Grief, Betrayals, and a Core of Blaze
How could she not know how good this man was to her? She wasn't heartless. It was so late, and who was Baron working himself to the bone for? She, Natalie, was not an unfeeling person. Yet even now, he was still being considerate of her feelings. Natalie’s eyes suddenly stung. "Baron, stop right there!" Natalie suddenly ordered in a low voice. Baron didn't know why she was angry, but he obediently froze in place. "Honey, I didn't mean to come back so late, I was just…" Before Baron could finish, Natalie ran over and threw her arms around him. Baron froze, instinctively about to pull away, but Natalie held him tight. "Don't move! Just let me hold you!" Baron’s body immediately stiffened. "I smell. It'll bother you." He didn't want Natalie to smell the stench of blood on him. To him, Natalie was like an angel who had accidentally wandered into the mortal realm, while he was always lingering at the evil gates of hell. She was so wonderful, so clean. How could he let the stench of blood from his world taint her? Baron had always felt that his marriage to Natalie was a stroke of pure luck. It was a matter of necessity for her, her settling for second best, her repaying a debt. If he wasn't the Witch Doctor, if he hadn't saved her, their lives would have been parallel lines, never destined to cross. Just as Baron’s mind was racing, Natalie suddenly stood on her toes, and her warm lips pressed against his cool, thin ones. It was as light as a dragonfly skimming the water, yet it was like a spark that instantly ignited the prairie fire in Baron’s heart… Baron fiercely hauled Natalie into his arms, cupping the back of her head with one hand. He instantly seized the initiative, his scorching kiss threatening to consume her entirely.Baron had always held back, afraid of scaring her, but tonight, he had lost some of his composure. He didn't know if he'd been provoked by James or something else, but right now, Baron felt incredibly insecure. He desperately wanted to melt her into his very bones. Natalie could also feel Baron’s intensity and his anxiety. She didn't know what he had been through or why he was like this, but this version of Baron made her heart race, made her ache for him. Natalie subconsciously began to kiss him back. Baron was already on the edge of madness. Feeling Natalie's response, he could no longer hold back. He swept her up into his arms and kissed her passionately all the way to the bedroom. Flynn had heard the noise and was about to come out and look, only to be met with such a stimulating scene. He felt like his eyes had been blinded. That bastard Baron, did he think they were the only two people in the villa? Flynn carefully closed his door, but his heart was pounding. Was this kind of thing between a man and a woman always so intense? He suddenly felt a little lonely. Maybe he really should find a girlfriend. Baron had no idea Flynn had seen them, and even if he had, he wouldn't have cared. He kicked the bedroom door open while holding Natalie, pressing her against the wall. His hot, domineering kisses assaulted her senses without pause. Natalie was about to faint from his kisses, completely unaware of where Baron had taken her. She could only feel the coolness of the wall behind her, while the man in front of her was so hot she wanted to escape. This jarring contrast of ice and fire sent all her senses into overdrive. She found that every part of her body had seemingly become an erogenous zone. "Baron, don't…" she instinctively tried to protest, though she didn't know what she was protesting. It was just a low murmur… Baron's eyes were bloodshot."Good girl. Call me honey. Say it once, and I'll give you my life." Baron's voice was hoarse, his eyes filled with a barely contained storm. Natalie was already flushed with heat. She whispered softly, "Honey." Baron’s body seized, and he almost lost control right then and there. "Say it again…" "Honey…" Natalie called his name, one sound after another, as if she were tugging on Baron's very soul. He could no longer hold back. He tore her clothes to shreds and impatiently began to claim his rights as her husband. Natalie had never seen such a frantic, wild Baron. She didn't know what had provoked him, but at this moment, she didn't want to think about it. She found that she seemed to really like this side of Baron. Wild, uninhibited, arrogant, with an earth-shattering dominance that completely enveloped her.
