The Cherished Pet of Nine Beast Husbands
"Everything that should be covered is covered," Silas said. Corvin and Edric stared at him, rendered utterly speechless. Sure, the important bits were covered, but what about everything else? Silas didn't even flinch under their increasing agitation as he continued calmly, "Emy gave this to me and… she asked me to wear it." Honestly, he wouldn't be in this predicament if it weren't for the unusual energy he'd sensed earlier. So, he truly hadn't expected to bump into Corvin and Edric looking like this. He wasn't crazy. He didn't want anyone to see him looking like this either. After all, he was wearing a matching set of pajamas with Emy. This pajama had their alone time stamped all over it. "What?" Corvin stared at him, completely flabbergasted. "Are you seriously trying to tell me that Emma gave you that?" There was no way that was possible. "I don't believe you. Not one bit." Corvin shook his head firmly. "Emma is a proper female. She's always dressed like a lady. She'd never give you something like that. This outfit screams you. Besides, it's an open secret that your closet is filled with those clothes." Corvin was convinced that Silas had bought this and was trying to frame Emma so he wouldn't be caught looking like a complete hooligan. So, Corvin wasn't about to believe a single word coming out of his d*mned mouth. On the other hand, Edric glanced at Silas before looking away somewhat guiltily. He believed Silas. That was because Emma had… given him something similar in the past. Silas saw that look and told Corvin, "Since you find it so hard to believe, you can ask Emy yourself once she wakes up." "Fine! I'll do just that. I'll ask her when she wakes up."He knew Emma wasn't awake yet, so he wasn't going to barge in there. Thus, he decided to wait right here. Silas looked at him before glancing at the time on his lightcore and said, "It's getting late. Corvin, why don't you and Edric cook some breakfast for Emy? I'll text you once she wakes up, and you can ask her yourself." Edric turned to Corvin and said, "Corvin, let's go. Let's cook breakfast for Emma. You don't want her to wake up hungry, do you?" He wasn't helping Silas. He just had a similar experience and knew that Emma had probably given Silas a matching set of pajamas. As a result, she was probably wearing something similar right now. Emma was bold when she was alone with one of them. However, she would retreat back to her shell once it got crowded. Edric was worried that Corvin would storm inside the room once he noticed that Emma was up. It would be awkward for all of them if Emma didn't have enough time to change out of her lingerie. Emma would probably explode from embarrassment. Corvin turned to the slightly ajar door before nodding his head reluctantly. "Fine." Emma's health was more important than some pajamas. Besides, he could always ask her about it later. If what Silas said was true, then… then he definitely deserved a pajama like that too! Then again, he probably didn't need to beg for a similar pajama. Emma had always been a fair female. Since Silas had one, it also meant that Emma probably had one for him, too. After Edric and Corvin left, Silas quietly slipped back into the room. Emma was on the bed, her breath even as she continued to feign sleep. The door gently clicked shut. Silas approached the bed and watched her for a while before climbing under the covers.Suddenly, Emma's eyes snapped wide open. "Emy, you're awake!" She looked like she was still groggy from sleep as she mumbled, "Silas, why are you standing?" She lifted a hand and curled her finger at him. Emy's acting skills are getting better. Silas bit back a smile as he leaned in. "What is it, Emy?" Emma sprang up and locked her arm around his neck. His eyes widened with shock. He thought she wanted to surprise him with a kiss. Alas, he was now caught in a chokehold. "Emy, is this a new training technique? Are you using me as your training tool today?" Silas didn't bother struggling as he looked at her indulgently. "Isn't this position a little awkward for you? Should we switch to another position?" "Shut up."Emma bit his ear. Silas let out a muffled groan, his long fingers instantly gripping the sheets. "Emy, don't… I'm sorry." The sun was barely peeking out from the clouds right now. It was too early for him to handle something this stimulating. "And why are you apologizing?" Emma glared at him. Silas whispered, "I shouldn't have let Edric and Corvin see me like this." He'd known that she was up the second her eyes fluttered open. However, he didn't expose her right away, preferring to play along. "You knew, and you still went out dressed like that?" she hissed in equal parts of frustration and embarrassment. Emma was impressed. No, she was in awe of his shamelessness. How was he even real? "Emy, you really misunderstood me this time. I didn't mean to go out like this. I'm not a voyeur." Then, he explained, "I sensed an abnormal energy fluctuation outside earlier, so I went out to check things out. I truly didn't expect to run into Edric and Corvin." "An abnormal energy fluctuation?" Emma released him as she looked at him solemnly, "What happened?" "A few Chitnid probably snuck in. It wasn't a major fluctuation, so there shouldn't be many of them."
