The Apocalypse Wolf Queen

Chapter 380 A Perfect Score

After leaving those words behind in a low voice, he turned and walked away. Just like when he arrived, there was no warning at all. Roxen lifted a hand to brush back his golden bangs, an elegant smile spreading across his refined features. "My thoughts happen to align perfectly with Adrian's." He looked once more toward the training chamber, genuine anticipation now evident in his eyes. "I am very much looking forward to seeing her at the Command Institute." With that, he gave the instructors a courteous nod and turned to leave. In the Command Institute dean's office, the dean nodded as well. It was settled. The Command Institute was about to welcome another genius. He was more than satisfied with this freshman. At this point, the three instructors no longer had any objections. Facts spoke louder than words. If not for the records clearly listing her gender, they would never have believed she was a woman. "How could she have ranked last?" one of the instructors could not help asking. "With her ability, she should have placed at least in the top ten." "Top ten is still an understatement," another instructor retorted. "She belongs in the top three." Those who had participated in the third round of assessments had kept everything tightly sealed, revealing nothing. Even these senior faculty members had no idea what had actually happened during that stage. Valen merely let out a cold laugh and didn't respond. At that moment, the exam concluded. The system flashed red. A perfect score. Every evaluation category showed full marks. The Command Institute's second perfect-score entrant had been born, and she was a freshman. If they had not witnessed every step of her command decisions with their own eyes, they would have suspected the system had been tampered with. Although this outcome thoroughly embarrassed the three instructors, being humbled by sheer genius brought them an inexplicable sense of satisfaction. Valen maintained his usual stern composure, though the faint curve at the corner of his mouth betrayed a trace of satisfaction. Thora removed the equipment from her head and stepped out of the training chamber. She rolled her neck slightly and loosened her shoulders, crisp pops sounding from her joints. Just hearing it was enough to convey the strength of her bones and the firmness of her muscles. She straightened, fastened the collar button that had come loose during the intense session, and walked toward the group. After such a lifelike large-scale military simulation, a normal person would be exhausted, if not outright drained. Yet Thora showed no sign of fatigue. Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes bright, and she looked energized, as though she still had endless strength to spare. Only when she reached them did everyone react, breaking into applause, their expressions noticeably warmer and filled with admiration. "Congratulations, Thora, on successfully passing the Command Institute entrance examination," the two Command Institute instructors said at once. Thora gave a polite nod to each of them. In truth, she had not quite had her fill of the command system yet. She hadn't expected it to end so quickly. To her, the difficulty had been fairly average. The challenge lay mainly in managing the sheer number of details, at least compared to her years of real combat experience. In her previous life, she had been a commander by profession. Returning to familiar ground naturally felt effortless. Valen also looked at Thora and gave a slight nod. The instructor responsible for departmental assignments spoke immediately. "Since you have passed the examination, I will process your transfer to the Command Institute right away." The two Command Institute instructors echoed his words. Talent like this was something they were eager to claim. The concern they once had over her being female had now turned into a highlight. The first female student in the Command Institute's history was bound to cause a sensation. As the instructor reached out to take back Thora's assignment list, Thora looked puzzled. "When did I say I wanted to transfer?"
