The Despised Luna's Comeback
Annie's POV: I had been keeping a close eye on John's every move. This man was a perverted old lecher who liked to spice things up in bed. I had to endure it to gain some minor benefits from him. But seeing John's riled-up behavior now, it was clear he had set his sights on Rosaline. That cheap Omega dares to make a move? Just wait and see how I deal with you later. John returned to the booth looking furious, his face swollen from Rosaline's slap. I quickly and tactfully tried to offer him an ice pack. But John smacked my hand away and snapped, "Get lost!" I swallowed my anger and leaned in, whispering soothingly, "Mr. John, isn't it that woman you want? I happen to know her well, and I have a way to help you get her." John was still fuming, but my words piqued his interest instantly. "Are you serious?" "Absolutely." I nodded earnestly, flashing him a knowing smile. "What's your plan?" John narrowed his eyes, his tone laced with suspicion. I leaned in closer and whispered, "It's simple. You have to ... " After a brief exchange, John's eyes lit up with understanding, and he nodded repeatedly. He reached out and pinched my chin. "Sweetheart, that's a brilliant idea." Seeing that he was convinced, I immediately cozied up to him and cooed, "Then don't forget what you promised me. Once this is done, the lead role in your next film belongs to me." "Don't worry. As long as I get her, anything is negotiable." John chuckled lecherously, his disgusting expression making me want to vomit. But if I could use this to get back at Rosaline while securing my role, why wouldn't I? "It's a deal then." I high-fived John. Rosaline, let's see how you escape my grasp this time! Rosaline's POV: "Yura, stop drinking. Let's go home."The bar was packed at this hour. After much effort, I found Yura slumped in a corner, completely wasted. "No, I'm not leaving. Let's drink more. Rosaline, drink with me." Yura was utterly intoxicated, her face flushed red, reeking of alcohol. I sighed helplessly, feeling sorry for her. Does Timothy have a heart of stone? Yura loves him so much and gives him everything, yet he disappears without a word! Seeing Yura in this state, I had no choice but to drape her arm over my shoulder and slowly help her out of the bar. Just then, Caden called me. "Rosaline, where are you?" I pulled out my phone and raised my voice to respond, "I'm at a bar, taking Yura home. She's had too much to drink. Alright, I'll talk to you when I get back." After hanging up, I tucked my phone into my pocket and focused on ensuring Yura didn't stumble or hurt herself. Two unwelcome figures blocked our way as we reached the bar's entrance. John and the bar owner. John spotted me and immediately pointed a finger, shouting at the bar owner, "Her! It's her! I just ran into her earlier and offered to buy her a drink. This filthy Omega took the opportunity to steal my necklace! It's worth 20 million! This happened in your bar, so you'd better take responsibility!" Annie, standing beside John, nodded in agreement. "That's right, I saw it too! We're talking about 20 million here! Boss, if you let this Omega go just like that, you'll be the one footing the bill." John glared at me viciously before turning to the bar owner and ordering, "Call the police! Get this Omega arrested and make her compensate for my loss!" Annie clicked her tongue and folded her arms, watching me with a smug expression full of mockery. "Oh my, isn't this Rosaline? Weren't you riding high before? What happened? Now that you don't have Eclipse Pack backing you, you've fallen so low that you're resorting to stealing in a bar? Then again, 20 million isn't a small amount. I bet that necklace will keep you living comfortably for a while." I narrowed my eyes and smirked at Annie. This idiot. After all this time, she's still just as brainless. "And aren't you here serving drinks to customers? Should you really be worrying about my business?" "You!" Annie's face turned red with anger as she glared at me, but in the end, she just huffed and turned away, then urged the bar owner again. "You heard Mr. John. A 20-million-dollar necklace is enough to keep her locked up for three to five years. Call the cops already! Or do you want to risk having your bar shut down?" I frowned at John and Annie. To me, they looked like a pair of barking dogs right now. I carefully seated Yura on a high stool before reaching for my necklace. I unclasped it, holding it up for them to see. "This necklace? It's worth 100 million. Do you really think I'd be interested in some measly 20-million-dollar trinket?"
