Cruel Kiss

Chapter 4: No Dignity

As Lin Yin descended the stairs, the luxurious car was still parked outside, with Qin Ke leaning against the front of the vehicle, waiting for her. He was fiddling with a lighter in his hand. Seeing Lin Yin finally come down, he raised an eyebrow and pocketed his lighter. "Get in the car," Qin Ke said indifferently, then took the lead to sit inside. The driver placed Lin Yin's luggage in the trunk. Qin Ke watched her, standing there with her head bowed, and ultimately couldn't help but turn back to look in the direction of her home. As she turned her head, tears fell like rain, and she sat down beside Qin Ke. "Don't make it seem like such a farewell. I never said you couldn't go home to visit your irresponsible uncle."

Seeing her like this, Qin Ke suddenly spoke these words, not even he knew why he felt somewhat heartache. He had no idea that what Lin Yin was grieving about was not the fear of not having the chance to come back in the future. Her uncle was her only relative, and over the years, she had never felt aggrieved about the hardships she had endured for this family, because she had only one goal in mind: to save enough money to treat her uncle's illness. She had no friends, had never been in a relationship, like a money-making machine. However, when this day finally arrived, the ending that awaited her was such. When this man said that he wanted her uncle to sell her to him, he didn't hesitate at all, she could even clearly see a look of relief in his eyes. It turned out that in her uncle's heart, she was supposed to be a machine, without feelings, only value. Qin Ke looked at her, leaning lazily against the back seat: 'Or are you surprised by this ending? Then you can only blame yourself for being foolish, not understanding what a gambler is!' 'What I'm thinking now has nothing to do with you, and whatever ending I come to has nothing to do with you either,' Lin Yin said in a muffled voice, but her tone was inevitably a bit petulant, and there was also dislike for Qin Ke, 'I'm already here now, you don't need to mock me any more.'

Qin Ke let out a cold snort and remained silent. This woman had quite the nerve; it was the first time someone had dared to speak to her in such a tone. Although the car was spacious enough, it was her first time being so close to a man, especially this demon-like man. Lin Yin had shrunk herself against the window as much as possible, yet she still felt his presence lingering in her breath. Seeing her discomfort, Qin Ke's lips curled with a hint of amusement: 'Are you afraid? Of me?' Lin Yin didn't turn her head, just rolled down the car window. The sudden rush of air finally allowed her to breathe easier. He was right; she was indeed afraid of him. His whole being exuded an aura of ferocity, as if he inherently possessed the ability to oppress others. Yet, he was also as captivating as a demon, easily capturing one's gaze and heartstrings. Suddenly, Qin Ke leaned in close, and Lin Yin pressed herself tightly against the window: 'What do you want to do?' In fact, he merely intended to close the window. Her face was very red, though it was unclear whether it was from the cold wind or embarrassment. Coupled with her sudden bristling like a hedgehog, it sparked his playful interest. 'Whatever you think I'm thinking, that's what it is,' he said, his fingertips brushing over her delicate, jade-like cheek. Her bright eyes now held the fear of a deer, which tugged at one's heartstrings. Qin Ke spoke in a deep voice, 'You are mine now. Do you have the right to say no to whatever I want to do?'

Lin Yin pushed him away forcefully, and Qin Ke's eyes suddenly darkened. Lin Yin's heart also tightened: 'I'm just working to pay off debts, which doesn't include doing things I don't want to do, Mr. Qin, I hope you keep your word!' Qin Ke sneered coldly, his hand sliding down her back to her waist, then gripping tightly. Lin Yin's whole body was almost pressed against Qin Ke, their breaths intertwining for a moment. She cried out in fear, trying to retreat, but to no avail, and quickly turned her head away, closing her eyes tightly. 'What makes you think that the money you earn from working can pay off my five million? Are you really that naive? Or do you overestimate your abilities? I'm not a philanthropist, what I'm talking about is a matter of interest. Of course, there are shortcuts to making money. If you want freedom, I can certainly show you a clear path.' At this moment, the car stopped, and Lin Yin slowly opened her eyes. As she saw clearly where they had stopped, her eyes immediately reddened, and she cried out in pleading: 'Mr. Qin, I promise you, I will earn enough money in the shortest time, I beg you, don't sell me to such a place.' Qin Ke's lips curled coldly: 'Very good, this is the attitude that a person who owes me money should have.' He reached out to pinch Lin Yin's chin, 'Also, I don't like it when people try to challenge my bottom line. When you speak to me, it's best to remember your place!'

After Qin Ke finished speaking, he opened the car door and got out. When the driver went to open Lin Yin's door, he found that she was holding on tightly inside, unwilling to let go. She looked at Qin Ke with a desolate and desperate look in her eyes. At this moment, she could only think of turning to this devil-like man for help. Qin Ke smiled sinisterly and said indifferently, 'I'll give you three seconds to think it over. Get out of the car, or I'll chop off your hand and throw it into the pool. Oh, let me explain what a pool is.' Qin Ke leaned down and smiled, but Lin Yin could feel the taste of bloodlust in his smile, 'Those men probably haven't played with a beauty without hands, have they?' Lin Yin's face turned pale in an instant, and her hand involuntarily loosened. She knew he wasn't lying to her; if he said he could do it, he definitely would. And she didn't dare to challenge his bottom line anymore. The driver dragged Lin Yin straight out from the back seat. She collapsed on the ground in a somewhat disheveled state, feeling a burning pain in her palms. Tears involuntarily flowed down, but she quickly wiped them away. Crying in front of such a man would only increase his mockery of her. She had now fallen to the point where she was sold by her own relatives, and now she was about to be passed on by Qin Ke. What right did she have left to talk about dignity? Involuntarily, she looked up again at the golden signboard of the club in front of her. It was a place of luxury and indulgence in Nanhai City, a paradise for men. And here, as long as you were willing to sell your soul, you could indeed quickly pay off the debt to Qin Ke. Qin Ke watched her coldly, seeing Lin Yin slowly stand up from the ground, her eyes filled with determination. He smiled, 'Come in with me.' Lin Yin followed him with a numb expression, and from then on, the former her could never return...
