Raelynn had always wanted to take revenge on John, but after so many years of living as a wealthy socialite, she had never been involved in the company’s affairs. She took a deep breath. "Renee was my friend when we were young. I always had a feeling something wasn’t right between them, but I never imagined John would actually have an affair with her!" When Raelynn first confirmed the truth, she couldn’t believe it. Renee had been kind-hearted and pure, always helping others. Even though John’s gaze toward Renee had been suspicious back then, Renee had reassured her that they were only friends. Raelynn hadn’t given it much thought. Zac had tricked Julie into signing over shares and had then attempted to transfer them to his mother. It was clear what his true intentions were. After everything they had gone through, they finally saw the truth. Arthur remained unmoved as he watched Raelynn’s supposed remorse. If she had truly had the right mindset, will she have been so easily manipulated by John and Zac? She had never once considered that Arthur was her son when she had mistreated him. People said that no parent could truly hate their own child, but all Arthur had ever seen in them was self interest. Before, she had pampered Zac and belittled him to win John’s favour.
