Stronger Every Time I Die

Chapter 580 The Executioner Arrives

Despite all their desperate flattery, Falls acted as though he hadn’t heard a word. He swept his eyes over the crowd with icy impatience and coldly spat, “Move.” A simple command—two syllables, flat and sharp. But with his military bearing and the intimidating presence he carried from years in special forces, it was enough to make everyone instinctively flinch and shuffle backward. An awkward silence settled over them. No one dared talk back to Falls. Solivair, trying to recover from the tension, forced an awkward smile. “I’m sure you have important business, Mr. Falls. But once you’re finished, would you consider joining me for a drink? I’ve got some excellent aged wine I’ve been saving just for you!” His tone was overly cautious, the kind of careful reverence one might use to speak to a loaded gun. Falls wasn’t nicknamed the Cold Reaper for nothing. His combat skills were unmatched, swift and brutal. And more importantly, he operated under the personal authority of Mr. Drake. If anyone provoked him—even someone like Solivair—he could kill without consequence. In the eyes of Heaven’s Cult, taking down a man like Solivair was as simple as sipping tea. They wouldn’t even blink. But Falls didn’t even glance at him. He walked straight toward Arthur. The crowd scattered immediately, making way without a word. Their eyes, however, sparkled with malicious delight. Solivair, on the other hand, broke into a cold sweat. Wait—what if Falls is here to execute Arthur on the spot? The thought jolted him. Driven by panic and the obsession to find Lynn, Solivair did something no one expected—he threw himself in front of Falls and blocked his path.Face contorted with worry, he begged, “Mr. Falls! Arthur and Ashley didn’t mean to trespass! I’ll have them step out immediately. Please don’t take it to heart—spare their lives, and punish them however you wish!” He was trembling, nearly on his knees. Inwardly, Solivair was cursing Arthur and Ashley with every fiber of his being. These damned brats! What were they doing in that courtyard?! Now he was risking his own life just to shield them. If Falls lost his temper and slit his throat on the spot, he’d haunt them forever. If it weren’t for Lynn, Solivair seethed, I’d have killed Arthur the moment I laid eyes on him! Every fiber of his being screamed to put a bullet in that kid’s head. Just behind him, the other elites sensed an opportunity. Solivair was getting in the way—perfect timing for them to score points with Falls. They immediately began shouting in mock outrage. “Solivair! You dare interfere with Mr. Falls? Do you have a death wish?” “Have you lost your mind? How dare you question Mr. Falls’ authority?” “Your guests trespassed into a sacred garden. You should be worrying about saving your own skin!” “Still begging for mercy? Solivair, your arrogance is unbelievable!” “Mr. Falls doesn’t need you pleading for him. Who do you think you are?” Each jab was a calculated move to curry favor, each insult meant to stomp on Solivair while lifting themselves higher. Solivair’s face darkened with humiliation. But he didn’t have time to argue. Arthur’s survival was all that mattered. If Arthur died now, how would he ever find Lynn? He had spent days searching the island, but Heaven Island wasn’t like the mainland—he had no authority here, no reach. He couldn’t even move freely to investigate. Now that he finally had Arthur in his sights, he couldn’t let him die over a misunderstanding.Even Solivair hadn’t expected Falls to appear here—he was usually glued to Mr. Drake’s side like a shadow. If he’d known Falls would come, he’d never have spent time mocking Arthur. He would’ve dragged him out the moment the incident started. Spinning around, Solivair barked at Arthur in desperation, “Arthur! Get out here and apologize to Mr. Falls! Do you really not care if you live or die?!” He was drowning in regret. He should’ve warned Arthur the moment they got on the island to never, ever wander off. Arthur, still standing behind the gate, stared in shock. This entire scene had given him a very different understanding of who Falls really was.
