The Despised Luna's Comeback
As Michael and Wendy's figures faded into the distance, Caden gave me a sly grin and locked his gaze with mine, asking, "What business matter did you want to discuss?" "Nothing," I replied, pressing my lips together. Caden stepped closer, towering over me with his commanding presence, his voice low and magnetic. "But you just mentioned having some business to talk about." I shrugged. "I seem to have forgotten what it was." Truth be told, there was no business to discuss at all. I just couldn't stand Wendy's expression. Without another word, I turned on my heel and walked away, leaving Caden looking confused behind me. Back at my desk, I tweaked the design for "Ice and Fire" but still couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Before long, it was time to clock out. As I stood to leave, my phone rang. "Jasper, what's up?" I answered. His clear voice responded immediately, "Rosaline, are you done for the day?" "Just finished," I said. "I'm waiting outside Eclipse Group," he replied with a calm tone before hanging up. I made my way downstairs and out the door, spotting Jasper's car. He got out and approached me. His gaze softened as he spoke, "Rosaline, get in the car." "Alright," I answered quietly and slid into the passenger seat. I glanced at him and said, "I was planning to come see you after dinner." Jasper grinned and said, "I'll treat you. Let's go together." I nodded. "Sure." His smile deepened at my response, the corners of his lips curving in a soft, warm expression. He started the engine and drove toward the villa on the outskirts, the moonlight casting a quiet glow over the road.Wendy's POV: After finishing the discussion on the collaboration with Michael And Caden, I was reluctantly pulled out of Eclipse Group by Michael. As I stepped outside, I saw Rosaline get into Jasper's car. I froze, surprised as I watched the car drive off. Just moments ago, in the CEO's office, Rosaline had been shamelessly flirting with Caden. And now, she was getting into Jasper's car? I narrowed my eyes at the car for a moment before pulling out my phone. I quickly texted Lilian, "Inform the reporters that Rosaline and Jasper are going out. Also, don't forget to tell Candice!" Lilian's response came almost immediately: "Got it, Wendy!" Rosaline, youcunning Omega, justwait! As I fumed, glaring at the retreating car, Caden emerged from the building, walking with his usual calm confidence. I hurried over to him, pointing at Jasper's car, which was almost out of sight. With a deliberate tone, I said, "Caden, I just saw Rosaline get into Jasper's car. They looked very close and happy together." Upon hearing that, Caden's charming face instantly hardened. Noticing his cold expression, I couldn't help but smirk and said purposely, "You know, Rosaline and Jasper are a great match. My brother mentioned that Jasper ended his engagement with Candice for Rosaline. "I also heard that Jasper pursued Rosaline for two years straight. And at the awards night, he even proposed to her, though they claimed it was just for the promotion of their new play ... " Before I could finish, Caden cut me off with irritation, "If you stay quiet, no one will mistake you for mute." With that, he turned and walked away without a second glance. I watched as his striking figure faded into the distance. Ah, evenwith his harshwords, I felt a strangesenseofjoy. One day, I'll definitely win his heart! The Eclipse Pack's Luna will belong to me in the end!Rosaline's POV: I sat quietly in Jasper's car as we drove towards his villa on the outskirts of the city. He handed me the script and said, "This is for 'The Call of the Wolf'. Take a look and let me know which role you like." I skimmed through the pages without much interest, then replied, "Just give me a suggestion. Pick a role with fewer lines." I'm not really fond of acting. For one, I don't like being the center of attention, and secondly, I simply don't have the time for it. But after the awards ceremony, I had made a public promise to take on a role in the new play, so I couldn't back out now. "Rosaline, how about the role of Selina? It's a character that suits your requirements." Jasper turned his head to glance at me, his tone heavy as he suggested. Without much thought, I nodded. "Alright, let's go with that." He handed me the script and said, "Take your time to memorize the lines." "Thanks," I smiled at him. After a brief pause, he seemed to remember something and asked, "By the way, the opening ceremony for 'The Call of the Wolf' is tomorrow. Are you planning to attend?" "Of course, I'll be there," I said, pressing my lips together. Even though Caden might not approve of me taking time off, it's my choice, and he has no right to control me. Jasper spent hours explaining the filming details to me, and before I knew it, it was late into the night. I glanced at the clock, stood up, and said, "It's getting late. I should head back." "I'll drive you," Jasper said, quickly rising to follow me. But as we reached the villa gate, a swarm of paparazzi werewolves, hidden in the shadows, suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Flashes went off non-stop as they began snapping pictures of Jasper and me.
