Chapter 187 Unknown Woman

As Sylvia arrived in class, Susu relayed the conversation that had happened between the student and Louie to her. [I knew there was something fishy about that ticket. That scumbag Louie still has his hateful eyes on you, host.] Sylvia's brows furrowed together as she walked back to her seat. Urea, witnessing this, thought that Sylvia was feeling annoyed at the earlier incident and soon took some steps back to her seat to give Sylvia some privacy. [What should we do, host? Should I track his current location?] Of course, this is something Susu would have done the first moment he found out about Louie's agenda. But the thing is, no matter how hard he searched for the other party's track, it was as if he had vanished from the surface of the earth. Such a situation can only mean one thing. Louie's information was being kept in a highly confidential place. With his current strength, Susu knew that it would be hard for him to crack through the source. It appears that the guy's identity is quite mysterious. ‘Never mind.’ Sylvia could also guess that there is a powerful background behind Louie. Being able to acquire a visit ticket to the capital was already strong proof of that. If she could guess, Louie's current location should be at the capital. However, what got Sylvia so angry was that her peace for the day had been disrupted. As she sat down in her seat, a student approached her.“Congratulations, Sylvia, for coming out as the champion in this beauty contest event. This is the first time our class will ever be in the limelight. It's really a blessing to have you here with us.” The young boy put on a smile and was about to continue with his praise when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his left earlobe. “Ouch, ouch. Who is that?” “Shut up and come out with me.” Urea dragged the boy who couldn't read the room out of the class. “Aww, ouch. Be gentle. At least pull my hand, not my ear.” The pitiful boy cried out. “Shut up, or I will rip your tongue out!” Perhaps the young boy was truly frightened by Urea's threat; he immediately kept his mouth shut. “Are you alright?” Uast walked over to Sylvia's seat and asked concernedly. “I'm fine.” Sylvia nodded. Uast could tell that she was only nodding out of politeness. “I've already reported to the homeroom teacher about your image that was uploaded to the school forum. With the teacher's intervention, the culprit who uploaded the picture would be caught soon.” “Also, if there's anything you want to complain about, you can report it to me. As long as I can solve it, I will do the best I can.” Seeing how serious Uast's expression was, Sylvia's lips curled into a smile. “Okay. Thanks so much.” “It's no problem. This is the reason why you all elected me as the class president. I'm just doing my job.” “Hmm.” Sylvia watched as Uast went back to his seat, and then turned her head sideways, staring outside the window. [He's such a nice person.] Susu's good impression of Uast increased by another margin. … Being the first day of resumption, there wasn't much work to be done. Hence, most students went back home early. In the car, Sylvia stared at the large amount of figures deposited into her account by Mike. Upon facing a certain system constant urges, she could only start the car and head over to the nearest core shop. … At the chime of the door opening, Aina lifted her head and smiled cheerfully at the figure walking into the shop. “Miss Austen.” She immediately left whatever she was doing and walked over to Sylvia. This was their shop's top-tier VIP client; how could she let her wait? “Hello.” Sylvia nodded at Aina in greeting. “Miss Sylvia, our warehouse has just been filled with a large batch of new orders. So we have several high-tier beast cores that can meet your satisfaction this time around.” She began to introduce. “Is that so?” Sylvia looked at the tab and saw that indeed there were several numbers of top-tier beast cores available for sale. She soon began to make her pick. Minutes later, Aina could be seen happily escorting Sylvia out of the door with a big smile on her face. “Thank you so much for your patronage, Miss Austen.” “Hmmm.” Sylvia hummed and walked over to where her hovercar was parked. As soon as she got into the car, the box in her hand began to tremble. Sylvia knew that this was Susu absorbing the energy of the cores. “How is your strength now?” [Good, but it hasn't yet reached thirty percent of my previous strength.] Hearing this, Sylvia felt grateful to have left the affairs of the company in the hands of Uncle Mike. Otherwise, she fears that she might have announced bankruptcy, all due to this energy sucking hole inside of her. “Alright. This time around, try to conserve your strength more. Unless there is a fatal emergency that requires you to make use of your energy, don't ever use it.” It would be bad if Susu were to fall into another deep sleep again. [Okay. Uhm, host.] “Yes.” [Never mind. Once we arrive home, I will inform you about it.] Sylvia didn't pay much thought to Susu's hesitation and started the car. The black hovercar flew across the bustling city, heading straight towards the elite area where a villa mansion stood. Sensing the arrival of the familiar car, the parking driveway door opened automatically, allowing the black hovercar to park inside the garage. Sylvia reached for the empty box beside her and got out of the car. On her way to the front door, she noticed an unfamiliar hovercar parked in front of the house. She guessed it must belong to a visitor who had come to visit someone in the neighborhood and didn't think much of it. She walked over to the door and keyed in the password before pushing it open. As she stepped into the house, Sylvia instantly noticed that there was something off about the atmosphere in the room. She had never been a fan of fragrances and barely used any unless on occasional outings. But who can tell her why the air smells of deep rose perfume fragrance? Her senses were immediately alerted, and she carefully looked around the room. Suddenly, she detected a sound coming from the kitchen. ‘Is there someone at home?’ Sylvia knew that the probability of that person being Asher was zero, as the little guy still had a few hours left before he closed from school. So, this only leaves one option. Robbery. [I wanted to inform you about it earlier, but the person seems to know the door password. Hence, I thought it must be someone close to the previous host.] ‘But didn't I ask you to change the permission of the door to only Uncle Mike, Asher, and me?’ [Yes.] Susu hurriedly answered. [That was before the door that was replaced. When the repairman came to fix the door, it kind of skipped my mind to change the permissions code, leading to the woman entering the house with the old password.] From the asserted pronoun, Sylvia instantly knew that the visitor was a woman. She took a step forward and walked over to the kitchen. There, she saw a black-haired woman, dressed in a red gown, casually sitting on the kitchen stool with a bowl of ice cream in her hands. Her appearance was stunning. Most especially the bold red lipstick she wore on her lips, which gave her a look of seductive feelings. However, searching through the previous host's memories, she has no recollection of such a person. Who could she be? “Who are you?” The woman, hearing the voice, lifted her head and then realized that there was someone else in the kitchen. With their eyes locked, Sylvia carefully inspected the woman's appearance, but she still couldn't make any recollection of it. “Looking at your stature, you must be Sylvia.” The woman put down the bowl of ice cream on the kitchen table and stood up. “And you are?” “Me?” Her lips parted, revealing her pearls of white teeth. “I'm your aunt.”
