Chapter 113 Aviva's Humiliation

The year one students all witnessed this unfold before them. “Why is Sylvia over there? Doesn't she know that spot is meant for the year three students?” “Whoa, I can't believe that she's this rich to be able to afford the expensive price of the newly released RAFA mobile home.” “What's there to not believe? Please remember that she previously attended Roland Academy before transferring here to Hermes Academy.” One of the students explained. “Tch, who cares whether she's rich or not?” A female student from the year one class sneered. “All I see is an arrogant person trying to flaunt her wealth.” Listening to their conversation, Mia felt like moving elsewhere. Then again, that was impossible to do since this spot was meant for their class gathering. Thus, she could only get up and move away from their midst. The students caught Mia leaving the group. Their heart was instantly fueled with anger when recalling how she had embarrassed them in the classroom some days ago. In the middle of her stroll, Mia unexpectedly comes across someone she would never expect to meet. “Oh, Mia,” Aviva spoke, staring at the girl who was once her follower. “Looks like you have been doing great during my departure.” Mia didn't respond to Aviva’s greetings, but there was a subtle frown on her face when she saw that her pathway was being blocked by Aviva and her group of girls. Seeing that none of them were making any attempt to leave the road soon, she could only take a step to the side and marched past them. Aviva saw that Mia didn't riposte to her greetings, but she wasn't bothered about it. A low chuckle escaped from her mouth.“Who is she?” One of the girls beside her asked. Aviva's expression rapidly switched to that of a flattery look the moment she turned around to answer the girl. “Her name is Mia. She was my classmate back in Hermes Academy.” “Hermes academy? Isn't that the lowly academy that trash, Sylvia also attended?” The girl's expression transformed to that of disdain at the mention of Sylvia's name. “Ah.” Aviva's eyes lit up like a light bulb when she detected the golden opportunity presented in front of her. She immediately took the chance of getting closer to the girl and asked, “Do you also have a vendetta with Sylvia, Ms. Charvi?” Charvi's expression returned to that of her usual look. However, her eyes moved sideways and she gave Aviva a cold glare. “How dare a dog ask its master a question? Just be the obedient dog you are and never dare butt into my matter again.” Aviva's expression instantly went pale and she lowered her head in apology. “Forgive me, Ms. Charvi. I'll never dare to question you anymore.” Charvi let out a mocking smile when she saw how lowly Aviva was acting. “Kowtow to me three times, and I'll forgive you.” Aviva became shock when she heard this. She couldn't help lifting her head, starring at Charvi with a horror look. “What?” Charvi glanced at her imperturbably. “Can't do it?” A mischievous smile was portrayed on her lips. The girls behind Charvi began to laugh, also wanting to see Aviva make a mockery of herself. “I…” Aviva's palm tightened. “Do you mean in private or…” Her voice faltered at the end. “Of course. You certainly do know what I mean, right?” Charvi sneered. She had never liked Aviva from the beginning. With her background, it was easy for her to find out about anybody's private life. As such, she was aware of all the evil deeds Aviva had done since a young age. Who would have thought that this teenage girl had smoldered a girl's face when she was still in middle school, all because the latter was more beautiful than her? An evil person, she would certainly not keep them by her side. However, since she has been used to having many people following her, Charvi didn't refuse Aviva's intention of becoming one of her dogs. As long as the dog is obedient, she wouldn't mind taking it in. But it seems like Aviva was a dog that needed to be put on a leash. Who knows when the latter would bite back its master? Aviva's face became even more pale at Charvi’s response. She was unwilling. She was really unwilling. She wouldn't have minded if she was being disgraced by Charvi and her group in private. But letting her kowtowing to her in public, she was really unwilling. Her nails dug painfully into her palm. “What's taking you so long in obeying my command?” Charvi gently blew on her nails as she spoke. “I guess she feels she's too big to kowtow to you, Ms. Charvi.” One of the girls beside Charvi spoke. “Do you want us to discipline her for you, ma'am?” Another was ready to make a move on command. 'How dare this trashy girl disobey Ms. Charvi's order. Let's see if she still doesn't submit once I beat her up to a pulp.' “No.” Charvi declined the girl’s offer. “That would be too much of a hassle and attention.” There were teachers here, she didn't want her reputation to be ruined in front of them. Her gaze turned back to Aviva. “Well, it seems like…” 'Plop.' The loud sound of knees hitting the ground fell into the girl’s ears. Followed after it was the incessant bang to the ground. Bang, bang, band.' Aviva knocked her head to the ground repeatedly in a kowtowing position.“Please forgive me, Ms. Charvi. I'll forever be your obedient dog. If you tell me to turn left, I will never disobey you.” She kept knocking her to the ground until a red bruise appeared on her forehead. The students who were walking by were stunned by her shocking action. “Oh my, what's going on there? Is there some kind of theater art performance taking place?” “Tsk, tsk.” A female student clicked her tongue, seeing this. “Did she just say obedient dog? Gosh, that’s so embarrassing.” “Wait a minute, I think she looks familiar. Isn't that Aviva?” Hearing the relentless murmuring around her, Aviva became so ashamed that she wished the ground would open up and swallow her whole. She could feel the sharp pain brought her long nails piercing into her skin, due to how hard she was clenching her fist. Endure. Endure. She kept repeating. Her parent's company was already on the brink of collapse. To salvage it from destruction, her father had used their last lifeline to enroll her into Roland Academy. The students here were all from distinguished families. To make connections with them would be a lifesaver for her family. Charvi was her first target since it was much easier to get closer to her than the other students. However, she really hates this girl who thinks she's on top of the world. 'Once the company situation is back on track, I promise you Charvi, you're going to regret humiliating me today.' ===Ian followed the wave of crowds as he entered the camping ground. “The activities here look even more bustling than in the last year,” He said as he detected some noticeable brand name stalls set up around the area. “Yeah.” Colton, who was walking behind him, answered. The two began to head toward the Roland Academy campground. The newly arriving students were already setting up their tents. They were all big and luxurious. Some even order a mobile home to be delivered to them just like Sylvia had done. They were expecting to be faced with the envious look of the students from other academies. Unfortunately for them, they were doomed to be disappointed as Sylvia's newly released RAFA mobile home had already stolen the show of the day even before their arrival. In the center of the campground, a massive tent was set up, almost taking the shape of a huge mansion. The outside was lavishly furnished with luxurious decor. Two royal guards stood straight at the entrance, guarding the door. The students all knew that this lavish tent belonged to the crown prince, so there wasn't any sort of envy in their heart when they saw the massive tent. Ian arrived in front of the tent and the two stationed guards salute him in greetings. “Come on, let's go inside.” He waved at Colton as he began to head inside. However, his steps suddenly paused when he realized that Colton wasn't following him. Seeing him standing in the same spot, he asked, “What's wrong?” Both he and Colton had always been sharing the same tent every summer event. So, it was weird for him to suddenly back out now. “I…” Colton couldn't stop his thoughts from wandering. It doesn't matter how hard he tries to bewitch himself; he knows that the truth will always prevail. His brother was a… 'No, no. I can't think about it. My heart hurts whenever I think of it.' “I won't be following you in.” He finally struggled to say. ‘That's right, brother. I've to protect my chastity. And besides, I'm only interested in ladies like Layla.’ Of course, there's no way he would say that out loud. “I don't want to keep taking advantage of you every time. So, I will be setting up my tent to sleep in. Bye, brother.” Colton immediately jogged away, without waiting for Ian's reply. He was afraid that if he stayed back longer, he wouldn't be able to stop his mouth from rambling. Ian could see that Colton was hiding something from him. No matter how hard he persuaded him to tell him what was wrong, the latter would only look upon him with a weird expression. As a result, he stopped asking him. But now, he felt that the two of them needed to have a deep talk. Without Colton by his side, Ian felt lonely as he walked into the huge tent by himself. The moment he sat on the bed, he felt something hard poking against his thigh. He immediately reached into his pocket and brought out a small box. The box was very identical to the black box he had shown to Sylvia back in the virtual net. 'Click.' The lid of the box opened, revealing the beautiful necklace that lay beneath. “She should be here too, right?” Every summer holiday event was a compulsory activity, so Sylvia would certainly be here. Ian gently caressed the necklace, and a beautiful smile formed on his lips. If Colton were here, he would have screamed because the expression on Ian’s face right now was identical to the one he revealed to the handsome guy in the virtual net. “I promised to her that I'll give her the necklace when next we meet. I don't know, but I actually do want to see her face right now.” Ian didn't know when his legs began to move on their own. Soon, a figure dashes out of the tent, in joy of wanting to see a certain person.
