Theresa, the Doomsday Queen
Theresa had her team escort everyone to rest. She called Elias over and assigned Lily and Calvin to the Blazing Sun Camp. She was tired, yet there was something urgent she needed to clarify. "Call Professor K here for me," Theresa said as she walked toward her office. "Alright!" She needed Professor K to explain the Starborn Order's true purpose. Once inside, she collapsed into her office, completely exhausted, and waited. However, the first person to push the door open was Tania. "Terry! Where did you get the Eclipse Serum?" "What's the matter?" Theresa opened her eyes immediately as she saw Tania rushing in in a frantic state. "I've figured it out." Tania's gaze was intense and filled with both excitement and fear. "Do you know what it is?" "Yes. A highly concentrated zombie virus," Theresa replied calmly. She already knew the main component of the serum. She had even been injected with one last night. The Starborn Order had created this high-concentration zombie virus, and she had no idea why. They kept talking about evolution, but shouldn't they be focusing on ability users and creating Evoloid to strengthen humanity? Why were they wasting their time on this? That was why Theresa had hurried back today—to find Professor K and get the answers. "It's more than that!" Tania grabbed a report and handed it to Theresa, taking a deep breath. "The Eclipse Serum can significantly increase the virus concentration in infected subjects, enhance their abilities, and promote individual evolution." "So it's a serum specifically designed to evolve zombies." Theresa's eyes widened. A serum that helps zombies evolve! Her mind went blank for a moment before a flood of information hit her.Ark Camp Three had told her to join them to enter the new world. Her uncle had explained that everything the Starborn Order did was for evolution. Evolution, evolution, evolution… Then it hit Theresa—she had been completely wrong all along! Evolution isn't wrong, but the Starborn Order isn't advancing humanity's evolution. They are focused entirely on evolving zombies! That's why they created the Eclipse Serum and used it as Evoloid for their legion. And their legion is… the zombie legion! They are building a zombie realm! At that moment, someone knocked on Theresa's door. Still in shock, she saw Professor K roll into the room in his wheelchair. The moment she saw him, she teleported in front of him. "What are you doing!" Woof woofwoof! Professor K's dog barked in fright at her sudden appearance. Theresa ignored it and grabbed the sides of Professor K's wheelchair. A surge of mind power erupted from her. Everyone in the room, even the dog, felt an intense pressure that made it hard to breathe. The dog, the weakest of all, collapsed and whimpered. Professor K scowled and spat out, "Let us go!" "Not until you explain everything. I'll kill your dog myself if I have to." Theresa spoke through clenched teeth. Professor K's expression faltered when he heard his dog whimper. "Fine. I'll talk. Just let go." As soon as he spoke, the pressure lifted. The dog was terrified of Theresa. It shrank behind Professor K and whimpered. He gently patted it. "Don't be afraid. I'm here. I'll keep you safe." Theresa's eyes narrowed. "You're making all this… and you still think you can protect it?" Professor K paused. "I guess you already know most of it.""No, I know nothing! What is the Starborn Order really doing?" He sighed. "We're doing it for evolution." "Evolution my *ss! You're evolving zombies!" "That's right." Professor K faced her, his usually deep eyes now grave. "We are evolving zombies." Tania stood behind Theresa and widened her almond-shaped eyes. She froze as understanding hit her. "You're trying to create an entirely new civilization."
