The Despised Luna's Comeback

Chapter 492 Kidnap Heidi

Tyler's voice came through the phone. "Queenie, what's going on?" I was consumed by a singular thought: I had to make Heidi pay. I cut straight to the point, speaking with icy resolve. "I need you to do something for me. Kidnap Heidi. You know who she is, right?" Tyler hesitated for a moment before replying, "Yeah, I know. She's the one getting engaged to your cousin, right? That's all over the news. "But ... " Tyler trailed off, his tone uncertain. "But what? Spit it out," I snapped, irritation creeping into my voice. His tone lightened, but there was a seriousness in his words. "Kidnapping isn't something to take lightly, Queenie. If you want me to go through with this, I will. But here's the catch—I'm taking a big risk for you. If it works out, I want you to be my girlfriend. That's the deal. Will you accept?" My lips pressed into a tight line, my brow furrowing slightly. I knew Tyler had feelings for me, but I had never felt that way about him. He was the heir to a small wolf pack, but I always saw him as a backup, never considering him seriously. In my eyes, no one could compare to Caden, and it was only him that I truly wanted. But now, Tyler had me cornered. I didn't want to agree to his terms, but I didn't have much choice. He was the only one who would go this far for me, the loyal simp, Tyler. "Queenie?" His voice brought me back to the moment, and I reluctantly replied. "You did say the deal comes after the job is done, right? It'll depend on how you handle it. If you actually kidnap Heidi, then ... " I clenched my teeth. "I'll agree to your condition." Although my answer was vague, Tyler took it as a promise. He laughed with satisfaction and replied, "You've got yourself a deal. Wait for my message." After hanging up, I exhaled deeply, a sense of triumph washing over me. Heidi wouldn't see this coming. I would show her what I was capable of! Heidi's POV:The engagement ceremony was tonight, and I needed to double-check that everything at the bridal shop was set. It was already 4:00 p.m., with just a few hours left before the event. Amy and the others had already headed back to the bar. At 4:30 p.m., I left the bridal shop, feeling cheerful, only to be suddenly ambushed by a group of werewolves. One of them grabbed me from behind, clamping his hand over my mouth, while the other two kept watch, making sure no one noticed. I struggled, but it was pointless. They dragged me toward a van. Inside the van, panic set in as I tried to speak, my words muffled by the hand over my mouth. "Who are you? What do you want? You should know I'm—" Before I could finish, one of the werewolves slapped duct tape across my mouth and tied my hands behind my back with more tape. "You've only got yourself to blame for messing with the wrong person," one of them muttered coldly. I was terrified. I didn't know what was happening, and all I could do was make muffled noises. The van drove further and further, eventually pulling into an abandoned warehouse on the edge of town. They roughly yanked me from the van and shoved me into the warehouse, sending me tumbling to the cold, hard floor. I looked around in panic, instinctively trying to crawl backward. Then, out of the shadows, Queenie appeared. She looked down at me with a smug grin, her expression dark. She gave a silent signal to the werewolf standing nearby. He ripped the duct tape off my mouth with a cruel yank. The moment I saw Queenie, everything fell into place. Ignoring the pain from the tape being torn off, I glared at her, my voice shaking with rage. "Queenie! Are you out of your mind? Let me go! What are you doing?" "What am I doing?" Queenie scoffed, as if my question was laughable. "I'm just trying to see how you'll manage, now that Caden's not here to help you." Her eyes gleamed with malice, her gaze never faltering. As her words sank in, I quickly shot back, "Queenie, this is kidnapping, and you know that's a crime. Caden and I are supposed to be getting engaged tonight. If he can't find me, he'll be frantic! You have to let me go!"Queenie laughed dismissively. "Who do you think you are? Just some bar singer—do you really think you belong with us, the Eclipse Pack?" After that, her expression suddenly turned cold as she locked eyes with me. Her voice lowered to a venomous whisper. "Let me make this clear: Caden is mine. No one will take him from me." She reached behind her and pulled out a knife, the blade catching the light as she stared at me with an insane grin. "What do you think, Heidi? If your face is ruined ... do you think Caden will still want you?" My heart raced, and panic set in as I instinctively tried to back away. "Queenie, don't come any closer ... Wh-what are you planning to do? You're committing a crime!" She was completely unhinged. She had lost all sense of control. Step by step, Queenie moved closer, her eyes glinting with cold fury. "I'm going to ruin your face. Then Caden will only want me. He'll be mine forever." I had nowhere to run. Fear gripped me as I trembled, tears streaming down my face. Was I really going to die here? I couldn't accept this. As Queenie advanced, I closed my eyes in despair, overwhelmed by terror and dread.
