You Were Warned

Chapter 63 Merna

Merna The sound of crackling fire brought me back to my current situation. The dancing of flames bounced off the walls in the room I was placed in. Confusion took over my senses until I heard the Master's voice. “You talk a lot when you are sleeping!” His tone was low. “I have been told that!” I said sleepily. “Are you hungry?” I could smell the food that Chaos was offering me. I was about to take what he was offering until I snapped fully awake, “I am doing fine!” remembering the food was a trick. He started to chuckle, “Feeling well?” Chaos took the food away. I placed my hand on my head, feeling the pressure, “My head hurts a bit but it will subside soon enough!” “The nosebleed and headache … would that be a recurring thing for you?” Chaos was shuffling around in the bedroom. I sat up, “Only when I have done too much.” Remember every time this happens to me. “We will have to remedy that soon!” The Master said as he handed me a glass of water. “Drink the water and get yourself ready for training!” Taking the glass of water, “I do not get time to rest and get rid of my headache fully?” “I didn’t realize you were that weak and fragile.” He hummed, “maybe I should move you to the breeder-pleasure section. That is where the weaklings go!” I graced Chaos with a cocky grin, “Dundragon would love that!” I started to chuckle, “besides if I were anyone else, that is where I would have been dragged off to. Tho … I am not just anybody!” Smoke was filtering out of the Master’s nose in waves “do not think for one second that you are special and can’t be rid of.” He waited for me to finish the glass of water. “Your siblings are praying that you lose your temper and get rid of me.” I got off the bed and headed directly over to the Chaos. “One year!” The Master took the glass, “mother seems to think that I need you! I agree with you on one thing. I need you as much as you need me!” Chaos started to laugh, “Challenge accepted!” “Precisely!” I agreed with him.“You will bow … everyone does sooner or later!” Chaos pointed out. I motioned with my hands, “jealous?” I was pointing out the smoke. All I received was a growl and more smoke. I could not help myself, ‘you make things far too easy!” I clapped my hands together, “Here are the rules!” I watched The Big Bad Dragon. The Master raised a brow, “I am the one that makes the rules!” “One honesty, you hate lies as much as I do. Besides I will know if you are lying to me the second you finish your sentence …” “Do you honestly believe you are the only one with that talent?” Chaos asked me a little annoyed by my words. “Everyone can be fooled and deceived! Two, loyalty, in all relations, loyalty is required to move forwards …” “You will give me your loyalty! I owe you nothing!” He snarled. “Loyalty is earned both ways, I give what I receive and show new levels that you never knew existed!” I glared at the huffing and puffing black dragon. “Last, respect! I know you collect respect, you demand respect … I am not like other girls, do not forget that!” I paused waiting to see if Chaos was going to say anything. “You call me a consort, respect the title and I will respect your title.” I lifted a finger in the air each time I said a number. The Master crossed his arm in front of his chest, “who is your mother?” “Which life?” I quickly replied. Chaos tilted his head a bit, “do not answer a question with a question!” “It is a valid question, I remember the majority of my lives I have had!” I retorted. “I went to the Akashic records! You know the place that records all universal events?” He had a disgruntled appearance, “I find that hard to believe considering I did not find much on any lives except this one. Which would make you a new soul!” He pointed out his truth. I paused for a second to collect my thoughts. How much information was too much information? “What I do know, the Mother of all Mother’s spent a great deal of time hiding me from your siblings as well as you. If it was not her I was able to jump around not being seen. It is funny how the one thing that is sought after can easily hide in plain sight … Long story short, this life, Pauline for the human born aspect. Pirapancam had her hand involved with this creation.”Chaos studied me, unsure what to make of this new knowledge, “What are you?” Keeping eye contact, “I do not know fully what I am, I do know that I have a perfect combination of life and death skills!” Still studying, “What are your skills?” He asked me. “Many skills … not including what you already know! Manifestation, in other words what I think has the tendency to happen. It is my strongest skill! Remote viewing! I can not hear what is being said, but I can surmise what is going on by actions. … I get powerful headaches that knock me out for hours, even days. This leaves me vulnerable to attacks.” I could see Chaos thinking, he was trying to figure out what my DNA was. “Follow me!” The Master started to lead towards the door. “I have no time for your games nor anyone else.” He paused for a second to make sure that I was following him. “If I find out you are holding anything from me you will be …” Following Chaos, “If I haven’t told you something it is either not important, or it’s new to me!” “Are you telling me …” He stopped walking, “you have no idea of your capabilities?” I glanced at him briefly until I stared at the ceiling, “yeah! I do things that I do not even know what I am doing. I see it in my mind … and it is done!” I started to chuckle. “The mother of all mothers spent a great deal of energy to stop me from figuring out what … or who I am! Do not fully blame me, she has her hands in this!” I clasped my hands together, “and do not forget … There is no manual in the physical world to guide me on what to do. No one was willing to even look my way!” I was starting to become bitter at the memories of being rejected. Chaos let out a puff of smoke out of his nose. If he found this irritating, now he understands how I feel sometimes. “Do you know what I am?” I asked sincerely. Huffing with frustration, “I know one thing, your creator is frustrating!” “Yep!” That is all I said. He considered for a moment, whether or not to share his thoughts on this. “What I believe is…You are a powerful sorceress … They have the tendency to be solitary individuals. They do not follow rules set down by others and are very secretive!” He said the last part with inflammation. “Most of all they do not follow a Master, never aligning themselves with any other species. Since you have been reborn several times. You do things without knowing. You tap into your subconscious without realizing it, performing all tasks that you had done in your other lives.” “That makes more sense than what I was thinking!” I smiled up at Chaos, “I thought I was cursed!”Chaos kept on walking, “I am adding another rule … do not interrupt when I or others are speaking! You have a nasty habit of doing that, it is rude and you should know better!” He paused for a second, giving me a sideway grin, “something your creator has a habit of doing!” “My apologies, I will have to admit that interactions with others is not a strong suit of mine. I prefer to be alone with occasional interactions with others. More so … individuals like yourself.” “What do you mean by that?” He questioned me. “I do not like the gods, actually I find them to be distasteful. They are rude and egotistical beings that believe themselves to be superior to all other life forms, yet if given the chance I would turn them to dust and scatter their body throughout the universe.” I spoke my mind. “Be Careful little hybrid, those are my siblings you are talking about.” I glanced at him to study his body language. That is when I understood why he said what he said. If he speaks ill or threatens his siblings it is acceptable. For anyone else, it is a threat! I could understand where he was coming from. “That was not directed solely at your bloodline, it was all of them! Not all of the power houses are of your bloodline.” I was pointing out a fact. “There are several different species, each of them having their own personal system of social class. Remember there are those other sectors that compete with you and your siblings. They are just as grotesque as your bloodline.” “For someone that is so small you sure do have a big opinion of something that you know nothing about.” I could hear the edge of his tone, this topic was starting to rub him the wrong way. Trying to bring a conclusion to the topic, “So you say!” “Remember little hybrid, it was you who chose to not listen to the warnings that were given to you. This is your doing not mine! You might want to remember that the next time you voice your opinions so boldly.” “If you can not handle the truth then in the future do not ask any questions you do not want to hear my boldness. I refuse to lie nor sugar coat things to protect your precious emotions.” I retorted back to him. I was given a warning, “You're getting close to being rude!” I was never one to back down from a disagreement. “If speaking my truth is rude, then I would hate to see your version of arrogance!” I was coming close to seeing Chaos’ black dragon. “Check the tone in which you speak to me, little hybrid.” I checked my tone and began, “You have never had anyone but my mother speak back to you in any tone. What a treat for you, you will soon start to see the similarities from mother to daughter.” I could feel the darkness starting to swirl around my being. Grasping it I tried to control the urge to break free. The Master was not the only one who had a nasty temper. The problem with me was, I had no idea what would happen if I allowed my full temper to explode.
