“Uncle Landon, uncle Landon, stop going too fast” Lalic called as he struggled to keep up the pace with me. Dawn was following closely behind him. Today we came to the woods to run with our wolves while Lalic would run after us and try to catch either of us. “You said you can always keep up with me, young man,” I said. I did not stop but kept walking. “Yes, that is if you walk in your usual pattern” he argued. “I am walking the way I always do. If you can't keep up with my steps, how do you intend to run after my wolf?” I asked. “You will see, I run very fast now. Mother says my wolf will be a very fast one. I can't wait to meet my wolf” he responded. “I agree you already run too fast for your age. I think your wolf would be a rare one considering that you already have unusual blood” I concurred. “You wait and see, then you will not be able to catch up with me. My wolf will be fast and furious” he bragged. “Until then, Lalic. But don’t forget that I am trained for battle. You will have to be a very strong warrior to ever think of competing with me” I said. “Yes, I already told mother that I will be the strongest werewolf there is. I am going to protect my little sister from everyone” he boasted as he continued to struggle to catch up with me. “Oh, you did. And how are you sure it will be a girl?” I asked. “Hmmm... I... I...” he stammered as he could not come up with the right answer. “Father wants a girl and so it has to be a girl. I need a little sister” he finally replied. “I hope we all get what we ask for,” I said. “And if it is a boy, I am going to train him to be as strong as I am and together, we are going to protect the Chamlar. No one will ever dare to attack Pixolands ever again” he boasted. “And girls fight too, you know,” I said. “Yes. My little sister would be taught how to fight by me. She will be the strongest. But I will not let her get into any fight. She is a princess and I will always protect her. I will appoint a lot of guards to watch over her and they will never leave her side” he replied. “You have to move faster. As an elder brother, you have to show your strength in all ramifications” I beckoned on him to hasten up.The sun is about to set and I would want us to return to the palace before dark. Recently we have been having more of this speed training and I am impressed by his tremendous improvement. If he should continue like this, he will be much faster than any boy his age. “I am walking fast, you are the one that is not allowing me to meet up with you” he challenged. “See, you can walk with me, Lalic. We are almost there and you will need all the strength in you to chase after our wolves” Dawn called. “No, aunt Dawn, I don’t like it when he defeats me. He is not been fair, he knows my legs are not as long as his yet” he protested. “Come let me hold you. I will teach you the trick you will need to catch up with his wolf” Dawn offered. Lalic was excited at the piece of news and he slowed his steps. “Really, are you serious about it? You are going to help me defeat him” he exclaimed “There is no room for cheating, remember” I reminded them. “Yes, Lalic, it is a little werewolf's secret that you don’t know” Dawn replied and both of them completely ignored me “Wow... that is amazing. I will make sure to rip his wolf apart once I get hold of him. I will show him just how much power I’ve got” he revealed. We have arrived at our destination, so I stopped. “And here we are” I announced. “That is great, Lalic, but remember that he is still my mate. My wolf might be angry if you do that” Dawn warned. “Oh, that is correct. Then I will not rip his wolf apart anymore. I will make sure to tickle him until he falls to the ground roaring in laughter” Lalic changed his punishment for my wolf. I smiled as I listened to the banter between them. Dawn does have her way with kids, and I know that very soon, we are going to have our own miniatures loitering around. “Okay, Lalic, just make sure that he does not laugh too much. I wouldn’t want him going insane, you know” she begged. “Sure, I will remember that” Lalic responded. “You know the game, young man. We will be running around the axis, not too far from your sight. All you need do is to try to catch us” I explained.“Okay. But I will be after your wolf and not aunt Dawn. I love her wolf, she is too pretty and she has done nothing wrong to me” Lalic stated. “Why is her wolf different from yours? And she looks stronger too” he inquired. “She has a beta wolf, Lalic. Mine is just an average wolf that has developed through years of training” I explained. “Oh... would I have a beta wolf too or an alpha wolf? Mother has a white wolf and I love it” he asked. “The white wolf is rare. I think you will have a rare wolf too, or just an ordinary wolf like me” I explained. “Your wolf is impressive, but I need no ordinary wolf. I am a prince now and I need some special wolf” he protested. “An ordinary wolf is just as good as any other wolf. All it requires is constant training. The least wolf is the omega wolf. See if you have an ordinary wolf, I will help you train and become as undefeatable as I and general Rich” I replied. “Is uncle Rich an ordinary wolf too? I want to be as strong as him and you too. I want to be the strongest prince ever” he exclaimed in delight. “And that is why you must have to take every of your training seriously. You start now to build yourself and your wolf will come up far stronger than the ordinary wolf” I said. “Okay, can we start the running already?
