The Despised Luna's Comeback

Chapter 595 Kristy's Seduction

Ryan's POV: When Zera saw Yura and me getting out of bed so late in the morning, she was visibly displeased. Crossing her arms, she frowned and said, "What time is it now? I've reheated breakfast in the kitchen multiple times already." Yura held onto my arm, shrinking behind me in silence. "Zera, I wasn’t feeling well this morning," I said, shielding Yura. "Yura stayed with me to help, so please don’t blame her." Seeing my insistence, Zera could only press her lips together and reply tersely, "Enough of that. Let's just eat." Yura sat quietly at the table, saying nothing. Zera looked at the sneak preview of Kristy and me filming the MV and said with a smile, "You and Kristy look so perfect together. You really fit the MV's concept." Under the table, I took Yura's hand in mine, silently telling her not to overthink Zera's words. When neither of us responded, Zera, finding no agreement, left in anger. I spent the entire day with Yura, only leaving for the filming location when dusk fell. "We're shooting night scenes today, so I'll be back late," I said, pressing a deep kiss to Yura's forehead. "Don't wait up for me." "Okay," Yura responded softly. When I arrived at the MV shooting scene, Kristy immediately rushed over with a script in hand. "Ryan, I bought you coffee!" I gave a slight nod but maintained my distance from Kristy. Filming continued from evening until late at night. I began feeling tired, but Kristy remained strangely energetic, occasionally stealing glances at me. I wasn't unaware of Kristy's little actions—I just chose to pretend not to notice. As the night deepened, the crew gradually thinned out. "Good work today, Ryan," Mr. Cooper said, indicating my shoot was done. "Yeah," I replied flatly, putting on my suit jacket as I prepared to leave. My thoughts were with Yura—was she asleep yet? "Ryan, I feel so dizzy ... " Kristy suddenly swayed and collapsed to the ground. The crew panicked. "Kristy ... ! Kristy ... ! What's wrong? Wake up!" I was slightly shocked, unable to tell if Kristy was faking it. But considering we'd grown up together and our families were close, I couldn't just leave her there. I went over and helped her up. "Ryan ... " Kristy woke weakly and hugged me. "I want to go home ... " No one on set knew Kristy's address, so they all looked at me. "Mr. Cooper, I'll take her home," I said with a quiet sigh. Since we were longtime neighbors, I decided to see her home—but I resolved to leave immediately after dropping her off. During the ride, Kristy leaned against the passenger seat, complaining of discomfort while subtly pulling down her clothes. "Ryan ... Ryan ..." she kept murmuring my name. I remained unmoved, driving coldly without reaction. "Ryan ... I like you ..." Kristy suddenly confessed with her eyes closed. Pretending not to hear, I said calmly, "We're almost at your place. I'll bring you to lobby." Kristy had been trying to seduce me the whole ride. Worried she'd escalate things if I went upstairs, I decided to just drop her at the lobby. "Get some rest," I said, dropping Kristy off in the lobby without looking back. I ignored her frustrated foot-stomping as I walked away. Just like that, her dizziness was gone—proof it had all been an act. Yura's POV: I waited at home for what felt like ages, but Ryan still hadn't returned. A growing unease settled in my chest. Though Ryan had told me not to wait, I just couldn't get to fall asleep. How could it be this late and Ryan still wasn't home?Pacing anxiously across the living room, I kept glancing at the door until my eyes grew sore. Every call I made to his phone went straight to voicemail. "Could something have happened?" The thought sent fresh waves of panic through me. Before Zera could notice Ryan's absence, I slipped out and ordered the werewolf driver to take me to the filming location. "To the filming location now, hurry up." The werewolf driver took one look at my frantic expression and immediately complied. The filming location stood dark and abandoned when we arrived, not a single light breaking the gloom. Forgotten props lay toppled on the ground, adding to the desolate atmosphere. Anxiety tightened in my chest as I searched the abandoned lot, desperate to find even a single person who might know where Ryan had gone. But the place was completely lifeless. Then my phone buzzed abruptly. Heart leaping, I fumbled to answer—only to find an anonymous message with attached photos. The images showed—Ryan was helping Kristy, smiling as they walked towards her home.
