Aziza’s P.O.V. My alarm beeps to wake me for a new day, a day we will spend in the Archive and I for one hope that it will turn up nothing. Gunnar had asked me to wake him up as he tends to throw his phone away when his alarm beeps and Ragnar had told him if he broke this phone he would have to learn to live without one. I do my morning-ritual as I think about the fun we had last night, I know that I will ask Armas to team me up with them more often. After I get dressed I braid my hair and walk out of my room straight in to Kaiden and Ragnar. “Goodmorning, Gentlemen. I am on wake-up duty, any suggestion as how to wake up Gunnar?” I ask, Kaiden gets a huge grin on his face and he bolts out of there before I can say anything. “I guess that wasn’t the best person to ask, was it?” I ask as I stare after Kaiden. Ragnar shakes his head and the smirk on his face tells me that I am going to get in to trouble with Gunnar. It only takes a minute before Kaiden returns with a glass of ice cold water and holds it out in front of me. “Oh No, Kaiden. That is not going to happen. If you want to risk your life, go right ahead.” I say and Ragnar actually starts laughing. He slowly opens the door to Gunnar’s room and I whisper to him not to do it, but he doesn’t stop. Ragnar is still laughing as Kaiden walks further in to the room and then it is my turn to burst out in laughter. As Kaiden walks further in to the room, Gunnar steps from behind the door and in his hand is a bucket full of water. He holds it above Kaiden’s head as he clears his throat and as Kaiden turns his head Gunnar turns the bucket upside down. Ragnar is staring at the scene in front of him and Gunnar and I are having a blast. Kaiden is soaked from top to bottom as he is still holding the glass of water in his hand.Gunnar walks over to me, hooks his arm through mine and we walk away as we are both laughing our ass off. We are still laughing as we walk in to the dining-room and Chase and Hunter ask what is so damn funny, I tell them to wait until Ragnar and Kaiden are here. Luckily it doesn’t take long, because the twins keep nagging for an answer and Gunnar refuses to tell them what happened. As soon as Kaiden walks in, I say “Last night Gunnar and I were the last ones to turn in for the night and he told me that Kaiden had pulled some stunts on him more than once. He also told me about his problem with alarms in combination with his phone. This morning I woke up Gunnar after I had gotten out of bed and all we had to do was wait for Kaiden to leave his room.” I say and both Kaiden and Ragnar are staring at me wide eyed. “I asked what the best way was to wake up Gunnar and Kaiden did not disappoint us. Unfortunately Gunnar was waiting with a bucket full of water for him, soaking him from top to bottom.” I say and the twins start laughing uncontrollably. Gunnar has a huge grin on his face and he looks so damn proud of getting even with Kaiden. Ragnar looks at me and says “I hope I never get on your shit-list, I doubt I would survive it.” Making us all burst out in laughter. Ynanna’s P.O.V. I have returned to the prison with Kaelan, Camden and Amand. Camden and Amand get the rooms to the left and right of my room and Kaelan is going to stay with me. Kijani is waiting for us in the living-room and I introduce them to one and other, Camden says that they met during the hearing on the trials. Kaelan tells me that they know about Kijani’s Mate and that they hope that I will get the answers I am looking for. I explain to Kijani that Kaelan is my Mate and that he has known for thirty-six years. After we talk about Sofia and Eva, Amand asks if I will be doing all the interrogations and I tell him that I will. I still get plagued by the screams and the image, but with Kaelan close it is not as intense as before and I am grateful that I have him in my life. He pulls me closer as he asks me if I will start interrogating Roger again today. “No, let him sit in that cage until tomorrow. Kijani, can you make sure that Ayden gets placed in Roger’s cage when they bring him in tomorrow. Let’s see how he will react once he figures out that he will be staying in his Sister’s cage.” I say and Kijani just has a wicked grin on his face as he gets up and leaves the room. “Why would you do that?” Amand asks and I ask what he knows about the attack on Amyah. He tells me that they only heard the charge during the hearing and that that was all they know. “Fifteen years ago Roger’s chosen Mate, Meara, gave birth to a still-born male Pup and he lost complete control. He ripped her apart and when Amyah tried to calm him down, his Wolf took over. He attacked and raped her, Kijani found her in Roger’s room. He attacked Roger who was still asleep, than he grabbed Amyah and ran all the way to Armas. She fought for seven weeks before her body and Wolf caved, Kijani held her as she took her last breath. He swore to Armas that he would make Roger suffer worse then Amyah did. You will hear rumors during your stay here, believe all of them and know that no one will ever confirm it.” Once I am done, Kaelan buries his face in my neck and I pull him close to me. Aziza’s P.O.V. The Pack-members of Yellow Mountain Pack have stayed out of the dining-room most days, but right now there are a handful of women present and I have a feeling that they are here with a reason. I link the guys and as soon as they are done with their breakfast, they walk out of the room. I get another cup of coffee, sit back down in my seat and wait patiently for them to make their move. It only takes a few minutes before the women walk towards me and ask if they can sit down. I gesture at the seats, they quietly sit down and I ask them what is on their mind. I see no markings so it is safe to say that they are unmated. One of them introduces herself as Rosa and she tells me that all of them had been abused by Roger. All of them lost their virginity to him, all of them forced to do things they didn’t want and that he had enjoyed inflicting pain. Roger had shared them with mated males from the Pack, with Talon and when Rosa tells me what Ayden had done to her I nearly lost my breakfast. They all want out of the Pack and all of them want to testify against the men that took advantage of them. I have written down every name, every crime and the names of the males involved. The list of charges against Roger are growing steadily and when I ask if there are any mated females that want to testify, Rosa answers me “All of them. The only problem is that their Mates keep them locked up in their homes. They are not allowed to go anywhere without their Mate or an escort he has approved of. The only males not guilty of a crime against women are the ones that are not of age yet.” I tell her that I will talk with the Squad on what will be the best way to handle this situation. Rosa asks me to come to her if there are any questions we might have, whether it is for information on the couples or border-patrols. Once the women have left, I link Ragnar to find out where they went and his answer doesn’t surprise me at all.
