Evander I know he deserves to die for what he did, but hearing he found his Mate after what they did to her and hearing that his Wolf killed his own Mate to end her suffering, I also feel sorry for Ayden. I see relief on his face when he hears that his Nephews carry the names their parents picked and that they are doing fine. Umayza walked up to him before she went back to her own seat and told him she would visit them in the near future, “If there is anything you want them to know write it down and make sure Daeva gives it to one of the Council-members and I will make sure they get it.” She says and he looks at her with a smile. When the Council rendered his verdict he only had one request and that was to put him to death the next night at three in the morning, Nakoa had asked him why. “Because at that moment it has been exactly six years ago that I took her life.” He answered and Theron nodded at Nakoa to indicate it could be done. By the time all the formalities were done we had been too late for lunch, but luckily Yonatan had made arrangements with the kitchen staff and we enjoyed lunch in a completely empty Auditorium. Umayza was quiet but ate more than me or Conri and I can guarantee you that that is a lot. Council-member Boaz walks into the Auditorium as we are about to leave and he tells us that we are free to return to White Mountain Pack, but I know Umayza wants to be there when Ayden is put to death. She doesn’t care about the other two, but Ayden is a different story. We spend the rest of the day training, making sure Umayza knows what to do if she gets attacked and how to inflict as much damage as possible. Malik shows up just before dinner and he informs us that he will be leaving after dinner to meet up with his Brother. After dinner we say our goodbyes to Malik at the same remote location where Umayza shifted for the first time, none of us understanding why he wanted to part ways here but I think we will find out soon enough and I can tell you we are all stunned to silence as he shifts and takes off into the forest. We vow to ourselves to never reveal what we saw and I doubt anyone would believe us if we ever say anything about what we just witnessed, but I know we will have a few evenings that we will discuss amongst ourselves what we saw. The next night Ayden is guided out of the prison near our building and he looks surprised to see all of us there, but I think the biggest surprise for him is seeing his Brother and Sister. He apologizes to both of them for the male he became, but we all know there had been nothing he could have done about it. Under normal circumstances Theron would take great pleasure in ending a Wolf or Lycan like Ayden, but tonight he will show mercy on a Wolf that lost everything in a way you wouldn’t wish upon your worst enemy. Umayza holds the letter he wrote close to her chest as we see his body drop to the floor and we all send a prayer up to the Goddess. Umayza On our way home we take a detour, we are allowed to visit the Sanctuary and I hope I get to see the two young Alphas. Armas told us we would only see a part of the Sanctuary, that the majority of the territory is hidden from the rest of the world and that it is a safe haven for those that were convicted like me. Like White Mountain Pack the Sanctuary has a female Alpha and she has been running it for a few decades now. She accidentally found the hidden territory and informed the Council of her intentions, something the Council supports fully. The Council even provides her with financial support if she should need it, but so far they have been self-sufficient. I am not sure what I will find when we get there, I don’t know if I will relive a memory or two and I swore to myself I would never reveal what I saw if it could cause trouble for anyone. My ability is a gift and I want to use it to benefit others, not to make money out of it. Conri wakes me a few minutes before we reach our destination and I take in the scenery around me as we drive through the forest, there are a lot of trees that grow closely together. It is the perfect place for a Pack that wants to stay off the grit and I enjoy the peace and quiet that surrounds us. As instructed we pull over a few feet from the gate and one by one we exit the SUVs, my protection detail will wait out here while we talk to the Alpha. Surrounded by the Squad I walk towards the gate and a female steps from behind a few boulders to greet us.A male is waiting for us inside the Pack’s territory and he tells us to follow him to their Alpha, I look around in awe as we walk further into the territory. A male and a female are waiting for us near a picnic table and I get pulled into a memory as I look at the female, I let the memory wash over me as the past replays itself.
