Jocelyn’s p.o.v. Joey is sitting in a chair next to the mattress we slept on and he smiles at me when he sees that I am awake. “Don’t tell him I said this, because he is going to kill me. Dad is with his parents.” He says with a huge smile on his face and I giggle at the mischievous look on his face. “Is he going to kill you because you told me where he is or because you refer to him with Dad?” I ask, but I know exactly what he means. He chuckles as he takes Faye from me, while Indigo takes Christian from me and she tells me where I can take a shower. “Mommy, where is Daddy?” Jenna asks and she crawls over my legs to reach her arms out to Joey. I tell her that Joseph and Inti are telling Alpha Amarah and Alpha Theseus about their trip and everything that has happened along the way. In the meantime I take her with me to a bathroom on the first floor, we take a shower and get changed into some clean clothes. The bathroom is connected to a small room and I can tell it is used for situation like this, to freshen up after a long trip or any other reason someone might have to freshen up. Jenna is looking at a few dresses that are in her size and an Omega tells her she can take her pick, she keeps going from one dress to another and back again. “Mommy, I can’t choose and I don’t see anything for Faye and Christian.” Jenna says as she turns my way. I look at the dresses that she was looking at and I pick a deep purple dress that falls below her knees, she smiles at me as I help her into the dress. “Ma’am, what did she mean with nothing for Faye and Christian?” The Omega asks and I quickly tell her in big lines about them. “Don’t worry, I already asked my Mate to get some clothes for the little ones. I will also arrange for everything you might need in the Pack-house for them.” She replies and I thank her for her kindness.I put on black skinny jeans with a shirt of my own, the last one that was still clean and I see a huge smile on the Omega’s face. I get a lot of smiles from Pack-members as I walk back to the ballroom and I see that everyone is busy with clearing the room. Indigo is talking to April and I walk towards them, ready for some breakfast. “Aunt April, look at my dress.” Jenna shouts through the ballroom and multiple heads turn in her direction, one of them looks rather murderous. April guides us to the main dining room and as we walk through the lobby of the Pack-house, Jenna stops dead in her tracks. She points up the wall and I see a painting of a two Wolves, one with a fur as dark as Kardia’s and one with a golden fur like Joseph. “That is our Mom, Minerva, with Griffin, this is from his first shift.” April says with pride in her voice and she points out the other paintings. A painting of Linus with Amda, a painting of Minerva with Morris and another painting of Linus with Bishop.“We got our Wolves when we were supposed to and we thought our paintings would never be up there, but Mom made sure that someone was there to take a picture. Joseph never saw Bennett shift and I don’t think he has seen the painting yet.” April says. I like the idea of the Alpha family being portraited this way, instead of in their Human form. Whoever made those paintings is a true artist, it looks so life like. Eyes are burning into my back and I know who’s eyes they are, well not really. I don’t know the female that seems to feel the need to keep staring at me, but from what I have seen of her, she screams Trouble with a capital T. Jenna is holding on to April’s hand and keeps asking questions, which April answers with a smile on her face. Someone pushes their way through me and Joey, bumping into him hard and he loses his balance. He is able to turn himself around as he falls to the floor, protecting Christian from getting crushed by his weight and I hear him scream in pain as he hits the floor with his sore shoulder.Erylis pushes forward to grab the Bitch that is responsible for Joey’s fall and I feel someone taking Faye from my arms, just before Erylis is able to wrap a hand around the Bitch’s throat. “WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?” I roar with Erylis’ voice interlaced with mine and everyone in the dining room is looking at us. We keep growling at the female that doesn’t seem to realize that she pissed off the wrong Wolf and I see a male rushing towards us with an angry look in his eyes. “Release my Daughter, she is the future Luna of White Mountain Pack.” He growls in my direction. I look from the Bitch I am holding to April and then I look at the Bitch’s Father with a smirk on my face. “So, you are into females?” I ask as I look at the Bitch and I see confusion on her face and that of her Father, while other Pack-members are laughing their asses off. “No.” her Father responds. “She will be Milo’s Mate.”I look at April, who just shakes her head and is trying to cover up her smile. I look back at the Bitch and I loosen the grip I have on her throat, giving her the chance to breath. “I thought the first born would take over from Alpha Amarah and Alpha Theseus?” I ask, my eyes locked with hers and I know she can see my eye color slightly change from time to time. “Milo is their first born Son and he will take over, when Alpha Theseus is ready to step down.” Her Father says and now I am really confused. I thought everyone here knew how this leadership works and who is going to take over in the future. “April, correct me if I am wrong but isn’t he mistaken? Joseph explained to us that your parents are both an Alpha and there for they share the responsibility for this Pack or did he miss inform us?” I ask.
