Emerald looked at the camera for a few seconds and pulled the man who talked to her. Then she put her arms around his neck and wanted to kiss him. “Twinkle, twinkle.” The alarm of the bar suddenly rang, as if someone was angry in front of her. Emerald felt awesome. She pushed the man away and took Fiona, who felt weird, to walk out of the bar in the chaos. Emerald had been hanging around outside for a whole day. She thought that he would leap here very soon after that accident, so she took her daughter’s Cheetah and left the Viper here that must be located and leaped away. There was only one place in the whole galaxy that Patrick’s machine energy couldn’t enter. Emerald felt satisfied sitting on the sofa and drinking coffee.Yorick looked at the woman who let herself in at midnight and smiled, “You’re ruining my friendship with my bro.” Emerald hissed coldly, “I’ve helped you a lot when you wanted to be Rosalind’s boyfriend. Why do you only remember your friendship with him?” Yorick just smiled. He knew this woman was very stubborn, and he couldn’t win against her if he continued arguing with her. Rosalind was married, and it was said that her child was over ten years old. He could say nothing when Emerald talked about her. Well, he didn’t mind watching Patrick be hurt once in the relationship. “Okay, I won’t let him in as long as you don’t want to.” Half an hour later, the communicator in the room really rang. His servant said with a smile, “Marshal, Patrick came here to pick up his wife.” “Let him stay outside.” Yorick said carelessly, “Initiate the defense system and let him stay there for a while.” Emerald was suddenly worried. Although Patrick was the machine marshal, Yorick’s ammunition system was specially made for machine men. No matter how strong Patrick was, he couldn’t beat the system once the trap surrounded him. “Don’t worry.” Yorick smiled lightly, “He should have a lesson since he had lied to you for so many years.” Emerald was silent for a while, “Okay.” After about ten minutes, Emerald still hadn’t heard about him. Finally, she couldn’t sit there anymore, and she stood up, “Maybe I should go now.” Yorick looked at her, “Oh, I have something for you to watch.” It was a memory recorded in Yorick’s energy field. It was completely dark, and Emerald could see nothing. She had never seen anything so black, and even the color of the space couldn’t be so pure. “It’s the black hole,” Yorick said. Emerald was surprised. Last night, when she entered Patrick’s energy field, she saw the same color. But because there was too much for her to see, her energy didn’t stay for too long in that part. Yorick noticed that she was suspicious and explained, “This is Patrick’s energy field, which is reflected and kept in my memory.” A ray of light showed up in the darkness. The light was feeble. A man’s body floated out from the lake, with the limbs bony and his face pale. There seemed to be no flesh on that tough face. He looked like a dead body, and the light was from his body, struggling with the black hole.Emerald had never seen Patrick like this before. Only one look could make her upset. She felt that he was drifting away into the black hole. “Well, this period, maybe millions of years, wasn’t recorded in his memory. There are only some fragments of the reflection of the energy.” Yorick sighed, “Emerald, I think floating in the black hole for such a long time can make up for the mistakes he made.” Emerald bit on her lower lip, “Where is he?” Yorick smiled, “I guess he is still fighting with the defense system.” Emerald walked away. Then Emerald fell asleep on the beach. When she woke up, she was in his arms. He just stared at her without saying anything. Emerald turned around so that she didn’t see him.“Kitten...” He said with a smile as if he was asking why she was still angry after she was willing to come back home. “You have to respect people if you love them, do you understand? You shouldn’t hide anything, especially something so big.” Emerald’s face was still cold. “I don’t want you to be upset.” He started to blow air to her neck. “Patrick, we have got engaged in the last life, but I’ve forgotten all those precious memories.” Emerald wanted to cry, “Would you like to do this if you were in my shoes?” Patrick was silent. “No.” He didn’t want to lose or forget anything about her. “Sorry.” He seemed to understand why he was wrong and whispered to her finally. Emerald said, “Let me watch the memory again.”“Okay.” He paused, “But you can’t get angry.” The sky was fish-belly grey, and Patrick was sitting on the beach, which was purer than the jade, and Emerald was sitting between his legs. The blue light surrounded them. Emerald raised her face and felt his energy field reverently with her eyes closed. Patrick held her hands tightly and looked at her gorgeous face from behind. He couldn’t help but kiss her hair, face, and neck repeatedly. After a while, the two started talking. “I asked you out?” Emerald couldn’t believe what she saw. “Yeah.” Patrick smiled in a low voice. Then after a while again. “You, you’re really good at playing hard-to-get.”“...Yeah.” “I’m good.” “You really are.” “Damn! I toiled at training, and how could you...” “You seemed to enjoy it.” A naughty smile formed at the corner of Patrick’s mouth. “Shut up!” “They were your...Patrick Lewis’s parents?” “Yeah.” “I wonder whether I would fall in love with the original Patrick Lewis if I met him.” “Emerald Wilson.” He growled as; obviously, he’s jealous. She laughed, and he hastily said, “I will fall in love with you no matter who I simulate.” Emerald was going to retort him, but Patrick’s passionate kiss engulfed her voice. She then realized she was tricked by this man again; however, her heart always beats for him. “I love you so much, honey,” Patrick whispered near her ear.
