The Despised Luna's Comeback
Rosaline's POV: I checked the time and realized that it's almost noon. The launching ceremony for the film "The Call of the Wolf" was scheduled to start at two in the afternoon. I packed my things and took the elevator up to the 18th floor, heading towards the CEO's office, with the intention to ask for permission from Caden to take an early leave. When I thought of Caden's ice cold face after I mentioned that I would like to take the afternoon off for the ceremony, I couldn't help but feel a throb in my head. After taking a deep breath, I reached out and knocked on the door of the CEO's office. "Come in," Caden's disappasionate voice called out. I opened the door, and there sat Caden at his desk working on his task, hands busy typing away on the keyboard, and eyes focused on the screen of his laptop. They all say that a man who works diligently is the most attractive, and that couldn't be more true. His suit jacket was hanged on a coat rack, so he was only dressed in a crisp white shirt, with the top two buttons undone, revealing a strong chest. With perfect facial features as though personally and intricately crafted by the Gods, Caden's presence seemed to outshine the people around him, making it hard to keep your eyes away. I got lost in my thoughts while staring at him. "Had a good look?" He lifted his head suddenly and asked. "Um, no ... " I stuttered, caught off guard and feeling a bit embarassed. "Oh? So you haven't seen enough?" He cut in with a sarcastic tone before I could finish my sentence. Realizing that Caden had knowingly misinterpreted my words, I huffed and glowered at him, "I was not looking at you." "Oh, really? I saw everything, though," He let out a light chuckle and strode in front of me, before pulling me into his office and closed the door behind us. The sudden proximity between us made me flush, so I quickly pushed him away and cleared my throat, "I'm here to request for a leave.""For the launching ceremony?" Caden used his advantage in height and stared down at me, his face a carefully blank mask. "Yes," I nodded. "I can take you there," He blurted out all of a sudden. My eyes rounded in surprise, "Wait, what? You're not objecting anymore?" This was not the same response that I received when I made the same request this morning. His ice cold disapproval was still fresh in my mind. And now the sudden change of heart? Even offering to bring me there? Hell has frozen over, surely. Sensing my confusion, Caden gave me a wry look. He bent down slightly and lowered his head next to my ear, and muttered, "I should behave better, right? This way, you would agree to my proposal sooner." The way his breath tickled my ears with every syllable, paired with his deliberately drawn-out tone, everything was just way too much for me. My face heated up even more. Caden's POV: I watched as Rosaline's eyes darted around and her cheeks slowly turned pink in embarassment. All of her reactions were so incredibly adorable and enticing to me. I couldn't hold myself back any longer, leaning down and pulling her into a searing kiss. My bold and sudden advances made her froze in shock, giving me the opportunity to deepen the kiss, greedily savouring the sweetness in her mouth. She began gasping for air, hands raised to the front of my chest in an attempt to push me away, but her resistance only stroke the flames of my desire further. I nibbled on her lips as I slid my slender fingers into her blouse. I placed my hand on one of the soft mounds, wanting to tease the rosy nipple, when I felt a hitch in Rosaline's breath. She grabbed a hold of my hand and pushed me away forcefully. "Stop it!" "Rosaline, what do I have to do for you to come back to my side?" I asked her, staring fervently at the woman in front of me, almost desperate. My patience was thinning, and I can't wait any longer for her to come back to me. I had never felt this way before. Throughout my life, I have always gotten what I wanted. When it came to women, there were plenty of them who wanted to climb into my bed, but I never spared them a glance. Back then, my heart was set on Tessa; there was no one else but her for me. But ever since Rosaline came into the picture, I only have eyes for her. She took up that empty space in my heart, leaving no room for other people, including Tessa. I want her so badly. I want to build a family with her and grow old together. I will protect her for a lifetime, making her the luckiest and happiest woman in the world. However, all my approaches were met with her rejection. My eyes were still fixed on Rosaline's face as I put my hands on her shoulder, my eyes gleaming with a passion that was unlike my usual aloof self as I pleaded, "Rosaline, please, come back to me."
