Malachay’s P.O.V. The second Xandros says that the Pack got annihilated, Taliyah starts sobbing and we can feel the deep sorrow racing inside her. I hold on to her with all my might, wishing I could take the sorrow and pain from her. I feel lost, not knowing what I can do for her or what she needs from me. I hear Ward whispering to her “We are right here, we are not going anywhere. We will always be here for you.” Over and over again and slowly I can feel a change in her emotions. I breath in her scent and without thinking about it twice I say “I love you, Princess.” And I know that I mean it with all my heart. She turns around in my arms and even though I can still feel a turmoil of emotions inside her, she smiles at me and says “I love you too, Milkshake.” Eamon burst in to laughter and Ward and I softly laugh at her words. She looks at Ward and I see a twinkle in her eyes as she says “I love you, Cookie.” We both start laughing louder as we see the look on Ward’s face and I can see that Eamon is holding his stomach. “What about me, Princess?” Eamon manages to ask out of breath and she says “I love you too, Chocolate Cake.” A huge smile forms on his face and he kisses her neck after he tells her he loves her too. She is looking at Ward and I wonder what will happen if he doesn’t speak up. I can see the smile on her face starting to fade and I want to kick my Brother’s ass, but before I can do anything he runs from the room. I can feel her heart break at his action and I know that Eamon wants to kill him as badly as I do. “Ward, get your fucking ass back here. Or Eamon and I will kill you, if our Mate doesn’t do it for us.” As I finish my rant through the mind-link, the door slams open and Ward walks in with our Mother in tow. He walks over to Taliyah, Mother has a smile on her face and I wonder what is going on. “Taliyah, the only thing in life I have always wanted was to find my Mate. My heart breaks as Ward walks away from me and I want to scream on the top of my lungs. But somehow I stay calm and wonder what the hell got in to my Mate. I hear the door open and I can smell Ward’s scent drifting towards, as I listen to his words I get overwhelmed by his feelings for me. I know that I will never have to doubt his feelings for me ever again.He holds out a box and I have tears in my eyes as I take it from him. I open it and look at a golden ring, the band turns in to Trinity knots, holding an emerald in the middle. It goes perfectly with my necklace and bracelet and I jump in to his arms, kissing him all over his face. Then I pull back, look him dead in the eye and say “If you ever walk out on me like that again, your Family gets to bury you. Am I making myself very clear, Ward.” The room falls silent at my words and I hear my other Mates gasp. “I am sorry for walking out on you. I promise that I will never do it again without telling you why.” He says and I kiss him on the lips. As he puts me on the floor, Aurora walks up to us and without warning she smacks him across the back of his head. “If you ever upset my Daughter like that again, you better pray that I am dead and buried. That goes for all of you.” She says as she looks at her sons. The three of them nod their heads and keep their eyes on the floor. “They look like sad, little puppies.” Ivory says in my head and I burst out in laughter. I start hiccupping as I look at their faces and I have to agree with her, they look like sad, little puppies. “Sad, old, little puppies.”I reply and Ivory is rolling around my head, laughing her ass off. I hold on to Eamon because if I let go, I will be on my ass in seconds. “Can we join in the joke, Sweetheart?” Barin asks and as I get the words out in between my laughing fit, he starts laughing too. “I am sorry, but Ivory and I have a weird sense of humor.” I say through the mind-link. “Don’t ever change, because we love you just as you are.”Ward responds and I try to calm myself down, but Ivory is not having it. She looks at me with those same puppy eyes the guys just had and I start laughing again. “Sorry, but….a Lycan in…your head…making…..puppy eyes…” I can’t even explain it, because with every word I say I am reminded of their eyes and I start laughing again. “Guys, I am sorry. But she has her Mother’s sense of humor, learn to live with it.” My Grandfather says and Xandros doesn’t make my laughing fit any easier when he says “Better them, then me.”Grandfather and Barin get in to a laughing fit as well and I see that Anayah, Grandmother and Aurora are holding their stomach as they are laughing their asses off. The others in the room are better at concealing their laughing and I see that Armand has even turned his back towards us. It takes a long time before we are all settled down and I kiss each of my Mates as I tell them again that I love them.
