Jax’s P.O.V. I keep looking at the message Jayce send and I wonder why he needs to have a video call with us asap. I know Hunter is alright, because if she was not he would have called or Mom would have and that leaves me with a lot of questions. Brick is pacing in my head and he wants to know what is going on as much as I do, but it looks like we will have to wait until Jason wakes up. Brick keeps pestering me that I should call Pops, but I don’t think Jayce wants anyone else to know about what he wants to discuss. “Maybe he wants to tell us how his night with our Mate was or maybe something happened and he didn’t get the chance to mate with her.” Brick says chuckling and I burst out in laughter, “That would be so….” I don’t say anything else as I see a message from Jason pop up. Within a few moments I look at my Brothers and our Mate, she looks happy to me and now I really want to know what this is about, “Okay, Jayce, we are all here. Now tell us what the hell is going on.” Justin growls and I can tell that he is really worried. “Justin, calm down. There is nothing to worry about.” Jayce responds, but the look on Hunter’s face tells me that there is something to worry about and I glare at Jayce. “Guys.” Hunter says and we all focus our attention on her, she will tell us what is going on. “Last night Jayce and I mated.” She says as she turns a few shades of red. Jason tells her that that if fine, after all she already asked for our permission and she hides her face in Jayce’s chest. It takes her a few moments to gather her courage and to face us again. “Well, we kind of forgot to use protection.” She blurts out before she hides her face in Jayce’s chest once again. We stare at the two of them and Justin bursts out in laughter as Jason asks how you kind of forget something. “Wait until she pulls the stunt on you that she pulled on me, dressed in that sexy piece of fabric of hers.” Jayce growls and Justin immediately stops laughing, while Hunter tries to hide deeper into Jayce’s chest. “Why did you ask for this call, Jayce?” I ask, even though I have a feeling why they wanted to talk to us. “If we decide this is not the right time for a Pup Hunter needs to see Doc within the next thirty minutes.” He states flatly and something tells me they already know what they want to do. “Hunter, I will support whatever you want to do. I would love to see that baby bump growing.” I respond as I realize that I will do whatever I have to do to help her with her studies and our Pup. Justin’s P.O.V. Hunter and Jayce mated last night and they didn’t use protection, I try to wrap my head around it as Slade flashes me images of Hunter with a baby bump. I was a little disappointed when Jayce reminded her of her studies and she told us that she was still young, so she would finish her studies first. Hell, Slade and I will become stay at home Dads if that is what it will take. Slade is jumping up and down in my head as he pictures us with a bunch of Pups running around the Palace and I know I need to tell her. “Princess, I know you want to finish your studies. If you want to have Pups soon I will stay at home to look after them while you continue with your studies.” I say and I see my Brothers stare at me, I just shrug my shoulders. “Slade and I had already discussed this before and we are serious about this, we will stay at home whenever you need us to. We will help in anyway we can to make it easier for you to combine your studies with raising our Pups.” I say and the beaming smile she gives me means the world to me. “At least now I understand why Dad needed to call home. He most have felt your internal battle on what to do.” I say as I remember Dad rushing out of my room saying that he needed to make a call, not realizing it had to do with my Mate and I wonder why he didn’t say anything. “What did you tell him?” I ask and we all laugh as she tells us. Our Mate knows how to tell the truth without actually saying anything about the subject and I hope I will never get such an encrypted answer from her. I wonder if Mom knows she can give answers like that or if Mom ever got them from her. Hunter asks me why I had discussed with Slade about staying at home to help her out and I reluctantly tell them that Slade and I had been hoping for Pups real soon, when Hunter had told Mom she wanted to become a Mother as soon as possible. “But when Jayce mentioned your studies and you decided that both, Jayce and Mom, were right Slade and I were a little disappointed. We were already looking forward to having Pups running around the Palace, Slade even told me were the nursery for the newborns would come. We both understood why you decided to wait, but we had hoped for another outcome.” I say as I keep my head down. I don’t want her to think I was mad at her, but I know she will be able to tell I wasn’t to happy to hear her say that she would wait with having Pups. Jason’s P.O.V. Logan is howling and jumping in my head as we both digest the words Hunter spoke, there is a chance she might be pregnant and neither one of us could be happier. The longer it took to find our Mate the more Logan started to complain about not having Pups. When we turned of age Logan started fantasizing about finding our Mate and having Pups as soon as it was possible. At times it annoyed the hell out of me, but most times I enjoyed imagining our Pups as much as he did and the closer we got to a Harvest Moon the worst it became. Both of us wouldn’t mind if she got pregnant and we all would know for sure that it was Jayce’s Pup, making it the next heir to the Throne. A win-win situation according to me and Logan, but I am not sure if I should say that out loud. “She is on the other end of the line, what could she do? Give you a death glare.” Logan says in my head. We both listen to Jax and Justin respond to the situation and Logan and I smile as we hear Justin explain what he and Slade had decided. “Well, they won’t be doing that alone. We will look after our Pups as well and I don’t care who the Father is.” Logan states and I suspect that we will be fighting on who gets to stay at home instead of fighting on who gets to leave. “PJ, why are you smiling?” Hunter asks and I tell her about Logan’s fantasies on having Pups, “I think that the four of us will be fighting on who gets to stay at home with the Pups and you will get fed up with it at some point, telling us all to get the hell out of the Palace.” Jax starts laughing as Justin nods his head and I see relief wash over Hunter’s face. “Princess, you know that we will do anything for you. The only thing I am not willing to do is take your classes.” I say and while Jax starts laughing even louder Hunter gives me a fake pout. “PJ, not even if I say pretty please.” She says, sending all of us into a fit of laughter. I just shake my head as I try to get myself back under control. Jayce’s P.O.V. Ever since we talked to Hunter Colt has been pacing my head and I know he hopes our Brothers agree with us. I can feel that Hunter is feeling uneasy about this and I hope the four of us can settle her nerves, Colt and I want a Pup as much as she does. Jason is right, I think the four of us will be fighting on who get to look after our Pups and who has to go on assignment for the Elders. I believe we don’t have to rely on others much by the sound of it and I can feel Hunter slowly relaxing beside me. “Okay, finish your assignments there and get home as soon as you can. Colt says it will be a few day before he can tell whether she is pregnant or not and I would like everyone to be home by then.” I say before we end the video call. Jax has a rather difficult crowd and it might take him a few more hours before he has answered all of their questions, but I hope that once that is done he and Papa can head home. Jason will have more trouble dealing with Moon Stone’s Alpha as he is related to Elder Ward, but I know that he and Pops will put them under surveillance if they are not willing to cooperate and I know Jason will not grant them all the time in the world to change their minds. Justin asked me and Hunter to look into Alpha Hank as they seemed very uncomfortable at the mention of the Succession Law and Hunter is already opening her laptop to start her investigation, she tells me that Emma and Ella are on their way to help her.
