Stronger Every Time I Die

Chapter 300 Fusion University

Zane said, "You have to trust me on this. After the humiliation we suffered at Arthur’s hands, if we simply settle them somewhere else, how will we monitor and use them in real-time?" "Hmph, is it really just about using them?" Zoey shot him a sideways glance. "Of course! I swear! Back then, my interest in Raelynn was nothing more than a passing fancy. So many years have passed, I don’t have even the slightest feeling for her anymore." Zane’s expression was sincere. Zoey looked at him for a moment before saying nothing more. Something flickered in Stephen’s eyes before he spoke. "That’s right, mom, grandma. The humiliation we endured at Arthur’s hands shook the Yarbrough family’s status in Seacity. Now that a weapon has fallen into our laps, why wouldn’t we use it?" Xylia sighed but held her tongue. She still didn’t like Raelynn and her daughters, but the Yarbrough residence was big enough. As long as they stayed out of her way, she could put up with them. In South City, Arthur and Ashley sat together, reviewing a report sent by Stanley. Raelynn and her daughters had actually moved into the Yarbrough residence. Stephen was not the kind of person to be so generous. Just as Arthur was deep in thought, a sudden knock on the door broke the silence. Arthur raised an eyebrow and exchanged a glance with Ashley. Who would be knocking at this hour? He got up first and walked to the door, opening it to find several well-dressed men in suits standing outside. Unlike business professionals, they all had a scholarly air about them. The moment they saw Arthur, one of them smiled brightly. "Arthur, I finally found you!" Arthur frowned in confusion. "And you are?" "Oh!" The man quickly introduced himself. "Allow me to introduce myself, we’re from Fusion University’s admissions office. My name is Sebastian." As he spoke, he and the others took out their identification badges. The words "Fusion University Admissions Director" stood out in bold letters. Once Arthur and Ashley had a clear look, Sebastian put his badge away and continued. "We’re here to talk about enrollment. We’ve reviewed both of your SAT scores, and our university is highly impressed with your talent. We are officially inviting you to enroll. Would you be interested? It took us quite a while to track you down. Your whereabouts kept changing, and we only just managed to locate you today." He paused before adding, "After careful consideration, our faculty has decided that if you enroll, your tuition will be completely covered. Additionally, we’re offering a scholarship of 70,000 dollars and one-on-one mentorship with a professor." As he spoke, he pulled out an enrollment form. "Arthur, if you’re interested, just fill this out, and when the semester starts, you can simply report to campus." Arthur and Ashley stood frozen in shock. Fusion University! It was one of the world’s top finance universities, a dream school for countless students. Fusion University was renowned for its elite faculty and rigorous academic environment. It was said that even students with weak foundations could thrive there, and no graduate ever failed to succeed. Yet, the university was famously selective. Money couldn’t buy admission, they upheld a strict merit-based policy, only accepting students with extraordinary talent. Fusion University’s stringent admission criteria had deterred many aspiring students over the years. Arthur, having experienced rebirth, was well aware of future developments. He knew his SAT performance had been unique, but he never expected it would attract the attention of Fusion University! Not only that, but the admissions director himself had spent weeks searching for him! And now, he was standing right at his doorstep with an official invitation, offering a full ride and an enormous scholarship! Arthur and Ashley had been constantly on the move, keeping their whereabouts hidden. Hardly anyone knew where they were staying. It was only after their engagement ceremony in Seacity that Sebastian had managed to track them down. However, by the time he arrived in Seacity, Arthur and Ashley were already gone. But at least they had left a trace. Following that lead, the admissions team had finally caught up with them here. Ashley looked at Arthur, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She had known their SAT scores were exceptional, but she never imagined they would catch Fusion University’s attention! Arthur was destined for the business world. As for Ashley, she had her own aspirations, but she wanted to stay by Arthur’s side. Wherever he went, she would follow. This is perfect timing!
