Theresa, the Doomsday Queen

Chapter 665 A Giant's Roar

Its mouth opened wide enough to bite off half of Graham's face. Whoosh— A blade flashed. A trident stabbed directly into the soldier zombie's throat. Bang! Graham kicked the zombie's chest. As it fell, he thrust the trident upward, splitting its skull. One strike killed it—efficient and precise. This was the skill forged from killing tens of thousands of zombies. Immediately, three or four head-bobbing zombies charged. Raaah— Other operatives who had landed followed quickly, all except Theresa and Quentin. Everyone moved back-to-back, quickly dispatching the lesser zombies on the roof. Graham and the others were all battle-hardened. None had killed fewer than 10,000 zombies. Four years into the apocalypse, they had cleared Ansford, Branford, and Crestmont, over three million zombies, all through sheer skill. And importantly, without using powers—pure physical combat. Within ten minutes, they had cleared seventy to eighty scattered zombies below. Calvin, still above, gaped in shock at their professionalism. Holy crap—they are that strong? Although they hadn't officially entered the underground area, these were only low-level zombies. I've been to this place several times before. I've faced these low-level zombies countless times. Every single time, I fight until I'm half-dead, terrified the whole way, using every ounce of strength to survive. But the man in front of me… he's on another level entirely. Way too strong.Just then—Roar! At that moment, the ground shook. A massive zombie appeared seemingly from nowhere. Each step it took made the ground tremble. The giant zombie was over three meters tall, muscles tearing through its clothes, charging at the nearest building. "That's a Level 5 strength-type mutated zombie!" Calvin's pupils contracted in fear. "It's powerful." Before he finished speaking, a loud crash rang out. The building under Graham collapsed, bricks flying. The giant zombie leapt, hands clutching the roof like a beast. Its gray-white eyes glowed bloodthirstily, its mouth wide enough to bite a person's head off in one bite. Raaah— Calvin tensed completely, and the next second, his eyes widened in shock. A torrent of water shot from the palm of one person, aimed straight at the leaping zombie's mouth. Bang! The high-pressure water pierced the zombie's skull, creating a huge hole. Brains and bone fragments flew, and a gleamstone shot several meters. Boom! The giant zombie fell heavily. Its power—at least a Level 5 ability. Calvin couldn't believe his eyes as he watched the water-based ability user, Kyle. Then, Boom boomboom! Three more giant zombies emerged from a pit.Calvin witnessed dazzling fire-based abilities, volleys of metal-based attacks, spiked earth, and rapidly growing vines. Together, they possessed abilities of all five elements—metal, wood, water, fire, and earth! Holy crap! Theresa looked at the people below, raising an eyebrow. She had previously completed a reputation task, boosting the entire base's combat power twice. Thanks to her Evoloid, all operatives started at level three. Now, all operatives in her alliance started at Level 4. Graham and the others were Level 5, while Lucas, Theron, and the rest had surpassed Level 6. This power was absolutely unique globally. Even the strongest from Calvin's base were only Level 4—barely reaching the weakest in Theresa's team. Graham, Kyle, and the others quickly cleared the zombie horde below.
