You Were Warned
*Master* I spotted Merna in the throne room bent over picking up something off of the floor. On hearing my footsteps she turned her head, “you're here!” She said with a smile. I told Merna about the apple that Ashur had given me. “Your sight is getting stronger!” I strolled over to my throne and sat down on it. “Tell me what you see?” Merna gave me a perverted grin, “I see many things … being more specific in your questions would be best!” There was no denying it, both Merna and I were physically attracted to each other. And when she wanted to be I found her company appealing. I gave her a coy grin. “I know … it has to be the red hair!” Merna lifted her single braid in the air to show me. As much as I wanted to continue with this little game of hers, I wanted to know the movement of my siblings. I let out a low growl, “What is the movement of my … siblings?” I visibly saw Merna wiggle to gain control just as fast. Merna placed what papers were in her hands down on the table and strolled over to me. “I do not know everything!” She informed me. “What I can say is that most of your siblings have been spending a great deal of time in one location. Their footsteps seldom move but the movement of their serfs is what I find interesting. There is a lot of hustling! What they are speaking of, I do not know.” Merna glared at the apple, “I know that this is an apple, but I can’t help but feel like it is a worm. I can feel wiggling on my skin. The skin of the apple is slimy as well!” “That is because one of their top mages have worked on this apple ment for you. You are holding a worm that is poisoned!” I thought about what Merna had told me. As of far, Merna has been correct on the goings on here. She has yet to displease me. “Where are the serfs going?” Merna’s eyes started to glow a brilliant emerald, “The Earth realm!” I could tell she was gathering more information. “Most of the movement is on the Western continents, though there is movement in the Eastern as well.” “That is not out of the norm!” Moving around the realms is something we do frequently. “Crossing territories and taking with them human borns!” Merna paused, “I am seeing things in real time, not past nor future … like I am watching this girl being hit over the head and a male serf taking her through a portal.” Merna stopped talking, “based on her clothing … hot climate, possible Mexico region … she is in her late twenties … on the serfs back I can see a symbol. Lighting bolt!” We all have a symbol that is attached to our realms, all of our property carries this symbol so we know who they belong to. Only if the Master of the property doesn’t brand them do we have to interrogate who they belong to. Lately, my siblings have not been marking what is theirs. “Mannel!” I muttered as I waited for Merna to continue to speak. I thought about it for a bit while tapping my fingers on the arm of my chair. “How many human borns have they taken?” Merna’s eyes started to change from emerald to a blue glow, “For every one hundred births, there is a death. If there are roughly three hundred eighty- five thousand births, that means there are about three thousand, eight hundred and fifty natural deaths that they are collecting. If … if my numbers are correct and my eyes are correct … wait one second!” h I could hear what Merna was listening to. Tiny little voices chattering nonsense. ‘Yes, I understand!’ Soon the chattering stopped and the connection was completed. “The children of the land said that your siblings are breaching the laws.” Merna glanced at the apple and dropped it to the floor, “they also told me there is a large war that is coming.” I am well aware of my siblings' tactics. If they are building up to dethrone me, it is going to be an ugly war. Something that Merna and my offspring have yet to see. “Did they?” “They showed me a large storm cloud that is coming. The distance from where I stood was how long I had until the fighting began.” Merna had spoken with her head held down. “This is not the first time I have seen what they showed me. I saw this about a year before I came here!” I knew the laws, but before I could approach the grand council I needed the proof before they would see me. “I would need more than your say and hypothetical theory to bring this to the grand council. What proof do you have of such things happening?” Merna appeared confused, “I did not know that you had a grand council! Regardless … I do not! As you said it is only a theory … at least until proven a fact.” Merna shrugged her shoulders, “if what I saw is true … it doesn’t matter if you approach the grand council or not, the war is coming.” Merna paused to catch her breath, “Pappavar and Mannel haven’t declared it but they are going to wagger war on you. They will do a sneak attack, hoping to cripple you.” “I will have to get in contact with the other sources to see if they have found any suspicious movement or leak of movement.” I finished off as Kuyida and Ashur strolled into the throne room. With my hand, I motioned them to come closer. I waited until my sons were closer, “anything out of the spy?” Ashur appeared perplexed, “even after my handy work, she would not speak!” “That is because she was compelled not to speak. Even if she wanted to, she could not! This is the price she will pay for getting caught.” Merna added her insight into the conversation. Kuyida directed his attention to Merna, “why is she still here?” “Hold your tongue boy! Do not forget your place!” I stood up, “did you hear me dismiss Merna?”“My apologies, father!” Kuydia lowered his head in submission but not before he gave Merna one last nasty glare. Merna kept her composure as she spoke, “I have other tasks that need to be completed. I will leave you three to continue your conversation.” Merna gave me a quick nod of the head and turned towards the exit. Merna only took a few steps, “You will stay! I need your sight!” I ordered Merna. Merna stopped moving her feet, “I thought I told you that my sight is faulty! Even my remote viewing has never been tested for accuracy! Hence everything that I told you is only a theory until proven to be fact!” She made her point as she turned around to face me once again. “No more than a hypothesis based on the knowledge that I have and possible statistics, you need more than a possibility right now everything … it is pointless! You need to work with what you have to acquire the outcome of your desire!.” “I believe you downplay your abilities … why you do this I can not fathom, but you are still staying. So far, you have been accurate enough for me!” I narrowed my eyes daring Merna to challenge me further. Ashur was grinning from ear to ear, while Kuydia was making noises of discussion. “You are staying!” I said each word as if each word was its sentence. I then looked directly at my sons, “Report!” Ashur took one step forward. “From the information that I gathered from Tizqar … they are after your pet, as you already know! They believe Merna is the key to your downfall. As well they are planning on using the stolen human borns powers and forcing you to your knees.” Ashur glared at Merna with concern, “Mannel believes that Merna is the key to making that happen!” The three of us turned our heads when Merna let out a snicker, “that will never happen!” She commented. “Tizqar also informed us that there are more members of our bloodline that want to see you relocated back to the abyss … permanently!” Ashur continued after Merna’s rude interruption. “I suggest we attack while they are gathering up resources.” “If I may?” Merna stepped forward. I motioned my hand to let her know that she could continue. “Chaos … your sisters are planning another gathering are they not?” She inquired. This was information none of them knew about since I discarded the invite into the flames. “They did!” I raised a brow, “What is your point?” I said in a low tone. “One bit of information I am sure that mother did not tell you.” She smirked at me, “as long as I am unharmed … as long as you provide the basics … as long as the punishment fits the action … as long as I do not give myself to you … mother protects me. So …” Merna paused, causing my patience level to drop. “Even if they get their hands on me and shove the food down my throat … I still will never be under their control! Free will!” Merna took a deep breath in, “Even if, say you or one of your siblings should break the surface of my skin, causing me to bleed … I can respond in a manner to my desire and attack!” Kudiya started to laugh viciously, “what can one little hybrid do that we can not?” “The rules are slightly different for me … you see … since there is a video recording of my birth as a human born … you know the thing that you like to call me all the time. The rules you follow do not include human borns because we are worthless! Not once were human borns brought into the agreement that was signed among the elites!” Merna displayed a vile grin, “As long as I do not eat a damn thing … as long as I am still considered a human born hybrid … the agreement that was signed does not apply to me. My creator only asks for one thing … I must be attacked first.” My son crossed his arms in front of his chest, puffing it out. “Are you not Pirapancam’s creation?” Kudiya questioned Merna. Merna could not suppress her laughter, “My siblings and I are … created differently!” “WAIT?” Ashur yelled, “there are more of you?” He appeared as shocked as myself. Merna bobbed her head up and down, “There are one million of us and growing … scattered between the realms.” Merna returned her vile smile, “mother is not happy at the moment and is wanting the balance to return.” Joining my fingertips, “I will be having a nice little chat with your mother soon enough. What was your point Merna? I am losing all patience!” Placing her hand on my arm, I could feel my anger slipping. “Ah yes my point!” Merna snapped her fingers. “My point is … if one of your siblings or their serfs should make me bleed, I am within my rights to defend myself at all cost. I just need to place myself in a situation that would … allow me to … explode … or something like that!” “You do not make any sense, what are you saying?” Kudiya did not seem impressed. “I told you, I am different! To make a long story short … each of us has our own nature!” Merna pointed at me, “Chaos is of dark matter!” Merna pointed at herself, “influence over life and death. Anything else that I learn between A and Z, that is just a skill and not my nature.” Merna pointed at me again, “it is no different than you acquiring strength from all sources of energy, big or small, than manipulating it to your will.” I pinched the bridge of my nose, starting to get frustrated with Merna, “you didn’t think to tell me this before?” Again Merna placed her hand on my arm, “As I told you before, what skills I know of were manifesting to a new height and there are things that I do not even know about myself. It is not like my mother is a chatty individual. She loves to tell me I am on a need to know basis, frustrating!” I inhaled deeply, “she will only answer if you ask the right questions?” Understanding what she was talking about. Merna placed her hands on her hips, “Yep and I find it irritating! I wish she was more direct. Most of the information I have gathered is from dreams … then I will go and speak with her to figure out what is true and what is imaginary!” “What should we do?” Ashur was getting bored of this conversation quickly. Merna took a breath in again, “back to my point! I keep on getting sidetracked … I am going to piss off the female with all of the gold rings on her fingers. It will hurt when she backhands me for my insolence, but it will be worth it!” Merna started to giggle with the thoughts in her mind. “With that blood I will start working on ruining everything that is around them. Think of it as a form of a virus that will eat away at all of their power. Since it is blood magic, only I can break it!” My son was starting to behave like a child. “Father?” Kudiya spoke up. A wicked grin spread across my face, “I want to see what powers my little red head has. While this is going on … anyone that trespasses … Ashur you know what to do, but make sure they do not die.” “Does this mean war?” Kudiya started to sound enthusiastic. “Yes! They have forgotten who rules, it is time they are given a reminder.” I locked my eyes on Merna, ‘my room!’ “You may go now Merna!” “What about the grand council?” Merna asked with her head tilted and her hands on her hips. I started to laugh dryly, “I will deal with them later. See when my sister, Pappavar strikes you, she is going after my property … regardless if you have eaten or not.” I lowered the tone dangerously low, “no one messes with what is mine … they know the laws!” Merna was getting ready to leave, “I love learning new things each day!” There was a little hope in Merna’s steps that made my organs twitch. ‘do not forget my room!’ I could hear Merna’s voice bouncing around in my head. ‘I need to bathe first! But most of all I want to finish the tasks first! Then I will run to your room!’ Once Merna had left the location, “father, do you think we can trust anything that Pirapancam has created?” Kudiya was questioning the one that I trusted above all. My eyes started to glow red, “Merna is a bleeding heart, everything she does is led from her emotions. Yet!” I glared at my sons, “she is knowledgeable, and has proven to be skillful … she is endangered and doesn’t comprehend the danger she is in!”Ashur was also glaring at Merna as she left. “I will keep a close eye on her father, it is the honest ones that we have to fear, they have the habit of doing irrational actions.” Ashur said. His nature was slipping out as pre-normal when he did not like something. “I do not trust her, we have to be careful!” Kudiya added. I was not about to tell my sons what Merna meant to me. Even if Merna didn’t fully understand what was going on, I knew she could feel something. “She is very powerful, I can smell it every time we are together.” I started, “She has the skills to be a seer, manipulator of energy and has influences over life and can cause individuals to die. My sister went to great existence with this creation.” I stood up from my spot, “I am going to see Pirapancam, she has a lot to answer for!”
