Interstellar Businesswoman Tycoon
In a fancy restaurant, a waiter dressed in black trousers and a white shirt put down a round white plate onto the long table filled with different signature dishes. Once done, he stepped to the sides and began to explain the meaning behind the names of the complex cuisines to the VIP guests. “Please enjoy.” Rounding up his explanation, he puts his hand to his chest and gives a slight bow before excusing himself out of the private room. The excited guest which surely was their first time being here stared in marveled at the different varieties of dishes before them. “Wow, I’ve heard that this restaurant is owned by a company from a first-rate planet. As a result, it’s very hard to get a reservation here unless you’re from a powerful background.” Ian nodded in agreement when he heard Walker's words of awe. “So, tell me, boss. What sort of secret identity do you have for you to be able to reserve a whole private room for this gathering?” Walker’s eyes were filled with a look of admiration as he gazes towards Tyron. Ian likewise knew how difficult it is to get a reservation in a restaurant owned by Mel’s corporation. He had tried to do so once but was unfortunately rejected. Before the coming of Creamery Creamer, Mel’s corporation was the apex of the food industry. Their name is a renowned one throughout the entire universe. The Mel's corporation first began as a family business before then becoming a universal business. It’s very well-known that Mel’s family has an ancient secret food recipe that has been passed down to thousands of generations. Because of this historical fact in their hands, the federation held the family in high regard. The interference of the federation pushed Mel’s corporation into the limelight. Everyone in the universe wants to have a taste of these ancient delicacies. However, due to its luxurious class, not many could dine here. Although the establishment of Creamery Creamer seems to have crippled its top position, Mel's corporation is still known for its unique class. “It wasn't that hard.” Said Tyron, as he answered Walker’s question. He looked in the direction of Miley and caught the look of shock written on her face. A gleam flickered across his eyes and a sense of fulfillment well up in his heart. The reservation of this private room was given to him as a reward. He had intended to use it for a special moment between him and Miley. Who would have thought that it would come in handy now? “Let's dig in.” He spoke. Sylvia reached for the utensils beside her and began to eat. The dishes were unlike the earth dishes she was familiar with. They didn’t emit any aroma so it was unsure whether they were good or not. The waiter had explained that the aura of the dishes was contained to prevent them from scattering around as this might decrease the quality of the dishes. Although their appearance looked appealing, she decided to trust her mouth first. “Hmm.” Her eyes instantly widened in both shock and astonishment the moment she took a bite. She wasn’t the only one feeling such shock. The others also began to express their amusement. “Damm, this is so good!” Miley expressed as she took another bite. “Yeah." Sylvia nodded in assent. The food left a sweet savory taste in one’s mouth longing them to take another bite. It does seem like the sealing of food aura does improve the quality of food. If it wasn't for Susu being her big cheat, Mel’s corporation would still be standing at the apex of the food industry. “You should be in high school too, right Ian?” asked Ryker amid their dining. Ian put down his utensil and nodded in answer. “Then you must be done with school exams like Sylvia has. What do you plan on doing during your holiday?” Ryker inquired. “Not sure. Probably training by myself I guess.” Ian shrugged off his shoulder as he spoke. “Oh, wouldn’t that be too boring? We’ll be undertaking a task located in the deeper wilds. Why don't you come join us?” “What the heck are you spouting about?” Jose, who sat beside Ryker gave the other party a hard nudge on the shoulder. Who here doesn't know about how Ian almost lost his life in the wilds the last time? “Do not take his words to heart. He is just spewing out nonsense.” Ian, seeing this, understood their troubles and gave a smile. “Why did you shove me that hard? I just think it would be too boring for him to train alone. Wouldn’t it be more exciting if he were to join us?” “Exciting your head. Hey, why don't you just stuff your mouth with some food.” Milo picked some vegetable leaves from the plates and stuffed them into Ryker's mouth. “You're starting to become more loquacious like Walker.” “Hey, I'm the innocent one here. Why would you shoot me in the heart like that.” Walker said with a look of grievance. “Okay, okay. Enough with the chattering. Let's just eat our food.” Gael spoke out. “Oh yeah, that reminds me. Why do I keep getting this feeling that I’ve seen your face somewhere else before, Sylvia?” Miley leaned closer, scrutinizing Sylvia's face all over. “It just looks a bit familiar.” “That’s right. I thought I was the only one who noticed this.” Atlas also gazes at Sylvia’s appearance. “Could we have come across each other in the virtual net when we were still strangers?” “I don’t think so. Sylvia’s mental strength is at the C rank. And since this is our first time coming to the lower zone, we shouldn’t have met each other unless she has access to the A zone which is impossible.” Miley analyzed. “However, the feeling of deja vu in me keeps getting stronger. Wow, this is crazy.” “There's nothing to be fanatical about,” Sylvia said. “You must have come across this face of mine somewhere inside the virtual net or in the physical world since the image being used as the brand ambassador looks for creamery creamer products is this.” She waves her hand across her face in a gesture. Her curled lips gave one the impression that she was smiling. However, if they looked closely, they would see that she wasn’t smiling, but just a designated trait the face she wore bore. “Ah-ha, I remember to have come across one of their advertisement boards. No wonder I felt that you looked familiar.” Miley’s eyes brighten in realization. “Yeah.” The round table was soon filled with constant chatter. On occasion, the conversation would shift toward Ian, making him feel included in the gathering. At this, everyone became familiar with each other. Most especially Sylvia. A bit of her restrictive shield seems to have loosened after this gathering.
