Evander Conri points out there are a lot of things we need to talk about, including what we tell our Pups about our own assignments. “I know we can’t tell them any details, but do we tell them they can be dangerous or is that something we leave out of the conversation with our Pups.” Umayza smiles as she sits down in an armchair, “The most important thing is that we find a place to life, a Pack that is willing to take us in and I know which Pack we would prefer. However, we have to take into consideration they might not want us to settle on Pack grounds. I doubt they would turn us down after everything I heard from you about your Alpha, but she has a Mate now and he might not agree with it. So I believe the first thing we need to do is make sure we have a back-up plan and I thought about asking Alpha Drew, it will mean Ma and Orion don’t have to move.” She says.Conri and I think about her statement for a moment and Conri tells her we should ask Alpha Drew after dinner, but that we do explain that White Crescent Pack is our first choice. We get ready for dinner as Umayza tells us what Asilda and Ma offered and when she tells us Asilda wants to start a daycare for Pups with Ma I am actually not that surprised. “That might be something Alpha Amarah would like to hear more about, especially with combining two large Packs. It might be a challenge to find the right spot to build a cottage that can be used as a daycare, but I think Mom can help with that.” I answer. We all agree it shouldn’t be to far from the Pack-house, but we tell Umayza that we don’t know which Pack-house they will move into and once we find that out we can make further plans. By the time we are walking out of the room Umayza told us we were forgiven, but that we still needed to talk about having Pups and everything that comes with it. She walks in between us as we walk down the stairs and the moment we see Ma we apologize to her for upsetting Umayza, “The two of you better understand that I will always side with my Daughter, even if she is wrong in her opinion. Next time think about what you want to say and how you want to say it, make sure that you repeat it to yourself. It will guarantee that you understand if it will come across the way you want it or if it might upset someone and then you can make sure my Daughter doesn’t get upset again.” Ma says and we both promise her that we will keep that in mind for next time. Dinner is spend talking about Ma and Asilda’s idea on starting a daycare wherever we settle down and it seems they have been talking about it in great detail. They want to build a cottage with a residential side on the left and on the right for them to live in and in the middle they want to have the daycare. Connecting doors on the top floor so they have easy access to Pups that will spend the night, but will be locked during the day to avoid Pups from wandering around. I smile as Umayza asks them questions about meals and other things parent might want to know, Asilda is taking notes as we discuss the different aspects of a daycare. A fenced in backyard for the smaller Pups, but with easy access for the older Pups and Gray volunteers to build a swing-set for the smaller Pups. Alpha Drew asks them where they plan on building it and Umayza takes the opportunity to ask him about us settling here. Umayza I see Alpha Drew approach as we talk about the daycare, “Alpha Drew, you might understand that for me and my Mates White Crescent Pack is our first choice to settle down with the Squad, but we also understand that that might not be an option.” I say, making sure I don’t tell him Alpha Amarah found her second chance Mate. “But we were hoping that if we can’t settle there, you might be willing to accept us on to your Pack grounds.” I say and I see him think for a moment. “Umayza, if Alpha Amarah refuses then you are more than welcome to settle down here, but I have a feeling I am going to lose two very valued Pack-members.” He answers. He informs us that Alpha Amarah made it to the finale after making Alpha Claus tap out the match, “Her Mate was really pleased with how she handled that Alpha.” He says, but looks confused when we don’t react surprised and Evander quickly tells him how we found out. After he leaves us in search of his Mate, Evander says, “I wonder when Mom will call with the good news, because it wouldn’t surprise me if the Pack already knows about her and Alpha Theseus,” We talk about why she didn’t inform them immediately and we can’t come up with an answer. Ma and Asilda in a discussion of their own, Conri told them that White Crescent Pack has a Pup-center and that their Mother is working there. He also told them it wasn’t like what they have planned, that he thought their idea was worth talking about with their Mother and with Alpha Amarah. We are just walking out of the dining room when Evander’s phone starts ringing and he shows me that it is his Mom, “Hello, Mom… Yes, We are aware… No, she called me for some help… Yes, we were able to help… Yes, our assignment is finished… No, we will be home after Alpha Amarah returns from the competition.” He says. Conri stands behind me, holding me in his arms as we listen to Evander and I can feel he is getting a bit agitated with his Mother. I grab the phone from his hand as I step out of Conri’s arms, “I am not sure what you are telling Evander, but he is getting a bit agitated.” I say and she asks me who I am. “The one you plan to kick their asses for the moment they come home.” I say and for a moment it is quiet on the other end of the line. I hear a male’s voice and realize she put me on speaker, so her Mate can join our conversation. I tell them why we had been on assignment together and that I forgave them for screwing up. I tell them we want to settle down and where we would like to settle down, that we will be coming to see them real soon. She asks if I will bring my Father with me, I tell her I will bring my entire family and start explaining what transpired in the past few days.
