Pulled To You: The Billionaire's Second Wife

Chapter 56

Vanessa glanced at both men in awe. She frowned her face at Jasper. "What are you doing here Jasper?" Jasper turned to take a good look at her. He licked his lips as his eyes scanned her body. Starting from her well, styled hair down to her shoes. She was wearing a denim pair of jeans which hugged her accentuated curves and a white, tiny straps top which made her bust attractive. Xavier couldn't stop looking at her too. He swallowed a lump of saliva. He couldn't move. Her beauty was astonishing. They couldn't keep their eyes off her. On the other side, Nessa was waiting for him to talk. She held the food bag tightly. She looked between the two men, confused as to whether to talk or not. She wondered why they kept staring at her like they had seen a ghost. She cleared her throat and blinked her lashes. Xavier's eyes lingered around her red, plump lips. He kept imagining what her lips could do to how dick. He shakes his head and waved the dirty fantasies off his mind. Jasper's eyes roamed around her breast. Thinking about how he would wrap his mouth around it. At one point, Nessa got scared and shifted back but then she summoned courage and she made noise with the visitor's chair. They got back to their senses. She rolled her eyes. "I asked you what you are doing here. Jasper?" She glared at him. "It's nothing important." Xavier and Jasper said together making her confused. She furrowed her eyebrows suspiciously. She knew something wasn't right with the both of them not talking when she heard Jasper saying that Xavier should fire her. She looked at the other side and slammed her palm on her forehead. Xavier shoved his hands in his pocket and stared at Jasper still wondering what he was doing in his office. He cleared his throat and faced him. Anger boiled in him when he saw the way Jasper was salivating over Vanessa's body. "You will never be able to get closer to her you pathetic fool." He thought in his mind. "You can leave now Mr. Turner," Xavier said referring to Jasper. Vanessa turned to him. "No. He can't leave yet. He has to tell me what he is doing here. How do you know his office? You don't have to keep mute." Vanessa said to them. Jasper gulped down and looked at her. "It's nothing serious. I came looking for you here. Remember our date?" He said smiling. Nessa sighed. "Yes. But how do you know where I work? And why are you telling Sir Xavier to fire me?" She asked in to hope to get an answer. Her heart hammering against her chest. Like why does he have to be so cruel? Even though her bakery could earn her thousands, she still does not think that gave Jasper the right to tell Xavier to fire her. That's cruel! "I didn't say so." Jasper denied. "Of course you did. I heard you loud and clear. You said he should sack me because I have a nice business. Don't you think that is wrong? Itching to get to see other people's downfall?" Nessa told him. "No. That isn't what I said. I said he should stop bothering you. At least he has Lilian to take care of his kids. He should leave you alone." Jasper said. "It's the same thing, Mr. Turner. We are both saying the same thing. How can you come here and try to destroy their relationship and you are lying you came to see me? Isn't that wicked?" She said not knowing what was rooting in Jasper's mind. All he wanted was Vanessa nobody else. Not even Lilian. Xavier still couldn't understand why Vanessa was trying to protect his relationship with Lilian. Not knowing it won't work. Her secrets are already out. Lilian cheated on him with Jasper and that was it. Right at that moment, he knew Vanessa was the right one for him. Not Lilian. The only thing he thought of Lilian was that she was a whore. Xavier doesn't want to think he and Jasper were fucking the same pussy. He hated to think of it. It disgusts and irritates him. "Fine. I am sorry if that made you mad. But it is still the truth anyways. Nothing but the truth. I mean you have your bakery where you can make thousands, millions in a week if not a month. You can take care of yourself. You don't need them in your life. You don't..." Vanessa didn't allow him to finish talking. He cuts him off. "Me working with them isn't your concern. It's none of your business either. Now leave and don't you ever come back here." Vanessa said trying all she could to suppress her anger. But the more she sees his face, the more the anger throbbed in her heart. She waited still thinking he would leave but he didn't even budge. "You heard what I said, Jasper. I said get out." She seethed clenching her jeans tightly. Xavier couldn't help but watch them. He could see the way she was filled with rage. Maybe it was time for him to leave. "Yes, Mr. Turner. You heard what she said. She said you should leave." Xavier told him. Anger rippled through Jasper as he walked over to Xavier almost throwing punches at him. But Xavier dodged it without wasting time. "No. Stop. I told you to leave." Vanessa said moving closer to them. She pulled his hand and tried making him leave but instead he yanked his arms away and gripped her shoulders. Xavier frowned and headed to where they are standing. Vanessa groaned in pain as Jasper tightened his hold on her shoulder. "Get your hands off me. You are hurting me. Stop." "No, I won't. You said we were going on a date. It's today. Let's go." He said and left her shoulder. He grabbed her wrist. But Nessa shouted. "Leave me alone. I am not going with you." Vanessa said and hijacked her hand from him. "What?" Jasper gasped
