Seraphina Is Back—and She’s Not Alone

Chapter 105 She's Quite a Character

A white-collar woman yelled, "Stop! You'll kill him if you keep hitting him." Ignoring everyone behind her, Seraphina looked at Bryan, whose face was smeared with blood. Her voice was raspy. "If you want to seek revenge on the Whitewood Family, you are welcome to try." Then she released Bryan and tossed him aside nonchalantly. The surrounding elite group shuddered in dread at the casual and controlling way she did so. Despite her seeming weakness, she had a surprisingly vicious side. "You can't leave." Relying on the crowd, the white-collar woman intervened to stop her. Ignoring her, Seraphina approached her straight. Immediately, the white-collar woman became frightened, and the men behind her instinctively backed off, except Jason, who did not flinch. "What do you want? Listen. This community is regulated by the law." Seraphina stooped to retrieve the video camera off the ground. Everyone sighed in relief when they learned they had misunderstood. They were about to relax when she violently smashed the video camera to the ground, breaking it and tossing it into the foul-smelling ditch nearby. She looked around the crowd after completing all of this. "Keep this a secret, or else..." With a malicious smirk, she made a gesture that slit her throat. A handful of astonished people were left behind when she turned and walked away. "How arrogant!" The director was incensed. Such a malevolent force is simply intolerable to him. "Call the cops to arrest her," he ordered at once. "We have to discipline her." Jason stopped him with a raised hand. "Not necessary. I'll speak with her later." Everyone was taken aback. He knew her, it turned out. It made sense why she was so brash and conceited. The director immediately altered his attitude after recognizing his error. "Today's young ladies are different. These few people deserve to be beaten up because they did nothing right. Call someone to come get them, Wyatt, and ask them how they dared to harass that young lady." Everyone silently rolled their eyes. They were perplexed by the director's quick attitude shift. The four thugs were removed by a police officer, and Bryan, who was gravely hurt, was taken straight to the hospital for medical attention. Seraphina walked to a convenience store after leaving the demolition site. Her face and body were covered in bloodstains, which shocked the salesperson. "Miss, are you okay?" After shaking her head, Seraphina grabbed a pack of wet wipes off the shelf, carefully removed the stains from her body, and then paid for it. In her pocket, her phone rang. "Sera, are you okay?" Evelyn's anxious voice came from the phone. "I'm fine." Evelyn exhaled a sigh of relief. "I just noticed that Bryan and his gang appeared to confront someone on the campus platform. I feared that they might confront you. Now that you're safe, they must be pursuing someone else." Without displaying any signs of frustration, Seraphina listened to her discourse in silence. A soft stream appeared to warm her icy heart. She questioned whether Evelyn was sincere in her worry. In her heart, she whispered to herself. "Now, where are you? Would you like to grab a drink with me?" Evelyn inquired. She could go out and relax because Jason would be working overtime that day. "No." Linara had been waiting in Whitewood Residence for Bryan to text her, but instead, she spotted Seraphina return with a bag on her shoulder and a laid-back appearance. "How come you're back?" Linara gazed, a little disbelieving, at the unhurt Seraphina.
