When the Galaxy Wept

Chapter 81 Take Her Back To The Room

The atmosphere gradually reached its peak—the logistic soldiers who had been prepared turned down the light on the floor. Finally, everyone fell into silence in the darkness. Then the slow, demagogic music started with colorful, dazzling lights, and strippers wearing tight black leather jackets, pants, and heavy make-up walked on stage. Their sexy appearance attracted the attention of all the men present. Instead of shouting, the men just whispered to each other. However, the air had become hotter than before. The drunk men stared at the strippers’ elastic waists, breasts, and hips. The strippers were very professional, ignoring the thirsty looks from the audience, and started dancing, moving their hips to the music as if they were immersed in the world of music. “These are the best strippers in Peaceful City.” Malcolm looked at Patrick, who was very calm, “and the best in the Alliance. What do you think?”“All right,” Patrick answered in a low voice. Looking at Patrick, who was as cold as usual, Malcolm was sure that he was the only man that didn’t have an interest in the strippers, but... The music stopped, the strippers stopped dancing. Instead, they looked with pride at their audience, some wearing a light smile. Malcolm suddenly stood up and roared. “Behave yourself! There are only ten dancers here, and not every one of you will get one. They are the best in the Alliance, and each of them is worth the price of an SUV.” “Wow.” The men were even more excited after Malcolm’s speech. Malcolm tried not to laugh and kept talking. “Of course, I already paid, and they are willing to serve you tonight. Some technical officers have made huge progress on this plane manufacturing process and deserve a reward. They are…” He called their names one by one, and the officers who were called stood up happily as a dancer would immediately walk to them. Those officers couldn’t hide their happiness and grabbed their dancer’s waist, starting to make out with them in front of all the spectators. Malcolm called ten names until all dancers had someone. He paused and shouted, “Of course, I have prepared the best woman for our Commander, who has come from a place far away.” The officers began to applaud, but Patrick still sat there calmly. Malcolm ignored his silence and waved his hand. Soon several people pushed a trolley made from a large missile case to Patrick. Four wheels were fixed under the metal case in the height of a man so that it could slide smoothly. A woman, covered by a vast black veil, was burying her head in her arms in the cold metal case, her hair loose like silk. The gems on her earlobes and her neck were glowing brightly. The thin black veil vaguely showed the figure of a woman, which was different from the ascetic costume of the other dancers. However, the men could see nothing of the woman under the veil. The officers around Patrick only saw the woman’s slender arms and legs. Her straight arms and ankles outside the veil had made a clear distinction and were even more eye-catching than the decorating gems. The contrast between metal and human, hardness and softness, made a strong visual effect. Everyone wanted to see the face under the black hair. Maybe she was not overly beautiful, but a clean, pretty face may be more suitable for that soft body and neat features. Everyone was looking at Patrick with high expectations. He glanced lightly at the missile case and then looked at a young officer in the crowd. “Shorty.” He called that man’s code name. The young, handsome officer immediately walked to him in surprise. “Although you haven’t made as many contributions as others, you are the youngest researcher here.” Patrick said without frowning, “She’s yours.” A happy smile appeared on Shorty’s face after recovering from the shock. Someone laughed jokingly. “He is still a virgin.” Shorty was a little uncomfortable with everyone talking about him, but he tried to find the courage and walked forward. When he was about to lift the woman, Malcolm suddenly stood between them with a smile and stopped him from stepping forward. Patrick felt something was going on and looked back at the woman. The woman had been sleeping but suddenly started to move, rubbed her eyes, and raised her face to look around. She immediately froze. She seemed to notice that Patrick was looking at her, so she turned around and looked him in the eyes. Her clean face was covered with colorful make-up. Her oval face was surrounded with black, long hair, and her forehead was decorated with a sapphire. Her long, black lashes were curled, and purple eyeshadow covered her eyelids. Long eyeliners extended to the temples, making her more charming. Her cheek had a thin layer of blush, and her small lips had bright coral color. A pure, clean face with colorful make-up stunned all the men. She was visibly shocked when she looked down at her revealing clothes. She immediately snuggled to the inner wall of the case and looked at Patrick in frustration. Patrick was staring at her. After being silent for a while, he looked at Shorty and said. “Second Lieutenant, I’m sorry I have to take my words back.” Shorty scratched his head shyly but stepped away at once. The others were somewhat surprised when the Commander, who never broke his promises, was now taking back his words in front of them after seeing the woman’s face. They were stunned at first and then burst into laughter, protesting against him since they were all drunk. Patrick glanced at Malcolm sullenly, but Malcolm was not afraid and just kept laughing.“Take her back to the room!” Patrick growled at Harvey, who was astonished to find out that the woman was Emerald. After receiving the order, he didn’t dare to lift her up with his arms, so he put Patrick’s coat on her body and pushed the case back to Patrick’s room as everyone was looking at them in surprise. Nobody dared to ask more since Patrick was silent and angry. The banquet went on. Malcolm whispered to Patrick. “What do you think? I bet you have never seen her like this before. Women have many sides; you have to explore yourself.”
