In the kindergarten, a lady dressed in branded clothes held a boy's hand as she shouted fiercely at Janice. There were even two bodyguards standing behind her, and she was obviously someone from the upper class. When passersby recognized the lady's face, they quickly moved away from her. She was Selena Murphy, the head of the Murphy Family's younger sister. Selena scolded, "How exactly do you raise your daughter, Janice?! Look at what she did to my darling Jared's face!" Janice looked down at the boy to find several light scratches on Jared Murphy's face. The woman's pretty face was icy as she said coldly, "Please watch your words, Mrs. Murphy. Your son was the one who started it, and he scratched my daughter as well." Denise timidly hid behind Janice, her large dark eyes glistening with tears. The red marks on her face were especially pitiful."My son doesn't hit anybody without reason." Selena sneered and added, "Even if my son was the one who started it, your daughter probably deserved it!" As soon as Selena finished talking, the expression on Janice's pretty face instantly turned colder. "Mrs. Murphy, can't you be more reasonable?" "Reasonable?" Selena raised her voice in anger. "How dare a wretch like you call me unreasonable!" "Don't insult my mother! You're the wretch here!" While hiding behind Janice, Denise instantly shouted in childlike fury. "You little mutt! Bring her here!" Selena instantly shouted as she pointed at Denise. "I'll slap your face silly!" Meanwhile, Janice's expression shifted drastically. She turned around and shielded Denise with her arms. The two bodyguards behind Selena didn't say another word as they went for Denise, who hid behind her mother. Bang! Bang! Janice had her back to the crowd as she held Denise tightly. Suddenly, she heard two crashes.Contrary to what she had expected, no bodyguards came to grab her. She turned around and caught sight of the figure standing behind her. Rays of light spilled on the person's silhouette, giving off a halo-effect. In Janice's eyes, that person was strong and big beyond comparison. At the same time, a bone-chilling voice sounded in her ears. It wasn't loud, but it completely shook the depths of Janice's heart. "How dare someone from the Murphys touch my wife and child!"
