"Corvin, look what you did to Coalball!" Corvin still had black feathers stuck to his mouth. Seeing her angry again, he tried to hide them by tucking his head in. Lucien only realized how bald he was after Emma scooped him up. His fiery feathers had been burned away in the explosion, and this black layer was supposed to tide him over until new feathers grew. However, thanks to Corvin, he was left totally exposed. Being a prince of the Empire, having to be half-naked in front of a female was humiliating.
