Seraphina Is Back—and She’s Not Alone
While Lionel spoke with fervor, his phone vibrated twice, pulling his attention away. He glanced at the screen, saw a Twitter notification, and tapped it open. The next moment, he froze, disbelief etched across his face. "What on earth?" Lionel exclaimed, clearly shaken. It turned out that someone had resolved the issue before he could finish his thought. While Lionel was stunned, the level of surprise among the others was far higher. Having been off Twitter for years, Andrew made an unexpected private post that immediately created chaos among business tycoons. The WhatsApp group for FX Nova employees buzzed with intense discussions. Anonymous A: Big news alert! Mr. Foster just posted on Twitter!Along with the message came a screenshot of the post. Anonymous B: Wait, does Mr. Foster even have a Twitter account? How did I not know about this? Did I join here too recently? Anonymous C: As a three-year rookie, I didn't even know Mr. Foster was on Twitter. Anonymous D: As a six-year veteran, this is only the second post I've seen from him. Could I be any luckier? Anonymous E: Hey! Shouldn't you be paying attention to what Mr. Foster posted? Anonymous A: Haha, don't mind them. They're just so surprised that Mr. Foster actually posted on Twitter. ... As Thomas stepped off the stage at Duskmire, his assistant rushed over to him. "Thomas, on Twitter—" "Is Serrie in trouble again?" Thomas asked reflexively, snatching the phone from his assistant's hand. The assistant finally got the chance to finish his thought. "Mr. Foster posted on Twitter." Thomas gave him a confused look. He rolled his eyes and mumbled, "Andrew posted on Twitter? Who cares? It's not a big deal. Why the drama? You almost gave me a heart attack." Now, it was the assistant who looked baffled. Isn't it surprising enough that the legendary business tycoon, Andrew Foster, suddenly posted on Twitter? See how all the business leaders are retweeting it? They're just as shocked, okay? Just as the assistant was lost in thought, he abruptly slapped his forehead. Hold on, I almost followed Thomas down the wrong path. He swiftly explained, "Thomas, no. What I meant to say is that Mr. Foster posted on Twitter to challenge the rumors. In a subtle way, he spoke out in Seraphina's defense, clearing things up.""What?" Thomas immediately took the phone from the assistant again and began scrolling through Twitter. "D*mn!" The assistant quietly wondered how often Thomas had been cursing lately. He watched as Thomas tapped rapidly on the screen and grew uneasy. Peering over, he quickly halted him. "Thomas, my dear, Michael said you can't just post whenever you feel like it." Thomas didn't respond. It's my Twitter account. I get to make the rules. Thomas was immediately ready to log into his account. "When did you change the password?" Thomas glared icily at the assistant. The assistant immediately stepped back. "Michael changed it. He's the only one with the new password." The message was clear. If you want to post, you need to ask him for the password.… At the Whitewood house, Seraphina read the Twitter post that had shot to the top of the trending list in less than half an hour. It was about her. 'Andrew Foster: Just because I don't smile all the time doesn't mean I'm ungrateful. Just because I shed tears doesn't mean I'm on the side of justice. It's ironic that someone would believe in a video taken out of context. Funny enough, that day, I witnessed a scorpion-and-frog story, and today, I'm seeing the emergence of a backstabber. It's truly a spectacular show!'
