explain it to us. You’re on speaker.” She says. Marc tells us that the guy in the photo is a relative, but that they had no contact with him as his Father and his family had been banished from Palace grounds decades ago. Marc tells us that His Father had taken a chosen Mate after he had rejected his fated Mate. “That in it self is not strange, it happens more often than we think and sometimes it is for good reason. In this case it wasn’t for a good reason, he wanted a strong female to give him strong heirs and his fated Mate was an Omega. She nearly lost her life because of the rejection, but the worse thing was that he had slept with her on numerous occasions before he rejected her and he killed their Pup in the process. Your Grandfather was the one that found her and knew who she was to his Gamma, knew that there was a change she was pregnant.” Marc is breathing heavily as if he struggles to get the words out. I link Drew to ask him if he can get to Jayce’s office after I tell him what is going on and within a few seconds the door flies open while Drew walks in, followed by Linda and Paula.
