When the Galaxy Wept

Chapter 70 You Belong To Me

It was a long way back to Galaxy Eternity. When Emerald woke up again, she saw the dim light of the cabin and the endless space outside. After she finally came back to her senses and started to remember what had happened, she realized that the last thing she had seen was the cold face of Patrick and Yearwood’s dead body, which had been dragged away by a mercenary. “When did you get hurt?” A low voice suddenly asked. She lifted her head in surprise as she felt big hands wrapped around her waist and shoulder, turning her around to face him. At the sight of his handsome face, her heart started to ache. Her heart fluttered and trembled, and she realized that she couldn’t control her racing heart at the sight of him. His eyes were quiet as he stared at her, making her feel dizzy. She slightly moved her eyes away and looked at his firm shoulder, “A few days ago, the Kung Fu master in the princess Palace did it.” “Masters?” He smiled with ridicule in his voice, and he stared at her pale face, “Was that man a master too?” “Why?” She asked, “why did you kill him?” Although she knew that there must be a reason why Patrick had killed him, she felt hurt knowing that he was dead because he had been nice to her. It couldn’t be because he had touched her. After all, Patrick would never let personal feelings control him. Emerald didn’t say she hated Patrick or doubted him as he expected. Instead, she just asked about why he had killed the other man in a calm voice, which hit him in the heart. Patrick raised his big hand to touch her cheek. “Kitten, those were not human.” Emerald was shocked, and she asked in a shaky voice. “All of them?”Patrick took a tape from the side of the bed and threw it at her, “Watch it when you’re free. They are all robots.” Emerald took the tape with mixed feelings. She still had lots of questions to ask. But Patrick, who knew all the answers, was not patient enough to explain them to her. He stared at her as if he could see nothing but her. He pinched her chin with his rough fingers and kissed her firmly on her lips. “That robot man had to die.” He said in her mouth, “Don’t let any other man touch you. You belong to me.” **** He kissed her passionately and repressively confined her shoulder and waist under his wide chest. His moves made Emerald forget all about her questions because all she could think about was this man in front of her. But had he known the princess was a robot at that time? He didn’t, did he? She couldn’t forget the conversation between Harvey and Harrison, the snow-white, naked body of the princess, and the way Patrick had touched and looked at her body. Emerald couldn’t ask the questions. Who was she to ask this kind of question? She knew things would be different now. Before, she had been his pet. She had traded her body for her life, and she actively crossed the line, even giving him a blow job to make him happy. But if she had other expectations and desires for him that a pet shouldn’t have, how should she view herself? In her eyes, Patrick was cruel, arrogant, crazy, and far away from her. But now, she saw him as sexy, reliable, omnipotent, and filled with masculine charm, sophistication, and power. Since the first day when he had spared her life and taken her into his home, she had been trying to run away from him so many times. In return, he had indulged her more and more, and she was in a dangerous position now because his heart was her abyss. She could be smashed into pieces if she wanted to have his heart. What would happen if another girl, who was not a robot but looked just like her? How could she put herself in that condition? Even if this was out of her control, she couldn’t let herself go any deeper. She had to stop herself and make sure that Patrick would never know about her feelings. “Yes.” She answered lightly, “I won’t have any other man.” He stared at Emerald’s face, which was buried in his chest, and thought of the day when she had threatened him with nuclear bombs. Now she was lying in his arms like a kitten that belonged to him. He started smiling and put his big hand into the blanket, touching her chest and her back habitually. But the body in his hands was so stiff that he could feel her resistance in every part of her body. When his hand touched her private part, her legs closed together almost unconsciously. Although she loosened her legs immediately after that move, he noticed that she was different from before. He thought of something and withdrew his hand suddenly, lifting her face. Her face was pale and thin, with tears in her red eyes. Her eyes were so quiet and clear, like the dewdrops in the morning, precipitating sadly and hopelessly. Patrick was surprised to see her silent struggle. He grabbed her shoulder and turned around to press on her, asking coldly. “You don’t want to?” Why wouldn’t she want to? Because of that robot man he had killed? She kept silent and looked down, finally showing a little bit of stubbornness. She didn’t answer his question under his domineering sight. He stared silently back at her. After a while, he suddenly let go of her and stood up. She kept lowering her head stubbornly and didn’t look at him at all. He looked down from above at her naked, bruised body, and his face turned determined. “You have one month to recover. I hate being betrayed, remember that. You will be forever mine no matter what happens.” She was left alone in the room, staring blankly at the ceiling. She was up so upset about something she was not sure what it was.
