Christopher smacked his lips. With Andy’s friendly attitude and the alluring terms that he set, he saw no reason to turn down the offer. More importantly, it wasn’t a mere transaction. Andy would owe Christopher a huge favor if he delivered results. The favor Andy owed him would be beneficial toward the restaurant’s development. “President Dune, I can try, but I can’t promise the results,” Christopher said with a faint nod. “Sure!” Upon hearing that, Andy exclaimed with a satisfied smile on his face. Then, out of habit, he lifted a wine glass that held expensive wine beside him. Christopher also lifted an empty glass beside him, and the waiter immediately poured him some wine. Out of courtesy, Christopher lifted the glass of wine at Andy and took a sip of it. Meanwhile, Scarlett was buzzing with excitement upon hearing their conversation. She had been coveting the food on the table. Because she had never had them, she was determined to enjoy the feast. Christopher merely shook his head upon noticing Scarlett’s excitement. After they had their meal, Christopher no longer had a reason to stay. Just when he was about to leave, he was surprised to see Andy handing him the Platinum VIP card. “Chris, I made it a point to be sincere during dealings. Here, consider this Platinum VIP card as a gift for you during our first meeting. There’s two million in the card, which you can spend in the shops I own. If you have any complaints, you can call the number on the card. The owner of the number will be in charge of handling your requests.” Andy smiled as he handed the card over to Christopher alongside a delicate piece of paper. A Platinum VIP card boasted of most benefits, and was also representative of the cardholder’s status as the most prestigious of customers. Despite Christopher’s bewilderment, a smile bloomed on his face soon after. It was in Andy’s character to act swiftly. With his capabilities, he could easily find Christopher if Christopher ever went back on his word. That should be the true reason he offered Christopher the card. “Since that is the case, I will gladly take the offer.” Without putting on any pretenses, Christopher didn’t hesitate to take the card that Andy offered. After all, the two million was one of the reasons he came to meet Andy. He wasn’t about to run away with the money though. He was above that, and two million wasn’t that much money anyway. “I will fetch you at Thumbs-Up Restaurant by tomorrow noon. Do you have any other questions, Chris?” Andy inquired casually with his hands behind his back. Once again, Christopher was startled by Andy’s capabilities. He already got a grasp on Christopher’s circumstances within such a short amount of time, which included Thumbs-Up Restaurant’s opening hours. With a nod, Christopher was led away by Andy’s men. Even after they stepped out of the extravagant place, Scarlett couldn’t help but praise it. “Why don’t you buy me another meal or take me on a shopping trip, considering that we have known each other for such a long time? You have two million in your card after all, and you enjoy a ten percent off. Gosh, for a girl, this is so enticing!” Scarlett seemed hopeful as she spoke, the expression on her face absolutely adorable. Christopher rolled his eyes upon hearing that. “Why should I allow you to use my card? I don’t think we’re that close with each other to begin with.” Upon hearing that, Scarlett started fuming. With her hands on her waist, she puffed up her face. “I’ll bug you every day if you don’t let me use it! I’ll also tell my grandfather that you have been abusing me! You have been torturing me while we were in bed, on the sofa, in the kitchen, and on the table!” Christopher was sweating profusely after hearing that. With his mouth agape and a look of disbelief in his eyes, he cursed mentally, For God’s sake, the bed and on the table? Are you watching porn or what? However, Scarlett was pestering him nonstop that day with all that she got, which gave him a headache. After some time, his eyes lit up when he seemingly thought of something. “I suppose you can use my card, but only twice. After that, you’ll have to obey my orders in the future. You can’t fly into a rage, and you aren’t allowed to threaten me. If you can swear an oath, I’ll consider your request. Otherwise, don’t you even think about touching it.” Christopher had a solemn expression on his face as he spoke. Other than being a brilliant chef, Scarlett was also Lawrence Spark’s granddaughter. She had a short temper, but Christopher could save himself a lot of trouble if he could settle things once and for all with her. If he could do that, he might be able to enlist her help to help expand his restaurant in the future. Christopher thought of that just now, which was the reason he offered his card. As long as she owed him a favor, she would help him in return. Upon hearing that, Scarlett blushed, seemingly being reminded of something. “E-Except for... that, I will obey your every order in the future. Upon reaching that conclusion, Christopher rolled his eyes once again. Because he didn’t come in his Ferrari, he hailed a cab to bring them to a mall near Marriott Hotel in fear of Scarlett exploding on him again. When they arrived at Hayward Mall, Scarlett led the way, thrilled at their shopping trip. Then, they arrived at the clothes department by elevator. From what Scarlett gathered, Hayward Mall belonged to Dune Enterprise. The magnificent building functioned as a glorious hub where finance, administration, tourism, fitness, and entertainment industries flourished. When they arrived at the clothing department, Scarlett began her shopping spree. She handed every piece of clothing she purchased to Christopher, which startled him. Soon, he had ten or so bags in his hand, which made his lips twitch in awkwardness. Prior to that, he never believed that women would go on shopping sprees, but he totally believed in that now after witnessing Scarlett doing just that. “Say, you already have ten or so new clothes. Are you going to buy more?” Christopher asked in resignation. “Hold on. I just need a few more.” Under Christopher’s stare, she headed toward where the skirts were. She was fixated on a certain miniskirt with much surprise in her eyes. Left with no choice, Christopher followed behind her. Coincidentally, a man was also heading in their direction with a foxy woman, who was in a red miniskirt. She also had her eyes on the skirt, so she quickly tugged on the man’s arm. It was obvious that the woman also wanted that skirt. Therefore, she twisted her body around a little to rub her chest on the man’s arm. With a smile, the man patted on her hand to express his consent. Shoot! Upon noticing the situation, Christopher knew that Scarlett would wreak havoc considering her fiery personality. Thus, he tucked all of the shopping to a female sales assistant beside him before rushing toward where Scarlett was headed to.
