Theresa, the Doomsday Queen
Theresa drew a line on the ground with the tip of her blade. "From now on, let's go our own ways. If you don't provoke us, we won't interfere with you either." As she lifted the blade, a three inch deep trench appeared between them. Looking at the line, Decision Maker Three suddenly smiled and said, "I'm starting to like you more and more. Since that's how you feel, I won't force it. Let's shake hands and call it peace." Then, he walked toward Theresa. Stopping at the trench she had drawn, he extended his hand. "As you wish." Theresa looked at his hand and slowly raised her own hand. Just as she was about to touch his palm, a flash appeared in her mind—his hand was transforming and disassembling like a machine. A mechanical arm! At that moment, Theresa withdrew her hand. Seeing that she wasn't fooled, Decision Maker Three's eyes suddenly glowed red. "Turn them all into our partners!" The moment he spoke, the man behind him, still clutching his chest, lifted his head. Almost simultaneously, countless syringes flew toward everyone behind Theresa. Seeing the syringes coming from all directions, Theresa immediately deployed an air shield, covering everyone behind her. Yet, there was a one-second defensive gap for herself. At that moment, Decision Maker Three grabbed Theresa's hand. Crack! His arm rapidly disassembled and transformed, gripping her hand tightly. Theresa reacted with lightning speed. The moment he touched her, she cut his right arm. Sizzle! Sparks flew from the collision of metal and blade.Theresa had completely severed the mechanical arm. Yet, Decision Maker Three didn't get angry. Instead, he laughed heartily. "7913, welcome to becoming our partner in the new civilized world." As he spoke, Theresa saw the mechanical arm still clutching her. In the center of the arm, a syringe appeared. Its needle pierced her palm, injecting an entire dose of Eclipse Serum into her body. "Theresa!" "Ms. Hall!" Quentin and the others rushed forward. "What did you inject into her?" Kyle shouted angrily. "That is our Starborn Order's greatest research, the Zombie Virus Evolution." "Zombies!" Everyone's eyes widened, and their breath caught in their throats. Decision Maker Three looked at them gleefully. "You should be happy for her. She is about to ascend the divine throne and become the strongest god of the new world!" A wave of despair sank over everyone just the thought of Theresa turning into a zombie. At that moment, a blade flashed from behind them. "F*ck you!" Theresa struck Decision Maker Three in the neck. Decision Maker Three didn't expect her counterattack. He hesitated for a second, then sparks erupted from his neck with a swoosh. His head and body were separated. Yet, no blood flowed—only sizzling sparks from the mechanical body. Theresa realized his entire body was mechanical. She remembered Tania telling her that many in the Starborn Order were insane. They would replace their body parts with machinery since they were disgusted with their flesh. However, she was still shocked when she saw Decision Maker Three with only a head left. She couldn't believe that someone would transform their entire body down to just a head.Decision Maker Three's head flew far away. He laughed electronically, and his red mechanical eye fixed on Theresa. His mouth opened in a countdown. "Twenty-one… Twenty… Nineteen…" "Are you counting down your own death?" Theresa stepped forward with her blade in hand. "Of course not," Decision Maker Three said eagerly. "The Eclipse Serum is the highest concentration of the zombie virus. You will mutate in one minute. I'm waiting for you to become the strongest zombie! Ten… Nine…" "Oh? Is that so?" Theresa stopped ten meters away. "I'll give you ten more seconds to live then." She smiled at him and tossed a used empty syringe. It was the Zombie Virus Inhibitor. In that split second, Decision Maker Three froze. He stared incredulously at Theresa. "7913, there is no cure for the zombie virus. You can't possibly…"
