Prince Dante’s P.O.V. I feel relieved knowing that my Grandson will be staying with us for a while and I hope I get a change to get to know him. He may not be a Royal, but he is from the Royal blood-line. I know that Barin will explain the meaning of that to him and I will make sure that he knows that he will always have a home to return to. “Alaric, how do you want to handle Talon’s note?” I ask, but Taliyah is the one that answers me. “Grandfather, I will go home as he requested.” Every head in the room snaps in her direction and she starts laughing. “What the fuck are you laughing about? This is not funny.” Ward growls and we can see that Eamon is not doing any better. It is a good thing that Malachay is not here, even though I have a feeling that my Granddaughter told him to come back. Taliyah doesn’t respond to Ward’s outburst, she just puts her hand against his cheek as she puts her other hand against Eamon’s cheek. She just sits there and I am amazed at the way she is able to calm her Mates down. Taliyah’s P.O.V. I linked Drake, asking him to return to the Palace and to give control back to Malachay. I need my Mates with me when I am going to explain myself to everyone. It doesn’t take long before Malachay walks back in to the room. “Did Drake manage to calm down a bit?” I ask him through the mind-link and he tells me he did, but that they are curious as to why I asked them to return. “Father wants me to return home, but he never said anything about not being allowed to bring guests. So why don’t we pay my Father a visit. I am sure that once he knows that I am coming home, he will inform Roger of it. That way we don’t have to go chasing after either one of them. He didn’t tell Xandros about Mother, so I want to know if Ayden is aware of the fact that Mother was a Royal.Because if he is aware, he will try to take advantage of that fact.” I look at Xandros and he tells me that he is not sure if Ayden knows. Not that it matters, because once he finds out he will use it to get away with whatever he does. Unlike me and Xandros, Ayden is like our Father and he will use anyone and anything to get away with his actions. I have seen him put the blame on everyone but himself for his failures and Father always believed him, no matter what the evidence said. Ayden couldn’t do anything wrong in Father’s eyes and he knew exactly how to use that to his advantage. “Taliyah, I doubt your Father will let us on to his territory. So how do you think this will work out?” Kaelan asks and I look at Xandros, who knows exactly what I am thinking. “You need permission from the Alpha, Beta or Gamma to enter a Pack’s territory, don’t you?” I ask him and he nods his head. “Well, I will make sure that our Gamma is at the border and he will grant you access.” Is my response.“The Gamma is our Uncle and he is one of the few mated to his fated Mate in our Pack. He always looked out for Taliyah and if he could, he made sure she wouldn’t run in to Alena.” Xandros reveals and even I am shocked to hear the latter. “How did he manage to do that? I never noticed him going out of his way to keep me from bumping in to Alena.” I ask, not expecting to get an answer, but Xandros has one for me, none the less. “He would warn me or one of his own children and we would make sure she got distracted long enough for you to go where you needed to go. I don’t think she ever realized we were there as a distraction.” Xandros smiles at me and I know that they saved me from a lot of trouble over the years. Princess Maleah’s P.O.V. I look at my Grandchildren and thank the Goddess for sending them our way. Even though they are adults, I will treat them as little kids and annoy the hell out of both of them. We have already lost to much time and I know that no matter what we do, we can’t undo what has been done to them over the years. I have to make sure that my Grandchildren know that I will always be there for them, no matter what. I listen to the conversation as they make plans to visit her Father and I know that I want to give that moron a piece of my mind. I feel the anger building inside of me and Dante grabs my hand to calm me down. Xandros will take Taliyah back to Blue Crystal Pack , but not before we have entered the Pack’s territory with the Gamma’s help. Taliyah’s Mates will stay close to her and Xandros to keep them both safe. The rest of us will spread out to make sure we arrive at the Pack-house from different sides. Amand asks if there should be more Warriors involved, to make sure that everyone can be detained that needs to be captured. Alaric and Ward agree with him, they go over the Warriors they want to bring along and it is Taliyah that points out that it would be wise to keep the territory surrounded.“Why do we need to surround the territory? With us at the Pack-house we will have our hands on your Father and Roger in no time.” Camden says and Taliyah shakes her head. “No, you won’t. The second Father realizes you are there to take him down, he will go for the underground tunnels. And the exit-points of those tunnels are outside our territory.” She states calmly and I see Xandros’ eyes widen, apparently he was not aware of these tunnels and I wonder what else he kept from my Grandchildren.
