Theresa, the Doomsday Queen

Chapter 754 Love in the Air

"Wow!" "Long live Ms. Hall!" All titles and cheers merged into one unified roar—Long live Ms. Hall and the Alliance. The crowd's roar filled the sky. Theresa raised her hand again, smiling. "Today isn't my day—it's the day of the newlyweds. Shout for the newlyweds! Let's welcome them!" The orchestra played. "Long live the newlyweds!" Couples emerged hand in hand from the red carpet and walked toward Theresa. The crowd cheered enthusiastically. Theresa spotted Tania in her fishtail gown, Eva in her off-shoulder dress, and Amelia in her princess-style gown. They smiled and waved. "Theresa." "Ms. Hall." "Best wishes!" Theresa returned each greeting with a smile, presenting the large diamonds she had chosen for them. … After distributing the rings, she opened a thin marriage certificate. "I ask all of you, from this day forward, in sickness and in health, in wealth and in poverty, in success and failure, will you remain loyal to your partner?" Her words carried through the crowd. Then, countless men and women answered in unison, "We are willing!" Theresa closed the certificate. "Then, I hereby declare you all officially married. You may now kiss your brides.""Ohhh!" "Waaah!" Bang! Bang! Bang! Cheers erupted throughout the venue. Screams, applause, and fireworks filled the air. Colorful confetti rained down as everyone watched the couples kiss in the plaza. "Wow! Mom!" "They are kissing!" The children were told to close their eyes, so Emma tried to cover each one, one by one. Elias, Lily, Kyle, and Landon each helped cover a child's eyes, too. Even David, at the following table, helped cover Yuki's eyes. Tyger looked around, saw all the children's eyes covered, and gently covered Charlotte's eyes as well. Charlotte stiffened, utterly speechless. "This is too sweet! I want to get married too!" Louisa exclaimed at the next table. "I want to get married too," Dominic added, looking at the couples with envy. "I want to, too," Liam said, resting his head on his hands. Finally, Miles stared at the couples longingly and nodded. "I want to, too." After the men at this table left, many more bachelors from the K1 Camp watched the happy couples. "When will I find a wife?" Wesley asked. "Where's my wife?" Eli asked. Graham looked at the lively wedding above and sighed. "If you could see it, you'd be jealous too." Then, the bouquets—over three hundred of them—began to be thrown into the crowd, causing everyone to scramble for a piece of it. Everyone scrambled to grab them.Eli caught the first bouquet. "Bro, I got one!" "Why are you grabbing it? You don't even have a girlfriend!" "I don't, but I can give it to Juno! Juno, this is for you!" Juno smiled at the bouquet and looked at the people around her. "Where's Harrance?" "Didn't see him." "There! He got a bouquet too!" Wesley said. Harrance had grabbed one from the crowd and run off. "What's he doing?" "Could he be looking for his wife?" James caught a bouquet and gave it to Liana. Dominic and Louisa each grabbed one. "Charlotte, what are you doing here?" Declan and Karina asked, seeing Charlotte seated at the Blazing Sun Camp. "Hmph!" She glared at her brother and turned away. Karina threw a bouquet specifically toward her. "Charlotte, catch it and get some luck." Charlotte dodged to the side, and the bouquet from her brother and sister-in-law hit Tyger squarely in the face.
