The Council's Arcane Academy
Joseph’s p.o.v. Griffin is pacing in my head, not happy with something at all and I slowly open my eyes. I am hugging a pillow and when I press my nose in it, I can smell Jocelyn’s scent. “She is not here, go find her.” Griffin growls at me, one unhappy Wolf. I have just finished getting ready for the day, when I hear rushed footsteps outside my door and the next second it opens wide. “Where are those little monsters?” Herold asks with a devilish smile on his face. I shrug my shoulders, because I have no idea who or what he is talking about. He opens every door in our Quarters, but comes up empty every single time. “Did you try the main dining room?” I ask him and he actually growls at me, before he runs down the hallway again. “Inti, who is Herold looking for and why?” I ask through the mind-link and I really hope that he has an answer for me. I listen to Inti’s explanation of events and I am glad Herold is not here to see me doubling over from laughing. “Jocelyn, which of our Pups pissed off Herold?” I ask her through the mind-link, believing that Joey is the culprit. “That would be our lovely little girl.” Jocelyn responds and for a moment I am in deep shock. Jenna had tied his shoe laces and not Joey as I had expected, that girl is getting herself in to trouble already. I walk into the main dining room with a sandwich in my hand and look around the loud and messy room to find Joey and Jenna to my left, both of them with huge grins on their faces. “Did you find them?” I ask Herold as I turn towards him, he shakes his head as he looks around the room and I follow his line of sight to where I saw Jenna and Joey. Neither one of them is there anymore, but I can sense that they didn’t leave the room. “Where the hell are they?” Griffin asks me, but I don’t have a clue and just shrug my shoulders. I see Indigo and Jocelyn walking around the room, helping anyone that needs some help and handing out more materials for the ornaments. “Can you get these items for me?” Jocelyn asks as she holds out a piece of paper and I take hold of her wrist to pull her close to me, kissing her as I take the note from her hand. “I will be back soon, Little Devil.” I whisper next to her ear, before I grab Herold to leave the Pack-house. “That Son of yours in in trouble.” He says with a huge smile on his face, as we step outside. “And who said it was my Son?” I ask him and he actually stops dead in his tracks, before he starts laughing. “Are you telling me that Jenna tied my shoe laces?” He asks and I nod my head. “That girl is trouble, stealing sausages of everyone’s plate and now she tied my laces. What if one day she decides to paint your face with permanent markers?”We both start laughing, because at this point I wouldn’t put it past her to do so and I can already imagine Mom’s reaction. “Come on, let’s get these supplies and maybe I am able to get a present for Indigo and Jocelyn in the process.” I tell him, as I start walking to the area with the small businesses. It doesn’t take us long to get the supplies for the ornaments and I manage to find some gifts for Indigo and Jocelyn. Herold is being a bit sneaky, but I guess he doesn’t want me to see what he is getting. The store owner tells me that he will get the presents where they should be, while we are at White Mountain Pack-house. Apparently I had a rather questioning look on my face, because he tells me that Inti asked him to make sure every present that was bought for Little Crescent Pack would be delivered in secret. Herold and I walk back into the main dining room to find an even bigger mess, but everyone seems happy. Suddenly I hear Armon growl softly and I hear Jenna squeal as Herold stalks towards her, a huge grin on his face. She tries to get away from him, but Herold is to fast for her and the moment he has her, he starts to tickle her. “Thought you were funny, didn’t you? You’re a little monster.” He softly growls and keeps tickling her. Jenna’s giggles are flying through the air and Joey just watches them, just making sure that his baby Sister is alright. Herold finally stops tickling Jenna, she is out of breath from laughing and he pulls her onto his lap to hug her. “Sorry, Uncle Herold. I wanted to see if I could do it without you noticing.” Jenna confesses after she has caught her breath and she kisses him on the cheek as an apology. Lunch is served in buffet style and by the time we have to get ready for dinner, there are many ornaments spread across the dining room. I see Jocelyn placing to small packages into her bag and I look at her with a raised brow, but she just shakes her head. I keep a close eye on Jocelyn and I see her placing the packages under the tree at White Mountain Pack-house. My best guess, Joey and Jenna made something for my parents and knowing Mom she will become emotional, once she figures out who made them. Dinner is used to hand our little gifts to our Pack-members and I see the panic on Inti’s face, when he realizes that he forgot all about that tradition. “All taken care off, Milo and I did that yesterday.” I tell him through the mind-link. “Thanks, I had forgotten about it. I was to preoccupied with settling in here and with this connection between me and Indigo.” He confesses and I am glad he feels a connection to her, she has been able to make him smile again. “Okay, who wants to go first?” Inti asks, once Mom and Dad have handed out their presents to their Pack-members. Sampson, one of our best Warriors, decides to bite the bullet and walks up to Inti. A smile appears on his face, when Inti hands him a knife with a Celtic symbol on it.
