The Despised Luna's Comeback
Rosaline's POV: I had just finished breakfast and was about to head to Starplay Entertainment when I received a call from Ryan. "Rosie, Yura had a bit of an incident last night. Can you come and check on her?" Ryan spoke in a low voice, and he seemed to be in a bad mood. I quickly asked, "What happened?" Ryan briefly explained the misunderstanding that occurred between him, Kristy, and Yura. He said, "Rosie, you know how I feel about Yura. Kristy and I really have nothing going on. But Yura, being pregnant, is prone to overthinking. No matter how I explain it to her, she won't listen." "Alright, I understand. I'll go talk to Yura." I rubbed my forehead, saying, "But Ryan, while work is important, you also need to be more conscious about Yura's feelings, especially since she's pregnant." "I know, Rosie. I will make things clear with Kristy," Ryan said earnestly. After hanging up the phone, I drove to see Yura. "Rosaline? What brings you here?" Yura was surprised to see me. I entered the room and smiled gently, "I heard from Ryan that you were in the hospital last night, so I came to check on you." Yura's eyes darkened. "Ryan, he ... " "Ryan has told me that there is nothing between him and Kristy." I patted Yura on the shoulder and comforted her, "I have known Ryan for so many years. I know what kind of person he is. Although he may seem a bit carefree at times, he is devoted when it comes to relationships. Yura, don't overthink it. Have confidence in yourself and in Ryan." I continued to analyze and told her. "Actually, if you think about it carefully, the person who anonymously sent you the photos must have wanted you to misunderstand Ryan and ruin your relationship. If you really get into a fight with Ryan because of this, wouldn't you be falling into the trap?" "Yeah." Yura nodded lightly. I comforted Yura for a while before driving to Starplay Entertainment and starting a busy day. ... "The report for this quarter must be submitted to me by the end of this week." I glanced at my watch and coldly addressed the department managers in front of me. Everyone nodded, and I ended the meeting. "Ms. Sinclair, Sidney has already sent the customized script to your email." The assistant was organizing the meeting materials and informed me. "So fast?" I was surprised, considering that it had only been a few days since I asked the company to contact the screenwriter, and the script was already written. "Sidney said that this script originally had a major plot point, and after reviewing your requirements, he immediately wrote the script." The assistant nodded and smiled. Upon hearing this, I nodded in satisfaction. Sidney Tanner was also a well-known screenwriter in the industry, with many successful works to his name. I have collaborated with him on several projects, so I am confident in the quality of the script. Just as I returned to the office, my phone rang. Seeing the name Caden Holbrook flashing on the screen, I felt a sweet sensation in my heart. "Hello? Caden," I gently called his name. "Are you busy?" Caden's voice, deep and soothing, came through from the phone. "Just finished a meeting, looking at the new script we discussed for Naomi and Jasper," I said, opening the email to review the script. "What do you feel like eating tonight?" Caden said with his magnetic voice. I took my hand off the mouse and rested it on my cheek, with a hint of playfulness in my tone. "What's this, Mr. Holbrook? Are you coming to pick me up? Do you miss me?" There was silence on the other end of the phone, and I chuckled to myself, imagining Caden's expression. But what I didn't expect was for Caden to say, "Yes, I miss you." Caden was usually cool and composed, but he seemed shamelessly bold in front of me. Thinking of this, I chuckled out loud. On the other end, Caden heard me and couldn't help but chuckle as well. "Mr. Holbrook, here are the documents you requested," Yale's voice came through the receiver. I thought to myself, this Beta always seems to interrupt us at the most inconvenient times. I could only helplessly say, "I'll be waiting for you tonight."Caden acknowledged with a hum before hanging up the phone. I shifted my gaze back to the computer, this time working on a script tailored for Naomi and Jasper called My Youth, My Choice. It told the story of the male and female leads from school to society, from innocence to maturity, exploring love, friendship, and family. Behind the seemingly whimsical plot lies profound meaning. I was very satisfied with this script, especially considering the recent popularity of Naomi and Jasper. This play was sure to bring in good profits. With that in mind, I contacted their agents to come and pick up the script.
