I Became a God After the Apocalypse Game
Only after completing the second class advancement would a Beastmaster unlock the training function for beasts. It could be said that the importance of the second Class Advancement exceeded that of any other class for a Beastmaster. But the Divine Beastmaster was a hidden class after all, and Aiden was unsure if the ordinary NPC class advancement would work. He had to ask Steven about it. He glanced around to find that more players had gathered around him. He felt like a pop star holding a concert. However, he didn't care much. He just ignored them as long as they didn't disturb him. To him, it was pretty dumb for them to run all the way there just to gawk at a top-ranked player. But these players weren't idiots. This was Doomsday, unparalleled in all other games. No one would dare provoke him with such a massive power gap. If Aiden held a grudge, they would be dead if they met him outside the city. They couldn't stay in the central hub forever. Even if they did decide to hide in the city forever, they would never be able to level up without training in the wild. So, the players knew to keep themselves in check if they wanted to take a look at Aiden. No one dared to cross the line. However, there were always some who believed they were special or just plain arrogant. Aiden hadn't gone far when a dozen people blocked his path. "D*mn! Who's that daredevil?" "Do they have a death wish to block Nighthale's path?" "They're nuts! They'll be torn apart the moment they leave the city." "Who are these idiots?" The crowd was stunned. Although they liked joking about fighting Nighthale alone, it was just all talk for laughs. They never thought someone would actually do it. Is he for real right now? The players were dumbfounded at this suicide move and contemplated calling the psych ward.Who let these jokers out? "Wait. That's Swiftwind. He's a powerhouse, too! And the young man behind him is a real-life big shot." People soon recognized them and gasped. "I know Swiftwind. But what do you mean by real-life big shot? Someone asked, "Even if they team up, they can't possibly defeat Nighthale, right?" "Of course not. But Nighthale's only powerful in the game. That guy is influential in real life." "For real? What level are we talking about?" "The peak. I can't say more, or I'll get censored. Put it this way, commoners like us will need to bow to him when we see people like him. Figure it out yourself." "D*mn. That's serious." After learning about their backgrounds, the discussion gradually died down for obvious reasons. Both sides were untouchable. One was a game god. The other held immense power in the real world. Ordinary players couldn't afford to offend either side. If they somehow got involved, they wouldn't know what killed them. Loose lips had sunk ships. They had to be cautious with their words. … On the other hand, Aiden questioned, "Gentleman, what's this?" He squinted. A flash of cold sharpness gleamed within them. "Please don't misunderstand," a crisp voice sounded, and the group blocking the way stepped aside for a young man to reveal himself. "We mean you no harm." "Well, it doesn't look like it." Aiden stayed calm, but his tone was icy. "We have no choice. You're far too mysterious. We have to take a more unorthodox approach. Please forgive us." The handsome youth smiled. "I'm here to discuss a deal with you." "A deal?" Aiden frowned. "The epic equipment?" "You could put it that way." The youth kept smiling. "Believe me. I can offer a price you won't refuse." Aiden snorted. "If you can pull out tens of billions of marks right now for the epic equipment, I won't refuse." "Tens of billions of marks, huh?" The handsome youth paused and smirked. "It seems your worldview is still limited to what's inside the game. I'm actually a little disappointed." Aiden was speechless. How did a simple shopping trip turn into an encounter with a vision preacher? Could someone tell him why? He glanced at the group, rapidly searching his memory about this young man. Nothing came up. It seemed he hadn't encountered this man, which meant he wasn't some top-tier player. However, Aiden knew the man beside him. It was Swiftwind, one of the top assassins in his past life. He had always been proud and solitary, never joining any group. Yet now, he was following behind this young man.
