The Cherished Pet of Nine Beast Husbands
Silas buried his face in the crook of her neck, breathing her in. His voice sounded hoarse and weepy as he pleaded, "More please…" Knock. Knock. Knock. Silas stiffened when he heard someone rapping against the door. The passion in his eyes cooled instantly, replaced by irritation and displeasure at being interrupted. Just who was it? Why did they have such fantastic timing to knock on the door right now? Silas hadn't had enough, not even close. So, he tightened his arms around Emma as he continued to beg, "Emy, I also want marks like the ones you made on Lucien… Won't you reward me too?" Emma prayed for patience. Silas, someone is literally knocking on the door right now, and you're here asking for a reward? You might be fine living without shame, but I certainly can't!So, she shoved Silas away and glared at him. "Maybe some other time. Go freshen up. I'm going to open the door." "No!" Silas grabbed her wrist as he looked at her with his big blue eyes. "Emy, don't open the door." His fingers tightened around her wrist as he clung to her. "Just break the rules for me once. Please?" He lowered his head and brushed his cheek against the back of her hand, nuzzling it gently. "This is my only chance. I'll have to wait for another three years once Remy wakes up." He wasn't talking about three days or three months. It was three years. Three. Godforsaken. Years. "Emy, please. I won't be able to last that long." Emma couldn't bring herself to push him away when he was being so pathetic. Fine. He had chosen to go through the walk of shame later, so that was what he was going to get.So, she pushed Silas on the bed, yanked his collar wide open, and bit down on his collarbone. Just then, they heard the door click. Marcus was standing beyond the door and was promptly greeted by their shameless display. So, he immediately took one big step away from the room and closed the door with a quiet thump. Freaking Silas and his inhuman speed for a plant etherian! Emma wasn't doing too hot inside the confines of her room. Her face was not cooling off any time soon after Marcus walked in on them like that. She stared at the fresh hickey on Silas' collarbone and shot him a fierce glare. "Are you happy now?" Marcus had definitely seen everything there was to see earlier. Emma wanted to throw herself out of the window and hopefully land right in the crust of the earth. Silas felt the slightly wet bruise on his collarbone as he beamed at her and nodded happily. "Thank you, Emy."Honestly, he wasn't all that satisfied. Still, he knew his limits and that Emma would definitely blow a gasket if he pushed his luck. To be fair, he had no other choice. He had to take care of Remy while everyone could enjoy themselves. It wouldn't even matter if Remy didn't wake tonight because he still wouldn't be able to participate anyway. Silas reached out and quickly straightened Emma's clothing. Then, he adjusted his own. Knock! Knock! Knock! Marcus knocked on the door after a while before his muffled voice came through the door, saying, "Ms. Tibarn, may I come in?" Emma gave herself a final check. Once she was certain that she looked presentable enough, she said toward the door, "Come in." The door swung open. Marcus promptly strode in with a blanket. His eyes landed on the mark on Silas' collarbone the instant he entered. He cursed internally, Shameless b*stard. It was already bad enough that he was being such a clingy brat, but now he had even the audacity to show that off? Hmph! Silas didn't care that Marcus was angry. He was busy being confused when his eyes landed on the blanket in Marcus' arms. "Marcus, why do you have a blanket with you?" Would they even have the chance to use one before Remy woke up? A blanket seemed unnecessary. Marcus shot him a dead-eyed look. "To sleep." Sleep? Silas, who had always prided himself on his intelligence, could only stare at him blankly. There was already a perfectly good blanket on the bed, so why was he bringing his own blanket to Emma's room? Marcus ignored him and flung his blanket on the floor near the sofa. Silas could only continue to watch in stunned silence as Marcus busied himself by laying out the blanket and then collapsing onto it like an overgrown wolf. That was when he finally understood what was happening. Silas turned to look at Emma, utterly aghast. "Emy, please don't tell me you actually invited us over just to watch over Remy." He hadn't been there when they'd first had a sleepover. Part of him couldn't help but sigh in relief that he wasn't the only one who'd mistakenly assumed the nature of their bedsharing. It looks like Lucien and I have really been overthinking things. "Yes." Emma nodded matter-of-factly. "Of course. I told you, didn't I? We're keeping vigil over Remy." They were the ones with dirty thoughts. She was innocent of any misunderstandings of any sort. She had expected Callum and even Lucien to misunderstand. But Silas? She really had assumed that he understood what she had written in the sand. It turned out he was as much a filthy pervert as the rest, regardless of his intellect. She really should've seen that coming. Silas: "…" Knock! Knock! Knock! Someone knocked at the door once more. Emma made herself comfortable on the couch as she called out, "Come in." The door promptly swung open, and in came Edric with his own blanket. The next second, he smoothly made his way to the couch and laid his bedding on the other side of the furniture with practised ease. Silas could only stare, not knowing what to say or how to react. Marcus knew that they were sleeping tonight, and so did Edric? Silas felt like he'd really missed a memo.Soon, Kieran arrived as well… and he was holding a fish tank. "Ms. Tibarn, can I sleep in here tonight?"
