Caught Between Two Alphas
BETA TIM’S POV “I want to take her to the alpha first” I revealed to Mildrid. Mildrid was not having any of my suggestions, all she wants was to kill Dawn immediately and get done with the sacrifice. “The sacrifice must be done, Tim, we have no time to waste. Her blood is needed for complete purification unless you want to go back on your words” she accused. “Not at all, my lady. She must die, I must see to that. I am not about to sacrifice anything for her. While I was here fighting for her freedom, she sold her soul to the enemy. She fought with them to defeat her own people. She thought them how to fight her own people” I responded. “Then we must kill her right away. The Pixies are already in our land and the sacrifice must proceed” she urged. “Yes she will die but that would be after I take her to the alpha to proclaim her guilty by himself” I replied. This would be for the best, her death must have to be linked to the alpha, he should be the one to kill her. I grinned, he would not be aware that he was only killing her for me. No one would know the true state of things. “That Fred is weak, what if he refused to do so?” she asked. That is a good question that she had just asked. What if he felt that she does not deserve to die since we are already under the rule of the Pixies, what then will I do? “I will get the people to put pressure on him and in the process, I will get so angry and kill her right in his presence. She is a traitor and deserves to die” I replied. I was happy with myself for coming up with such a great idea. I am quite sure that the alpha would not want to appear weak before his people and so would not hesitate to do away with her the moment it is revealed that it is what the people want. She grinned and takes a little walk around the room. “The Pixies are in town, the alpha would not want to decide against them,” she said. “They will not be here forever. I will take her to the alpha once they leave” I replied with a smile. “That will be too long a time, Tim,” she said. I don’t understand why she is so bent on killing Dawn now. She is already in our hands and can't escape. Moreover, she already did the sacrifice without killing her, why doesn’t she want to wait for this to go our way? “Then I will take her to the alpha when the queen has gone to visit the other Packs. Everything will be over before she returns” I responded. She giggled and moved her waist systematically. “There is no time, Tim,” she said. There is no time? Dawn would be dead by the end of it all, what do we need time for in this situation? She is getting me confused by her demand. I think I might have to explain it in detail to her, of course, she will understand by the time I am done. MILDRID’S POV “That will be too long a time, Tim,” I said. I know what he is hoping to achieve but then he should not think that we have all the time in the world. Killing Dawn is the last phase of the sacrifice and any delay might end up being fatal and dangerous to us. He needs to kill her now and not wait any longer. “Then I will take her to the alpha when the queen has gone to visit the other Packs. Everything will be over before she returns” he replied. I giggled and whined my waist in my usual manner. Seems like it, but is it going to be worth the wait? “There is no time, Tim,” I told him. “You must have to understand my stand here, my lady. This is an opportunity to clear my name. I will take her to the alpha and the Pack would be responsible for her death and no one would blame or suspect me. She brought this on herself and it will only be good riddance” he explained. “Killing her right now is what I want” I demanded. His logic might seem reasonable to him but it might not be as easy as he thinks. Anything can go wrong at any moment and we cannot risk it. “I say we do this my way” he refused to heed me. He has made up his mind about this and there is no need for me to appear to be too pushy. I will let this go his way but if anything appears to be about to go wrong, then I will step in and do this my way. “So when do you intend for that to happen?” I asked. “The queen will be visiting the other Packs by tomorrow and alpha Fred will not be going with them. I will take her to him by then” he revealed.I giggled. Things are already going my way, it is easier than I had anticipated. Tomorrow it shall be. “You should never underestimate my capability” he added. “I never do, Tim, I never do,” I replied. Dawn is the only blood that the queen is connected to and killing her will completely destabilize the queen. By the time I achieve this, it would bring an end to my countless years of waiting. I will finally get all that I have yearned for centuries now. Isn’t this even a lot easier and worth every single year of waiting in agony? I couldn’t kill her on the battlefield, but now I will use what she loves most to get to her. All along I thought that her Chamlee was her weakness, I never knew that it was her little no-good sister. I planned everything on the battlefield to get to the Chamlee because I already know that my little poison would have no effect on the queen but then I thought getting the Chamlee would weaken her but it did not. Now I have taken my time and seen the love that she has for her sister. She was ready to let go of her unborn child to save the life of the Chamlee but she would want nothing to happen to her sister even if it is to save the Chamlee. So now I know that if I have her sister, I have got her at the back of my palms and there will be nothing stopping me. “Hoohoohoohoohoo...” I laughed hysterically. Tim looked at me in confusion and I said. “I never knew that you were this clever, Tim, in fact, you are the best” He kowtowed in pride. “Thank you, my lady, it is all because of you. I owe everything to your kindness” he replied. “Tim” I called. “Yes, my lady” he responded. “It should all be over tomorrow. I will get my zombies ready the day after” I instructed. “Very well, my lady, everything will go as planned” he replied. I smiled at him and he smiled back. For his own good, nothing must go wrong.
